Getting spoiled in a woman dominating world-Chapter 444: Baptism? [1]
Brandon stood barefoot on the snow-dusted stone path just outside the estate’s winter garden, wearing only loose gray shorts that hung low on his hips.
Lazy snowflakes drifted down from a steel-gray sky, catching in his dark hair and melting against his shoulders.
His breath fogged in slow white clouds as he held the phone to his ear.
"Yes, My Lord," Callista’s voice came through the line, slightly distorted by the distance.
"She is here right now. Still unconscious. The suppression field is holding steady. The healers are monitoring her vitals around the clock."
Brandon replied with a faint nod "Mhm. I will be there soon. Keep her contained there."
He ended the call with a thumb swipe.
For a moment, he just stood there, staring at the falling snow as the flakes settled on the garden’s bare branches.
At this time, the door opened, and Florence stepped out.
Looking at him, she smiled gently "Darling, lunch is ready."
Turning to her, he nodded "Mhm."
Florence stepped closer until she was right in front of him.
She reached up and brushed a snowflake from his cheek with her thumb, and then cupped his face with both hands.
"You’re freezing," she murmured in a soft voice filled with concern. "Come inside."
Brandon let out a chuckle and muttered "Needed the air."
She looked at him for a long moment, then leaned up on her toes and kissed him.
Her lips were warm against his cold ones, and Brandon’s hands found her waist, pulling her closer, deepening the kiss.
When she pulled back with both breathing fogged clouds between them, she rested her forehead against his.
He grabbed her ass and picked her up, and she obediently wrapped her legs around his waist.
Coiling her hands around his neck, she rested her head on his shoulder "Let’s go in."

Brandon walked through the long corridor of the Rheanne Church’s medical wing.
The hallway was lined with tall arched windows on one side, letting in pale winter light that reflected off the snow outside.
He wore his usual dark coat over a black hoodie and trousers.
Women guards stationed at regular intervals along the corridor straightened as he passed with their fists to chests in silent salute.
The corridor ended at a wide set of double doors and the two elite Church healers bowed deeply as he approached.
Brandon nodded once, then pushed the doors open himself.
Inside, there was a large, circular chamber, and in the center stood a single medical bed.
Monitors hovered around it on platforms, displaying Selena’s vitals in steady green lines.
Selena lay motionless inside the dome, unconscious, and her wrists and ankles were secured with soft leather cuffs.
Six healers were inside the room, monitoring the equipment, adjusting IV drips, and murmuring quietly among themselves.
The moment Brandon stepped through the threshold, every single one of them froze.
And bowed their heads in unison with their waists bent at ninety degrees and hands clasped in front of them.
"My Lord,"
Brandon raised his hand, and they straightened immediately, but their eyes were still lowered.
He waved his hand "Leave."
Without hesitation, they bowed again, then filed out silently.
The double doors closed behind the last one with a soft click, sealing the chamber.
After they left, his watch glowed faintly, and with a tear in space, Elize stepped into the room.
She moved forward and stood beside Brandon, looking at Selena.
"I can certainly feel Azyrth’s energy on her body. But she doesn’t seem like a vessel to manifest... she should be a herald just like you."
Elize’s gaze narrowed slightly "First, baptize her in the Rheanne Church."
"A full baptism under Rheanne’s name. The rite of cleansing. It will sever any lingering divine tether. If she’s truly a Herald and if Azyrth had marked her soul, Rheanne’s blessing will overwrite it and force the foreign energy out."
Upon hearing this, Brandon gave a nod "I will prepare for that."
She stepped forward and softly pecked his lips "Then I will take my leave. If anything pops up, just call me."
His gaze softened, and he gave a nod "Mhm."
With a smile, she patted his cheek gently "Also don’t forget, there is still ’one person’ out there... so be cautious while going outside."
"Charlotte is currently trying to track her down using Naevora’s information."
Brandon nodded his head as he knew who it was, Maevrith’s left-hand woman.
He killed her right-hand woman in a rupture the other day.
But there is still one left... who was not in Slovakia either.
Nodding his head, he replied "Mhm, I will be cautious."
With that, Elize teleported away from there.
After she left, he turned back to Selena.
He was about to sit down when a quiet knock sounded at the double doors.
"My Lord."
Brandon straightened "Callista? Come in."
The doors opened, and Callista stepped inside and bowed deeply.
Brandon waved his hand, and she straightened, her eyes flicking briefly to Selena before returning to him.
He spoke first "Do the preparation for her baptism."
Callista turned her head slightly and then nodded once.
"As you say, My Lord."
Brandon stepped forward until he stood directly in front of her.
He reached out and cupped her cheek with one hand, then leaned down and pressed a soft kiss to her other cheek.
Callista froze and her eyes widened, with a quick blush blooming across her cheeks like spilled wine.
"Thank you," Brandon murmured against her skin. "For always taking care of things here while I’m gone."
Callista’s breath hitched and she dropped to one knee instantly with her hands clasped in front of her chest in the formal gesture of devotion.
"Y-Yes, My Lord..." Her voice trembled. "This is nothing. I would do anything for you."
She lifted her gaze and looked at him with pure devotion "Anything..."
Brandon smiled and reached down to pat her head gently, "I know."
He stepped back, letting her rise.
Callista stood up, straightening her robes "I will begin preparations immediately."
Brandon gave a nod "Thank you, Callista."
She bowed again, then turned and left.

As he pushed the door to the Inner Sanctum area, Brandon’s gaze flickered around to see the surroundings.
In front of him, there is an enormous statue of the Goddess of Rheanne, and then his gaze fell on the numerous figures assembled before him.
At the very center of the room was a massive pool of shimmering liquid, its surface swirling with soft ripples despite the absence of any wind.
The priestesses were lined up in rows, standing in perfect formation with their heads slightly bowed in solemn reverence.
Seeing him enter, everyone bowed their heads in reverence.
Valiene who was standing in front, stepped forward and lowered her head "The preparations have been done as you instructed, Lord Herald."
To the side, Selena’s unconscious body is kept on a stretcher.
With a nod, he spoke "Begin the baptism."
