From Arsenal to the Ball God-Chapter 146 - 47: Ma’el’s Godlike Speed! Isabella’s Sportswear Hits the Market! (Part 2)
"Come in!" A data analyst opened the door and invited the two in, his eyes showing obvious astonishment when he looked at Ma'el.
Ma'el was not surprised. He patted Gilbert on the shoulder, "Let's go, it's time for a check-up."
Gilbert, smiling, walked in with Ma'el and came to a computer. They looked down to see a data table.
[Gilbert:
NO.1: 19.9 miles per hour
NO.2: 19.4 miles per hour
NO.3: 19.1 miles per hour
...]
"Not bad."
Gilbert smiled, knowing these captured his fastest speeds. After giving up comparing with Ma'el, he felt much more relaxed.
Ma'el looked at his data, a bit confused. He still needed to convert it.
This unit of measurement he's used since childhood can't be seen from today's perspective. It's a deep-rooted habit; there's no way he's sensitive to miles.
"Fastest is around 32 kilometers."
Internally, he got an answer. The conversion between miles and kilometers is roughly 1 to 1.6.
"Over here." A data analyst pointed to the side with a wry smile, indicating them to look at another computer which had Ma'el's various data.
[Ma'el:
NO.1: 23.8 miles per hour
NO.2: 23.6 miles per hour
NO.3: 23.5 miles per hour
...]
"Almost 24?"
Gilbert swore he'd prepared himself mentally, but still didn't expect Ma'el's running speed to reach this data. He could hardly accept it: "Bolt?!"
"Top speed."
Ma'el laughed, took out his phone while explaining and used the calculator because he couldn't do the math in his head, "it's not like I can always run this fast."
He quickly calculated his average kilometer speed, 38.4!
Which means running with Saint Bell and Mbappe, he might win by a slight edge!
Premier League defender?
Before Kyle Walker fully developed, chances are nobody could keep up with him!
And that's only Level 4!
Ma'el was increasingly curious if at Level 5, his speed would allow him to race Bolt... or even surpass him.
"Unheard of."
A data analyst exclaimed, shaking his head and spreading his hands, "we initially thought we miscalculated, analyzed it several times using the system, only then realizing it was right.
"I couldn't possibly doubt the Amisco system anymore, so the truth is simple, Ma'el's speed almost surpasses all football players."
Another data analyst remained silent, just took a look at Ma'el's physique, seemingly wanting to see what was inside.
......
After Ma'el and Gilbert left the training base, they walked home toward Cherry Street, somewhat like saying a final goodbye to the city streets.
Along the way, they encountered many fans asking for photos and signatures, all of which they agreed to.
It didn't cause much chaos. Most fans who loved them dearly just stood far away taking pictures, not disturbing them.
As they walked on, they reached the bustling streets in the city center, seeing long lines in front of many shops.
"What's going on?"
Gilbert looked a bit curious, approaching the crowd.
Ma'el remembered the chaotic scenes from his previous life of people lining up to buy tea and luxury goods, advising, "Let's not go, in case it causes a disturbance that's hard to manage.
"What's there to see about these hustles? It's just the weekend, and everyone's bored."
"Primacy?"
Gilbert saw the logos on these stores; they seemed familiar.
He suddenly turned his head, looking at Ma'el, "Isn't this the brand you endorsed?"
"Uh?"
Ma'el quickened his pace toward the lively crowd, seeing most holding shirts related to his collaboration, his attitude changed completely.
"Haha..." He put a hand on Gilbert's shoulder and laughed, "Come on, let's grab a few. These folks have good taste."
Gilbert looked somewhat speechless, following Ma'el to line up, indeed causing a stir.
Many fans holding collaboration shirts stood by Ma'el, having family snap photos, some pulling Gilbert into the shot too.
Initially pleased, Gilbert gradually tired of this.
Especially when he realized that he was just a part of the scene with people taking photos with Ma'el's collaboration shirt and snapping pictures with Ma'el, his mindset slowly started to collapse. 𝘧𝓇ℯ𝑒𝓌𝑒𝑏𝓃𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭.𝒸ℴ𝓂
Ma'el seemed quite happy, calmly standing in line for a long time, even refusing when others offered to give up their spots.
"Weren't you avoiding the crowd?" Gilbert finally couldn't hold back, pursed his lips and asked.
"What crowd?"
Ma'el had already forgotten his words, smiling, "Don't you think the material of this shirt is excellent? It's top-notch, and the style has flair. I bet they'll sell all across All England.
"Look at this hot atmosphere, enthusiastic crowd; it all proves I chose well to endorse this brand."
Gilbert: "..."
So buying anything else is mindless hustle, and buying your endorsements is a hot vibe, an enthusiastic crowd, huh.
"The endorsers surely would give you a few pieces, right?" he asked patiently.
"They should."
Ma'el, still relentless, pointed around, "But this craze hasn't been witnessed in ages; let's experience the rush of shopping."
Gilbert was completely speechless, giving a thumbs up to him, "Alright, alright."
After hanging around for over half an hour, the two finally 'snagged' two shirts, realizing they even had the Sheffield United logo on them.
