Galaxy Domination Guide-Chapter 333 - 324 outnumbered
Helos’s lizard face was stern!
He had never imagined that the Earthlings would actually dare to dispatch an expeditionary fleet to launch a substantial counterattack against the Teizene Empire.
"Send a request for assistance to the fleet of the Eleventh Prince," Helos made the decision swiftly.
Although the fleet of the Eleventh Prince had not yet completed assembling, and it was difficult to advance fully due to a lack of necessary supplies, the Prince still had enough power to completely overwhelm the Earth fleet now arriving at Lingge Star.
At least that’s what Helos believed.
The defense of the Teizene Empire’s Lingge Star base was not empty, it comprised a self-defense fleet consisting of eight warships, a certain satellite defense system, and a large number of defensive weapons on the ground. Although it couldn’t compare to the near-impregnable defense networks set up by the Earthlings on Earth and in the Sirius Galaxy, it was still relatively effective.
Helos thought that the defensive line he built on Lingge Star could withstand a fleet of thirty ships from a mid-level civilization. Especially if the Lingge Star base could hold out and buy time, it would allow for the arrival of reinforcements.
The Teizene military had not anticipated an attack by the Earth fleet on Lingge Star or other forward bases; their main concern were the local civilizations and the audacious members of the Order Association who consistently opposed the Teizene Empire.
Underestimating Iridium-Star-Earth civilization was a major strategic error for Teizene. This mistake stemmed from the complete annihilation of Su Beisi’s fleet and could also be blamed on the Teizene military’s rash assumption that Earthlings would not counterattack. But regardless, the Earthlings had come, and the Teizenese were in trouble.
Bai Zhongqi, stationed on the Sacred Falcon, commented with a smile, "In our battles with Teizene, we’ve generally been the ones with a numerical advantage, and the Teizene fleet has been smaller."
The fleet outside Lingge Star was not the entirety of the Earth expeditionary fleet; in reality, there were just over sixty Universe Navy warships here. Bai Zhongqi had intentionally kept the Silver Feather Fleet in the rear. Although the Silver Feather Army was eager to perform in front of the Chancellor, Bai Zhongqi believed there was no need to use more than two thousand warships to attack a planet with not very high defenses.
This battle didn’t offer much opportunity for Bai Zhongqi to show off, as Xu Lanzhou was the fleet commander. Facing only eight Teizene warships of the defensive fleet, Xu Lanzhou was not overly cautious nor did she underestimate the enemy. This beautiful commander scorned the enemy strategically right from the start. The first attack launched by the warships wasn’t against the ships or orbital defense platforms, but directly targeted the planetary surface, aiming at things like Teizene’s military arsenals.
These target intelligence were obtained previously from captured Teizene warships containing base design blueprints of Lingge Star which allowed the Iridium Star warships to align and attack without recon.
The response time of the Teizene warships was absolutely not slow, confirming their excellent military discipline in the Galaxy. The Teizene warships quickly assembled, formed a formation, and sought positions to fire at the Star Alliance warships.
"One cruiser, two destroyers, and three escort ships is truly not enough," commented Bai Zhongqi, who was not involved in commanding the battle.
On the side of the Star Alliance Universe Navy Fleet, Xu Lanzhou seemed to be intentionally using their numerical advantage. The four main battle ships of the Star Alliance, including the Sacred Falcon, the Beiluoshimen Battleship, the Fairy King Battleship, and the Fairy Queen Battleship, were all dealing with targets on the surface of Lingge Star and its orbital structures.
On the other hand, the smaller ships such as the cruisers and destroyers were very actively engaging with the Teizene warships.
Leading the charge was the Star Alliance Cruiser Gansu, positioned most forward, which also made it the focal point for the Teizene warships’ fire. Space was instantly filled with splendid light beams and trajectories of railgun shells, illuminating the otherwise dark universe with an unusual brilliance. A barrage of ammunition hammered against the energy shield of the Gansu, causing ripples to flash continually, yet the Gansu inside the shield appeared unmovable.
Finally, perhaps like a lion getting irritable by a swarm of mice, the main cannon at the bow of the Gansu aimed at a Teizene escort ship. After a pause, eight main cannons fired simultaneously. The tremendous power of the Gauss Railguns burst forth with terrifying energy, like a surging, wild storm, directly striking the Teizene escort ship’s shield.

The Teizene escort ship, which was quite maneuverable, attempted to evade as the Gansu fired, but the Star Alliance warship, being many times more advanced in terms of calculations and automation based on collected war data, had already modeled the probabilities and set up the optimal attack trajectory.
Unexpectedly, the Teizene escort ship merely made a subconscious maneuver, but was still hit by most of the shells. The shield, which wasn’t very useful, shook a little before shattering completely.
Even Bai Zhongqi was somewhat stunned by this, "Are Teizene’s single ships really that vulnerable?"
Zero helpfully explained, "After all, it’s a heavy cruiser like the Gansu. We’ve equipped this heavy cruiser with eight main cannons comparable to those on Teizene’s main battle ships, and our attack efficiency is also very high. The target was a Teizene escort ship, so the outcome should be quite straightforward."
With a single volley, the Gansu penetrated the Teizene escort ship’s energy shield. Helos’s eyeballs nearly popped out witnessing this scene. Although the defeat of Prince Su Beisi wasn’t a secret within the Teizene Empire Army, the military still kept a tight lid on the specifics of the warfare, and Teizene had no habit of boasting about the enemy’s strength. Thus, soldiers like Helos, would think that despite Earth’s fleet achieving victory in the previous battle, it would have been a pyrrhic victory at best.
Earth really did have some technologies that Teizene lacked, but the overall power was still lacking; the disparity between the two wasn’t too vast.
At least it shouldn’t have been possible for a single Star Alliance cruiser to shatter an energy shield with a simultaneous volley—that was absurd.
An injured dog is open for attack by everyone; the shieldless escort ship was immediately subjected to a concentrated barrage from a group of Iridium Star warships. Within just a few minutes, the warship was overwhelmed by cannon fire and ultimately reduced to a pile of scrap and wreckage.
Xu Lanzhou very cleverly split the fleet into several squadrons. This meant that at least one or two squadrons would always be out of the enemy ships’ effective range. When enemy cannons targeted one squadron, others would not be under attack, which allowed them to counter the Teizene warships more efficiently and safely.

The battle didn’t last long; in less than half an hour, several Teizene warships were beaten into utter disrepair.
