From Imp to Demon God: Conquering the Demon World With a Succubus-Chapter 66: Demon Races 1
After the Abyssal Dragons was a race called Behemoth Lords.
Myles was confused why they were called behemoths when they were the smallest demon noble race at the moment.
Myles even failed to spot them due to their small physique.
However, when they wrote their name on the Crimson Register Stone, the second knight cadet whispered towards him.
"Do you know that Behemoth Lords can control their size at will. In fact, their actual size is as massive as a mountain."
Myles’ eyes widened.
He whispered. "How did you know?"
The second knight cadet replied, "As expected, you didn’t know. The Crown of Ash has the most powerful demon race at the moment. In fact, every single one of them is equal in terms of power. That’s why they belonged to the crown that focused on war, siege, and annihilation. It’s really surprising that the Lady of Chains and Whisphered Vows led her batch while competing with these monsters."
Myles frowned. "Why are you changing the topic?"
The second knight cadet was confused before he realized Myles was asking about his source.
He said, "Of course, the Young Lady studies about the demon race she will be competing in."
Myles nodded. "We did study too, but not comprehensively. There’s so much to learn about the kingdom."
The second knight cadet asked, "Isn’t the most important topic to learn about the demon race of each of the seven infernal crowns?"
Myles shrugged. "I must have failed to learn some of them. Come to think of it, the Behemoth Lord seemed to have crossed my mind.
Say, do you think the smallest they can achieve will let them enter the quantum world?"
"Quan what? What world is that?"
"It’s a realm."
"Realm... I don’t know. The size you see currently is their smallest size. Also, the smaller they are, the less power they currently hold. For them to utilize their innate art, they have to return to their actual size, too."
Myles nodded.
He did not bother chatting with him anymore after sensing the glare from his seniors.
They continued to observe the elevated platform, watching the Ash Knights’ turn to write their true demon name on the Crimson Register Stone.
Ash Knights were charred black armor fused into their flesh. The aura they exuded made Myles feel his will against fighting them was slowly being drained. They have two swords on their waist. Myles felt they were above the knights he encountered.
They were, in other words, noble knights, deserving a status of a demon noble to fight for the Demon King.
Their potential was surprisingly no lesser than the vampires, while their knight called Ash Legions—blackened hell-knights—had the same potential as them.
Myles believed fighting the Ash Legions was difficult and required him to utilize every trump card he possessed.
Next was another demon race with the potential no lesser than the abysmal dragons.
The Pyre Seraphs. They were six-winged flame silhouettes that only had a massive single eye. Only two wings were flapping while the rest surrounded the massive single eye.
When Myles glanced at their eyes, he felt his soul was being burned, shocking him to the core.
They target the souls? Just how powerful are they?
Not only that, Myles discovered that the most dangerous knight he encountered before was actually the knight of the Pyre Seraphs.
The Pyre Champions.
With a flaming greatsword behind their back and a powerful demon noble they follow, they were a force to reckon with.
And they’re only one out of the four demon noble races in the Crown of Ash.
Myles believed he must be wary of the Crown of Ash.
However, the Crown of Ash was only the beginning.
The Crown of Iron Flame followed. The first demon noble race was called the Forge Tyrants—massive horned smith-giants.
Accompanied by their Forge Sentinels—towering mechanical knights. Myles was in awe of the Forge Sentinels, appearing to be similar to robots he knew back on earth.
Afterwards was the Crucible Golems, who appeared to be molten metal humanoids. Their potential, quality and quantity wise, was lesser than the Forge Sentinels.
They were accompanied by the knights called Rune Wardens, who were gold rune-plated knights and their potential was similar to their master.
Myles did not think too much of them. Perhaps, their innate arts were what made them useful for the kingdom.
As for their innate art, Myles did not know.
The last was the demon race called Ash Dwarves. They were short soot-skinned smiths, who always wore serious expressions.
When it came to war, the Crown of Iron Flame was certainly the second significant crown that the demon king of the Nhar’zorath kingdom had.
Afterwards, it was the Crown of Night Glass’ turn.
They were the demon race that made Myles frowned.
The first demon race to be called from the Crown of Night Glass was the Umbral Lords. They were the shadow silhouettes with glowing eyes. It turned out, their potential was higher than the incubus, instantly overshadowing them.
Myles observed the reaction of the Guardian of Obsidian Descent and he appeared to be hostile against the Umbral Lords.
Myles thought. It all made sense now, he simply doesn’t recognize the existence of the Umbral Lords.
The Umbral Lords were accompanied by their knights called Night Templars.
After the Umbral Lords was a demon race called Night Phantoms. They were cloaked wraith-like assassins, moving as though they could end him in an instant. 𝑓𝘳𝑒𝑒𝓌𝘦𝘣𝘯ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝑚
Myles frowned. He thought it was the Pyre Seraph, who posed an enormous threat to him, but it turned out, there was another race, too.
Myles also saw the Veil Stalkers, the Night Phantom’s nights and he did not perceive their presence at all until he saw them with his own two eyes.
Myles then realized something. I need to improve my sensing ability. I can’t rely on my five common senses. I need more than that!
As he fell into deep thought, he barely recognized the third demon race of the Crown of Night Glass, the Glass Oracles, who was known to have the innate ability to view erased memories...
