As expected, he saw shadow threads binding every joint of their body.

He wanted to shout at the top of his lungs to fight against the raging demonic energy that tried to kill him, but, in the end, he was first consumed by terror of death more than the fact that death has yet to appear.
Myles’ control on his demonic energy was so fine that he could freely stop his demonic energy completely in a millisecond. Of course, under the condition that that Ancient Demonic of Gluttony wouldn’t intervene.
That was why he did not attempt consuming the demonic core of the knight captain and confidently attacked the most fatal part of their body.
