Game Invasion Era: Rise from Binding the Goblin King!-Chapter 152: Taming the Obsidian Wraith, Entering The Chaos Battlefield
James saw that George was determined, so he didn’t say anything else. He pulled a key out of the drawer and gave it to him, saying, "This is the key to the secret room under the Temple Guild. The teleportation array leads to an unknown area of The Chaos Battlefield. I had people check it out. They met a 80-level boss, a Stage SSS tier. You must be careful."
"Don’t worry, I have a plan."
George took the key. His current strength could easily handle an 80-level boss.
Seeing that James had nothing else to say, George said goodbye and left.
He had just broken through to level 60, so he could tame another pet.
Originally, George wanted to tame Earth’s Will. But his current strength was nowhere near a match for it.
"So I can only tame that Obsidian Wraith boss."
George thought of the final boss in the Black Stone Realm. Lilia said the creature had good growth potential and was at Stage SSS tier, but its level was only 65.
He wasn’t really impressed with the Obsidian Wraith, but there was no better target right now.
George sensed where Constantine was. He was still in Death Graveyard. A thought came to him, and he directly teleported into the Abyss realm.
Roar, roar!
At the edge of Death Graveyard, loud roars echoed. Countless monsters came in a huge wave.
Constantine and his group were fighting hard to hold back the attack.
"Beast wave?"
George looked at the huge army of monsters in the distance, confused. This scale was almost like a full beast wave.
But beast waves usually target human settlements. Why were they attacking Death Graveyard?
"Master, you’re here!" Elise noticed George’s arrival and quickly ran over happily.
There were a lot of monsters, but they were weak. The group didn’t feel much pressure.
"What’s going on?" George pointed at the monsters coming in from all around and asked curiously.
Elise looked a little upset. "It’s all because of Constantine. He got an Artifact gear and thought he was invincible. He challenged a Marquis of the Demon race. His identity was exposed, and that’s why the beast wave came."
Challenging a Marquis?
George was speechless. Constantine was really arrogant. Marquis were usually 80-level bosses. Even with their strength, they might not be able to beat one.
Elise continued, "But don’t worry, Master. We already killed that Marquis. These monsters don’t pose a threat anymore."
"What, you killed him?" George was shocked. He had underestimated their strength.
Elise nodded and briefly explained the battle.
After getting the Artifact gear Abyss Soul-Eating War Hammer, Constantine’s strength increased a lot. Plus, Elise and the others were strong too. They wore down the Demon Marquis and killed him.
That’s why their identities were exposed, and the Demon race was now hunting them.
"I underestimated your strength," George said with a sigh. He was even more excited to see how strong they would become next.
Also, after entering the Abyss realm, he got a system message. It detected a suitable target to tame as a pet - the Obsidian Wraith.
Lilia was right. The creature definitely had great growth potential.
"Obsidian Wraith," he called out to the monster that was fighting nearby.
"Master," the creature quickly ran over, looking respectful.
George nodded in satisfaction. "Do you want to be my pet?"
The Obsidian Wraith’s eyes lit up. He nodded quickly.
These days, he had spent time with Constantine and the others, and had learned about George’s amazing power.
Their strength came entirely from George.
George didn’t hesitate. He immediately signed the contract.
The Obsidian Wraith didn’t resist at all. The contract formed smoothly.

...
The system messages kept coming. The group glowed all around, their power surged, and they even scared the beast wave away.
Elise had broken through to False God too! And she had gained Elf Queen’s Legacy!
George was shocked. He never expected Elise to break through to False God so fast.
Besides her, Lilia had also broken through to False God.
George wasn’t surprised. Lilia was a Blazing Angel, a god by nature.
But after breaking through to False God, she gained divine power. Constantine and Elise hadn’t unlocked anything like that. That probably had something to do with her Blazing Angel identity.
"Master, I broke through to False God," Elise came closer and said excitedly.
George nodded happily. The stronger his pets were, the more help they gave him.
