Mother is the only rank 8 rune master of this world. Not many wants to learn that at all cause it doesn't help much in battle at all. The only purpose it has is to make a strong barrier around a kingdom or anything other place.

But I have witnessed it with my own eyes how she uses runes. It was one of the factor that made her the strongest.

"Do you know ryne magic?"

I asked innocently. She smiled at my question and said,

"It's rune magic not ryne magic. And yeah, if you want mommy can teach you that. Do you want to learn it?"

Heck yeah I want to learn that, I would be an idiot if I refused.

"I am happy to hear that." She smiled when I showed my curiosity to learn rune magic.

There was still time before she can train me which she had promised with Ayesha, cause i am still a child. But rune magic... she can definitely teach me that.

There was no hesitation so I nodded my head without a doubt.

"Good boy." Then naturally a compliment flew from her side.

Then came the part that I was talking about but even this wasn't the worse one that I was talking about, that has yet to come.

She closed her eyes and forwarded her face at me asking me to kiss her on her eyes.

I looked at her red soft and juicy lips as she waited for me to kiss her.

The first time this happened, I couldn't understand what to do at all.

How will you feel when you have to kiss someone who is your enemy and you guys once battled each other to death?

Definitely you wouldn't have romantic feelings for her no matter how stunningly beautiful she is.

But this time as well, i sorted my thoughts and kept telling me that this is normal, a child is kissing a mother.

Not that an adult inside a child's body is kissing his enemy.

I leaned closer to her and brought my face at the same level as hers and joined my lips with hers.

So i decided to just do that.

"Mommy?"

"What is rune magic?"

Let's go at it as if i have no idea of what a rune magic is, which actually is the truth.

She pondered for a while after hearing my question and after a brief moment, she said.

"Rune magic is one of the ancient magic that has been passed down from generations in my family. There are many people who use rune magic, but all of them are merely imitations of the original rune magic. Only our family had the books that teaches the original rune magic."

Our family? From what I have heard before, the hero is an orphan who has lost all of her family members. So which family is she talking about?
