Getting spoiled in a woman dominating world-Chapter 45: Shopping with Ravene [1]
Chapter 45 - Shopping with Ravene [1]
Next day morning-
A sleepy groan escaped Ravene's lips as she slowly stirred from sleep and her body shifted slightly beneath the covers.
The warm golden rays of the morning sun filtered through the curtains, casting a soft glow across the room.
"I hate you..." she grumbled and her voice is still laced with drowsiness as she nudged Brandon's shoulder.
Brandon, who was lying beside her with his arm draped lazily over his forehead, opened an eye before chuckling "Morning to you too."
Ravene pouted, burying her face in her pillow for a moment before rolling onto her back with a dramatic sigh "Bastard... it still hurts..."
Brandon sat up, rubbing the back of his head as he glanced down at her "I mean, you did ask for more..."
She shot him a glare, reaching out to weakly slap his arm. "Idiot."
He let out another chuckle, catching her wrist before lacing their fingers together "I warned you,"
Ravene groaned again before shifting under the blanket, sneaking a glance at her lower half.
Seeing the faint redness on her skin, she muttered, "Ugh... I'm sore."
"You are the one cooking today for this."
Brandon hummed, pressing a soft kiss against her shoulder before pulling away "Alright..."
Ravene let out a tired sigh as she reluctantly pushed herself up from the bed.
She stretched her arms above her head, rolling her shoulders before glancing at Brandon, who was watching her with that smile of his.
She swung her legs over the side of the bed and stood up... only to immediately wince.
Brandon quickly moved close to her "You okay?"
Ravene shot him a half-hearted glare before sighing "Shower. Now. Let's go."
He stood up, stretching his arms lazily. "You need help getting there, old lady?"
Before he could blink, a pillow smacked him straight in the face "Call me old again, and you're sleeping on the floor," she huffed before walking toward the bathroom, making sure to sway her hips just enough to be teasing.
Brandon shook his head with a grin before following her.
---
The warm steam curled around them as the shower ran.
Ravene stood under the spray, letting the heat soothe her sore muscles.
She closed her eyes for a moment, enjoying the sensation, until she felt hands encircle her waist.
"You better behave," she murmured without opening her eyes.
Brandon hummed against her ear "No..."
She let out a small sigh but didn't push him away as he carefully rubbed her shoulders, easing out the tension.
After a moment, he leaned in and pressed a soft kiss against the side of her neck "Better?"
Ravene exhaled, relaxing slightly "Mhm..."
"Good." He reached for the shampoo bottle and lathered some onto his hands before gently massaging it into her hair.
She blinked, surprised at the gesture "Oh? Taking care of me now, are you?"
"Well, I did overwork you."
She chuckled but let herself enjoy the moment, tilting her head slightly as his fingers moved through her hair.
---
Ravene walked into the kitchen, wrapped in an oversized robe, still drying her hair, while Brandon was already by the stove.
She paused, watching him as he cracked some eggs into a pan "Wait... you're cooking? I said that for fun."
Brandon turned to her with an innocent expression "You looked like you were about to collapse, so I took over."
Ravene leaned against the counter, watching as he flipped the eggs "Since when do you know how to cook?"
"Well, Aunt Elize taught me some..."
Crossing her arms she asked "What's on the menu, then?"
"Omelet, toast, and coffee. Simple."
Ravene let out a pleased hum "Not bad. You do have some redeeming qualities."
He glanced at her and chuckled. "You sure? Because last night, you said—"
She immediately grabbed a dish towel and smacked him with it "Shut up and cook."
"Yes, ma'am."
Brandon chuckled as he dodged another playful swat of the dish towel and returned his focus to the stove.
The eggs sizzled in the pan as the rich aroma of butter and spices filled the kitchen.
She hopped onto a stool, drumming her fingers against the marble surface "So Elize taught you how to cook?"
Brandon nodded, reaching for a plate "Yeah. She used to say, 'A man who can't cook isn't a man at all.'" He scooped the omelet onto the dish before adding some toast on the side.
With a chuckle Ravene replied "Sounds like her."

Brandon poured a fresh cup of coffee, setting it beside the plate before sliding it toward her "There. Breakfast is served."
"Thankyou..."
Ravene smiled before picking up the fork and taking a bite.