Now, all of his group had broken through to SSS tier or higher. Except for Melina and the newly tamed Obsidian Wraith, the rest could break through to False God with one more step.
"I have another task for you all," George said. He explained his plan to go to The Chaos Battlefield.
This time, he wasn’t just there to deal with Anderson’s mess. He also wanted to explore the treasure of Skyforge Empire, and finish Melina and Eliex’s wishes.
"Master, I want to go see The Veilwood," Elise said, hesitating a little.
She had gained Elf Queen’s Legacy, and she felt like The Veilwood still had a secret.
"Okay, should I send someone with you?" George asked.
Elise shook her head. "No, I’m stronger now. The Veilwood is already abandoned. I don’t think I’ll run into any danger."
"Fine. Then I’ll assign the tasks," George said quickly. "Obsidian Wraith, Golden Flame Dragon, and I will take care of Anderson’s mess and explore the Skyforge Empire treasure. Melina and Lilia, you two go together. Constantine, you and Eliex go together."
They all agreed without any issues.
Then George led them back to the real world.
In the villa, Constantine was still making gear. This time, he was crafting a longbow for Elise.
When he heard George’s plan, he said, "Lord, the Holy Light Empire is already gone. I have no regrets. I want to stay here and keep making weapons. This Artifact gear longbow will be finished in a few days."
Elise heard this and her eyes lit up. She looked at George with excitement.
She knew this bow was for her.
George thought for a moment, then nodded and said, "If that’s the case, Golden Flame Dragon, you go with Constantine to check out the Holy Light Empire."
Those were all groups that had once fought against the demon race. Maybe they left some clues or still had some strength left.
"Roar!" Golden Flame Dragon made a small sound of dissatisfaction. He wanted to go with George instead.
"Hey, Golden Flame Dragon, you don’t want to go? Don’t worry, whatever good stuff we find, I’ll give it to you first," Constantine noticed his unhappiness and said.
"Okay." Golden Flame Dragon immediately smiled and agreed.
"Why do I feel like I’m being tricked?" Constantine frowned and scratched his head.
No one paid attention to him.
George handed Elise the scroll to The Veilwood and said, "Elise, are you sure you don’t need someone to go with you?"
"No, Master. I feel like I’ll have a special experience. I’ll bring you good news soon." Elise took the scroll and activated it. Her body disappeared and she entered The Veilwood.
George didn’t think too much about it. He led the others to the Temple Guild.
Golden Flame Dragon, Constantine, and Obsidian Wraith, all big guys, appeared in the Sovereign City. It caused a big stir.
But the guards had already been warned. They didn’t bother George and even helped keep order.
The group quickly arrived at the Temple Guild headquarters.
It had already been taken over by the guards.
George said a quick hello and went straight to the basement. Luckily, Constantine and the others could change their size, or they wouldn’t have been able to get in.
The basement was empty, except for a teleportation array in the center. It led to The Chaos Battlefield.
George and the others stepped onto the array. Two soldiers activated it smoothly.
The space strength shook, and everything spun around. The terrible pulling force came back.
In a second, the group appeared in a new place.
This was a wasteland. The environment was completely different from Earth and the Abyss realm. The sky was gray, the land was cracked, and there was no grass or plants. The air had a faint smell of blood and a heavy darkness.
In the distance, there were constant roars and fighting sounds.
The first feeling was that it was poor, desolate, and chaotic. It was full of killing and death.
This was the Chaos Battlefield?
George felt a little heavy in his heart. He knew that if Earth wasn’t protected, it would end up like this.
Lilia frowned. She didn’t like the environment here. She said, "Master, I and Melina will leave first."
She wanted to finish the task George gave her as soon as possible and get out of this place.
George nodded and told the others, "Keep your own safety first. If you face something you can’t handle, let me know right away."
"Okay," the others said and went their separate ways.
Only George and Obsidian Wraith stayed behind.
"Master, where should we start exploring?" Obsidian Wraith looked around and asked curiously.
The environment was desolate, but it didn’t affect him. The Black Stone Realm was much worse than this.
