Getting a Sugar Mommy in Cultivation World!!-Chapter 608: Not Dead?
Beep! Beep! Beep!
An X-ray-like figure of Song Liu appeared on the disc before it started flashing with a red-colored warning. Everyone except Amon in the room paused, seeing this warning and looking at Song Liu in shock.
"You have one of those legendary 'physiques'?" Stella practically shouted in envy, looking at the young woman before her. Biting her lips, she glanced back at the High Priestess with tears threatening to escape her eyes.
Song Liu was a bit startled when she heard this, but the next second, she composed herself and explained, "Yes, from what Noah told me, I have Zither Heart and Soul Body."
"Oh? Noah did?" the High Priestess asked with a bit of a thoughtful tone. "I have to say, I have no idea what your physique is. But from your words, you already know about it."
"Yes, he gave me the manual that was suitable for me, and I can practice fast because of that. Sadly, it works only for people with my physique." Hearing those words, the light in Stella's eyes dimmed.
"This Noah guy seems more mysterious than we thought," Hemes commented, while the rest nodded. "Thank the lord he is dead."
"About that…" Song Liu suddenly showed a hesitant look on her face when she heard the last words the man spoke. Everyone looked at her, waiting for what she wanted to say.

"What is it? Speak freely." The High Priestess could not help but feel something was wrong and gave the girl a nudge to speak.
Finally, Song Liu let out a breath before saying what she had been thinking for a while. "I have a feeling that Noah is not dead."
"Impossible!" Amon immediately stood up to defend himself when he saw the High Priestess and the others looking at him, a look of disbelief plastered on his face. "I personally punctured his chest with my hands. I am sure that I hit his vitals, and there is no way he could have survived that unless someone has the power to revive the dead."
"What if everything you saw and felt never happened?" Song Liu did not deny his claims, as she had seen them with her own eyes, but instead, she asked back something that made the man freeze.
"Illusion…?" he stuttered before denying it sharply. "That can't be. I felt the insides of his body with my own arms. Illusions can be deceptive to what you perceive, but to tamper with the senses of my 'body'..."
"Ewww." Stella showed a look of disgust hearing his words. She could not help but imagine the scene, which soured her mood even more.
Song Liu once again shook her head. "I am merely taking a guess. I have a feeling he is very mysterious. I have never seen him fight before, but I have heard the Sect Master say that even he has no idea how strong that man truly is."
"But—"
"Amon." Before he could say anything else, the High Priestess interrupted him in the process. "Even if there is the smallest possibility that the man is alive, we have to keep it in consideration. And besides, we cannot be sure that someone other than that man knows about a way to defend against that move or not."
The solemn tone of the woman snapped the man to reality. It was the truth, as he had only used the power of the curse on Noah and no one else. So how could he claim that only he was the one who could defend against it?
"Song Liu, how long have you been in the sect? Do you know something about the people there?" Seeing Amon turning silent, the High Priestess looked at the girl behind him. "Take a seat and tell us everything you know."
Song Liu turned towards the seat where the only untouched cup of tea was placed and took a seat. "It was not long ago that Noah and the Sect Leader came to the brothel I used to work at..."
While Song Liu was recounting her life's experience to the people of the Red Dawn Cult, in the royal castle of the Feng Empire, a certain lazy captain was packing up his luggage, which mostly consisted of things that could help him relax and sleep.
From a comfortable mattress to a soft fluffy pillow, he dumped everything in his storage ring and made his way out of the castle. But he never expected to meet someone familiar on his way out.
"If it isn't my favorite captain," from behind one of the tall and bushy evergreen conifer trees, Noah, in his disguise as the intruder he used before, appeared in front of Captain Blacksword.
"You…" Instantly recognizing the man, the captain groaned in annoyance. "Why couldn't I just go on my trip peacefully? Now I feel like my trip won't be as relaxing as I initially thought," he muttered under his breath as if Noah could not hear him at all.
Noah's lips twitched before forcing a smile. "No need to be so moody. I was just going to say hi as I saw you walking around. Looks like the Emperor gave you the trip you deserved."
"Yeah, thanks for the idea. I talked to His Majesty, and he approved the leave because of how much I had to work during the tournament." The captain's lazy eyes showed a hint of gratitude, and he was no longer as hostile to Noah as he was before.
"So? Where are you planning to visit?" Noah asked with a curious smile on his face.
"Hmmm, I have no idea, to be honest. I want to go somewhere where there is no one who will disturb me, but that is just asking for the impossible."
"Ohhh, I have an idea of a place you might like. Wanna hear about it?" Noah let out a chuckle, hearing the man pour out his heart before him.
"I would love to know about such a heavenly place!" The captain immediately closed the distance between the two of them as he almost jumped on Noah in excitement. Noah did not mind his actions and simply took a step back before answering. "It's on the far east of the Feng Empire. A beach where you can enjoy the peaceful sea, and no one usually visits there as the way to that place is filled with terrifying beasts. Wanna take a chance to visit that place, even though it's dangerous?"
"As long as I can rest at the place you described, the risk is nothing." His eyes flashed with unnatural determination and conviction, and the lazy captain went on his journey to the far east.
