The next morning, the players gathered in room 1108, silent.

Everyone had shared their experiences from the previous night. Those who had a bye, or were suspected of having one, included Black Holy Son, 13MARK, Yuyi Xinzhong, Li Ang, and Mule.

Those who received notes were Bai Haozheng, Plague Doctor, Liu Wu Dai, and Wanli Fengdao.

The note Plague Doctor received was full of malice: "Don't get killed." He was attacked again by the decaying elderly creature in room 0610 and struggled to hold on until Black Holy Son and Yuyi Xinzhong arrived to support him.

Afterward, when the elevator's safe period arrived, Black Holy Son, with considerable dedication, entered the stairwell himself to check the explosion site upstairs. Meanwhile, Plague Doctor and Yuyi Xinzhong hid in the elevator and ascended to find Black Holy Son. Instead, on the tenth-floor corridor, they saw Li Ang pounding a clown heavily with his fists, with a stunned Black Holy Son standing nearby watching.

Li Ang first ground the clown's limbs to powder, then used vines infused with Divine Power to bind it tightly, preventing its escape. He then tossed the clown to Black Holy Son, instructing him, along with Plague Doctor and Yuyi Xinzhong, to guard it carefully and, if they had a chance, to check on Bai Haozheng on the fourteenth floor.

Before leaving, he specifically instructed Plague Doctor and Yuyi Xinzhong to stay in the elevator car and Black Holy Son to remain in room 1108. He also told them to keep the door open while questioning the clown. This was to monitor the elevator car; if the decaying elderly creature launched a surprise attack, people in the elevator car and room 1108 could support each other.

Li Ang himself, scythe in hand, began to search the hotel floor by floor, room by room, looking for any trace of 13MARK and the old woman in red.

It was unclear whether 13MARK had already been killed and devoured, its traces erased by the corridor's refresh, or if the old woman in red possessed special cleaning and concealment techniques. Li Ang searched every floor but found no unusual traces.

The Terrifying Old Man attacked Li Ang on sight. This corroded the entangling vines. Then, with its dim, turbid, lightless eyes, it gave Li Ang a deep look, ignored the blows from the wooden spears, and submerged into the ground, vanishing.

After this, Li Ang, wandering through the various floors, encountered no more corridor monstrosities or figures in Bamboo Hats.

He made his way to the second floor on the hotel's right side, where Mule and Liu Wu Dai had already successfully met up with Wanli Fengdao.

Little Brother Dao received a note around 00:30. It contained the same message Plague Doctor had received: "Don't get killed." Shortly after he saw the note, there was a knock on the door of room 0272. Peering through the Cat's Eye, he saw a Caucasian man in a Dolphin Hotel staff uniform. The man was smiling gently and asked in German if Wanli Fengdao, who was inside the room, needed any assistance.

Little Brother Dao knew this Caucasian man was likely one of the corridor monstrosities Judy Cecil had mentioned. Following the experiences of past hotel residents, he politely declined in English.

However, the man did not leave quietly as rumored. Instead, his smile vanished, and in a somewhat harsher tone, he demanded Wanli Fengdao open the door.

Wanli Fengdao braced himself against the door, silent, and drew his sword.

The Caucasian man outside grew increasingly irate, pounding on the door. His expression gradually became savage and twisted, and his body began to deform significantly, transforming into a Deformed Monster resembling a mud eyeball.

By the time Mule and Liu Wu Dai arrived, the Deformed Monster had already broken through the door of room 0272 and was locked in combat with Wanli Fengdao.

Strangely, after the Deformed Monster was killed, its bodily remains rapidly melted and were absorbed by the hotel corridor floor.

After Li Ang met up with Little Brother Dao and the others and they briefly discussed their next move, they decided to go down to the first floor and search other parts of the hotel. After all, Li Ang had already repelled the Terrifying Old Man and hadn't seen any more corridor monstrosities.

Unfortunately, they still couldn't find the old woman in red.

The four of them returned to the tenth floor and met up with Black Holy Son and the others. Black Holy Son's group had already been to the fourteenth floor and confirmed Bai Haozheng was safe.

For the first time, all the players gathered together during curfew. On the tenth floor, they began interrogating the mud eyeball in the Glass Bottle and the clown bound by vines.

On the sixth night, only eight of the original fourteen players remained.
