Galaxy Fall: All My Skills Are Maxed-Chapter 141: The Demon God’s Treasure
BOOOOM!!!!
The earth groaned in protest as Mirabella landed softly in the center of the deep, glassed crater caused by her apocalyptic attack. Her eyes, glowing with residual energy, fixed intently on the thick, billowing curtain of smoke.
"Come back."
With her calm command, Sunder flew out from the dark smoke, the massive blade shrinking back to its standard size, and hovered obediently on her left, while Adira stood radiantly on her right, bathing the ruined landscape in divine starlight.
CRACK!!
The sickening sound of massive bones cracking and forcefully reforming rang out. A mangled, dark figure leaped frantically back from her, its sudden action clearing the thick smoke and finally revealing its form. The mighty Divine Alphard, the Abyssal Calamity, had been reduced to a singular, heavily bruised head upon a battered serpentine body.
"I actually thought a realm Boss will be powerful, the first I fought is a lot stronger than you." Mirabella said, shaking her head in genuine disappointment. The thrill of the hunt was fading rapidly.
"Forget all that, I should end this... I still have some few hours before going back." She stretched forth her hand towards the trembling, one-headed snake.
"You’re truly a disappointment... When you have ten heads you were intimidating, you almost scared me too, but now..." She shook her head lightly. The surrounding spirit energy warped as a dense, highly toxic green mist appeared in her opened palm, quickly condensing and forming a lethal Poisonous Ball.
"Ok, time to die--"
"--No!! Please human!! No, Please Master!! I will do anything, please don’t kill me!!"
"....?!!"
Mirabella paused, her spell hovering inches from her palm, staring at the Hydra who was now miserably begging for its life. The apex predator of the dungeon was groveling.
"Please!! I will even become your servant!! I will do anything, please just don’t kill me!!" It begged, even lowering its one remaining massive head, letting it pathetically touch the scorched ground in complete submission.
Mirabella turned her head to Adira, a slight frown of confusion on her face: "Did you say anything to this guy?" She asked.
"No, Master... But this snake knows my origin, and can sense the divinity in me." Adira answered, her chiming voice carrying the weight of absolute authority.
"So you actually scared him to this state." Mirabella exhaled, closing her eyes to process the sheer absurdity of her new fairy companion’s aura, then reopened them. The tactical gamer in her took over.
"Ok, what can you give me? Of course, it must be something worth your life." She said, staring at the Hydra with a cold, serious expression. A Realm Boss’s hoard was worth far more than its experience points.
"Of course, Of course!" Alphard quickly nodded its massive head, and opened its cavernous mouth.
Mirabella took a cautious step back as a huge, intricately carved golden chest fell from its maw, hitting the ground with a heavy, metallic thud.
"This is my prize possession... Only the most valuable things are in there, you can take it all." The Hydra offered, desperately slithering back from the chest to show it meant no harm.
Mirabella nodded. With a casual wave of her hand, she sent a concentrated trace of spirit energy which smashed into the chest’s archaic lock, forcefully opening it.
BOOOOM!!
A blinding burst of ancient energy erupted as a flawless red crystal flew out from the chest, ascending gracefully into the air and humming with raw elemental power.
"Hmm...."
{Crystal Of Origin: Once consumed, Grant the user a resistance to earth, water, fire and wind... Once resistance reaches 100%, User will be completed immune to these elements.}
Mirabella blinked, staring at the red crystal in shock. Absolute elemental immunity was a myth-tier attribute in Galaxy Fall.
’System... Is there a way to consume this thing?’ She asked internally with a slight frown, knowing raw consumption of such high-tier items usually resulted in explosive death.
{With Host current Physique, Host can’t bring out all the crystal’s powers... But I can merge it with Host and you will slowly grow it.}
Mirabella nodded in understanding: ’Ok, this is acceptable.’
She stretched forth her hand towards the Crystal, which spun violently in the air before shooting directly towards her palm.
"This crystal is a one of the main treasures of the demon god! He asked me to safeguard it, but for my life, I will exchange it with you!" Alphard said, desperate to prove the item’s worth.
BAM!!
The crystal shattered into smaller, glowing geometric pieces and flew towards Mirabella’s right arm, sinking painlessly and merging with her skin.
"Huh?"
Mirabella raised her right arm, and rolled up her sleeve, staring at the intricate, black unknown runic language that had just been permanently etched into her flesh, spiraling from her wrist all the way down to her shoulder.
{Congratulations Master gained a new Bloodline.}
’What? A new Bloodline?! Wait, I am a mage, and thanks to the Imperial Bloodline, I am also an assassin. But measuring my stats, I have the powers of all the bloodlines, except Rune Master, and Alchemist. The rest are under my control. So is this new Bloodline related to these two?’ She thought rapidly, analyzing her complex class architecture as the words appeared on the glowing system screen.
{Bloodline: World Chosen: Stage 1.} 𝑓𝑟ℯ𝘦𝓌𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝑐ℴ𝓂
{Effect: Permanently gain 10% resistance to the four elements attacks, wind, fire, water, and earth.}
’Stage one... Seems I can upgrade this Bloodline, it isn’t a surprise because the imperial Bloodline upgraded... But how will I upgrade this one? Is it the same as the Imperial Bloodline?’
{Correct, Host just need to bypass the level limit, and the bloodline will automatically upgrade.}
’Ok, what about the stages? Can you tell me about it?’
{Sorry Host, I don’t have that information.}
Mirabella nodded, tracing the mesmerizing tattoo on her right hand. ’I wonder what I will become if I upgrade this Bloodline to the maxed, after all it’s a treasure belonging to the demon god.’ She thought, a terrifying smile gracing her lips as she realized her survivability had just skyrocketed.
BOOOOM!!
Before she could fully inspect her new stats, a second glowing artifact shot out from the golden chest with a concussive blast, stunning Mirabella.
’There are more?’
