Lin Fan's heart sank further when he saw an old man with gray hair and Jian Xin descended from the air into the tent.

The old man must be Jian Xin's master, the Sword Saint.

Their entrance caused the ground to erupt and the ice that froze earlier shot at the generals again.

This time the sharp ice struck through some of the armor of the generals.

Two of the generals fell to the ground clutching their hands on their chests.

As they tried their best to move, some of them changed into their beast form.

But it was too late as the Sword Saint released the sword in his hand and it flew at the four generals.

The sword flew through the ice wall, one after another.

To their horror, the generals' upper bodies fell onto the ground.

The cold had made them feel numb and all they could see was their lower bodies kneel and drop to the ground.

The soldiers fell and another wave came in.

The Sword Saint with the sword in his hand, walked towards the remaining four generals.

This time the four generals changed into their beast mode even before the Sword Saint made his move.

Two of them roared and instantly their muscle mass increased.

Their hands became like the paws of a bear.

The other two howled and their teeth turned into fangs.

With his sword, the Sword Saint tried to slash at the two generals in bear-like form beneath him.

He was knocked out of the air by the other two generals that were now like wolves.

Soldiers with long spears were trying to skewer him as more and more of them came into the tent.

The two generals in wolf-like form leaped apart, one to the left and another to the right of the Sword Saint.

But it missed as the general in wolf-like form squatted down like a wolf ready to pounce on its prey.

The generals in bear-like form knocked the Sword Saint down and one of them with his sharp fangs tried to bite onto the Sword Saint's neck.

The head dropped and rolled onto the ground.

It was, however, not over as the other bear-like general successfully bit his fangs onto the neck of the Sword Saint.

An ice wall engulfed the Sword Saint's neck, and it stopped the fangs from plunging into the neck of the Sword Saint.

All it did was to create a few hairline cracks onto the ice wall.

"Come, follow me but not too close." Lin Fan knew it was time for him to strike.

He quickly walked towards Hulu Bei Er with Ho Ming and Zhang Yi Nian following behind.