The moment the flavors hit her tongue, she blinked in mild surprise. "Oh... This is actually good."
He slid onto the stool beside her, taking a sip of his own coffee.
"Hmm... what's the plan for the day."
---
As the garage door slowly slid open, the sleek black silhouette of the Porsche 911 came into view.
Brandon's eyes widened slightly as he looked at the sight of the luxury car "Woah... You got a Porsche 911?"
Ravene, standing beside him, tilted her head slightly in confusion. "Eh? Is that what it's called?"
She pursed her lips before shrugging nonchalantly "I don't really know. I bought it because it looked cool."
Brandon blinked at her "You bought a Porsche... because it looked cool?"
"What? I liked the shape. It's fast and stylish. That's all that matters, right?"
Brandon exhaled, shaking his head in mild exasperation "Right. Who cares about specs when it's just about looking good?"
"Exactly,"
As she tossed him the keys, he caught them mid-air and raised an eyebrow. "You're letting me drive?"
Ravene gave him a playful look before slipping on her sunglasses "Well, someone has to. I'm feeling lazy today, and besides..."
She leaned in slightly, tapping a finger against his chest "I know you wanna get behind the wheel."
With a chuckle, he walked to the driver's side door "Sure I do."
"Then quit talking and get in, Woonie," she teased before strutting over to the passenger seat.
Brandon shook his head helplessly as he opened the driver's side door, and slid into the seat.
As he adjusted his position and gripped the wheel, he glanced at Ravene, who had already made herself comfortable in the passenger seat.
"Now that I think of it..." Brandon mused, inserting the key into the ignition and pressing the start button.
The car hummed and the low purr of the engine vibrated through the dashboard
"Where are we going for shopping? I don't know the way. Can we use maps?"
With a nod, Ravene spoke "Don't worry, I will tell the way and we are going to the Solvyrn city.. also called the city of the women."
Huh? He looked at her blankly "City of women?"
With a nod, she replied "Mhm. Solvyrn City is an enormous district built specifically for the students of Solvyrn Academy. It's where they can relax, shop, and get everything they need without leaving their comfort zone."
"And everyone of them in that city is women... well the students are all women after all."
-_- How can I get my stuff in a city designed for women?
What about clothes, underwear, shoes and stuff?
Brandon faacepalmed himself and gripped the steering wheel tighter "So what you're telling me is... I'm going to be the only guy in a massive city filled with thousands of women?"
"Uh-huh."
"...And you don't see anything wrong with that?"
Ravene placed a thoughtful finger on her lips before shaking her head "Nope."
"This is a terrible idea."
*vroom* *vroom*
---
The drive to Solvyrn City was surprisingly smooth as Brandon drove down the road easily.
Ravene, on the other hand, was completely relaxed in the passenger seat.
She had kicked off her shoes, resting one leg on the dashboard as she absentmindedly scrolled through her phone.
Every now and then, she'd hum along to the soft music playing through the speakers, clearly enjoying the ride.
After nearly an hour, Brandon noticed the surroundings begin to change.
The roads became sleeker and soon, the cityscape of Solvyrn came into view.
Tall, elegant buildings stretched into the sky, many of them adorned with intricate designs and banners bearing the emblem of Solvyrn Academy.
Wide, pristine streets were lined with boutique stores, cozy cafés, bookstores, and vibrant shopping centers, all meticulously maintained.
But what truly stood out was the people.
Everywhere Brandon looked, there were only women.
Elegant young women dressed in academy uniforms strolled along the sidewalks, chatting animatedly with their friends.
Others wore stylish casual outfits, shopping bags in hand as they hopped from one boutique to another.
Some sat in outdoor cafés, sipping lattes or flipping through books.
It was literally a city of women.
Brandon instinctively gripped the wheel tighter "This is insane..."
Ravene snickered "Told you."
"Okay, let's just get this over with. Where am I supposed to park?"
"Over there," she pointed toward an underground parking lot attached to a massive shopping center.
"That's the Solvyrn Emporium—one of the biggest malls in the city. You'll find everything you need there."
Brandon maneuvered the car into the underground lot, smoothly pulling into an empty space.
The moment he turned off the engine, he sighed "I can already tell this is gonna be weird."
Ravene just chuckled "Come on, it'll be fun."
