Chapter 225: Chapter 219: Duke VS Six-winged Angel

On the broad back of Astra, the figure of Aiden Duke stood like a mountain.

He wore a suit of simple, unadorned black Battle Armor. He held no weapon, merely standing in silence.

Yet the tyrannical, peerless aura radiating from him merged perfectly with the Thunder Dragon beneath, creating a terrifying pressure capable of rivaling the Six-winged Angel.

The violent Thunderbolt Domain and the sacred Light Domain collided fiercely in mid-air, emitting waves of silent, muffled thunder.

The pressure looming over the Thunder Dragon army’s formation instantly lessened. Everyone felt as if an immense burden had been lifted, finally allowing them to breathe.

Raylo raised his head, staring in a daze at the man and dragon in the sky.

Rumor had it that both Aiden Duke and his Contracted Giant Dragon were powerhouses at the Peak of the Tier Five Domain Level.

Together, they could unleash power beyond their tier, enough to confront a Tier Six Celestial Calamity.

In the past, most people had considered it nothing more than an inspiring rumor.

Only today did they realize that perhaps the rumor was not without merit.

Aiden Duke, with his Thunder Dragon partner, Astra, was truly standing before a "Celestial Calamity."

The sky was split in two.

One half of the sky was pure Gold; the other, a raging Sea of Thunderbolt, sharply divided and unyielding.

Pure golden Holy Light and violent, violet-blue Thunderbolt eroded and annihilated one another in the silent collision of their Domains.

The Six-winged Angel of Death, "Fiery Sun," moved.

It made no wasted movements, simply raising its right hand slowly.

A Long Spear formed entirely of Light materialized in its hand. The brilliance of its tip outshone the blazing sun, as if the very Laws of the world were parting before it.

This was not a physical attack, but a pure manifestation of Law and will.

"Holy Light Judgment."

In the face of this strike, powerful enough to obliterate a Domain, a completely different aura erupted from Aiden Duke’s black Battle Armor. 𝚏𝕣𝐞𝗲𝐰𝕖𝐛𝐧𝕠𝕧𝚎𝚕.𝐜𝚘𝗺

It was a nearly insane, frenzied will born purely for combat!

"ROAR!"

Aiden threw his head back and roared as his own Frenzy Domain erupted forth!

This crimson Domain Power did not expand outward. Instead, it instantly surged into the body of Thunder Dragon Astra beneath him.

Astra’s massive body shuddered violently. From the gaps between its deep blue Dragon Scales, countless arcs of electricity laced with crimson, blood-red filaments burst forth!

After absorbing Aiden’s frenzied will, the nature of the once-pure Thunderbolt Domain was fundamentally transformed.

The Sea of Thunderbolt became more chaotic and unpredictable, filled with a madness that sought to tear apart and destroy everything.

The Sea of Thunderbolt in the sky had transformed into a true Chaos Thunder Prison!

"Astra!"

Aiden’s voice shook the very heavens.

The Giant Dragon understood. It opened its fearsome maw and spewed forth an immense Chaos Thunder Pillar, dyed a deep crimson. Like a furious dragon soaring to defy the heavens, it charged head-on toward the Holy Spear.

There was no earth-shattering explosion.

The instant the Light and Thunderbolt met in mid-air, a patch of space seemed to have been wiped away by an invisible hand.

A black point of absolute "nothingness" appeared, frantically devouring everything around it, be it Light or thunder.

A moment later, the black point vanished, and both the Holy Spear and the Thunder Pillar were annihilated.

The first exchange ended in a draw.

A wave of suppressed gasps swept through the Fiery Sun Kingdom’s army.

Their pride and joy, the "Celestial Calamity," had been blocked head-on.

On Fiery Sun’s divine and impassive face, a subtle change seemed to appear.

The six wings of light on its back flared open, and an even more majestic Power of Holy Light poured forth. The Golden Domain in the sky instantly expanded by a third, pressing viciously down on the Thunderbolt Domain.

The Holy Light formed into the phantoms of countless Angels. Chanting sacred battle hymns, they formed a battle line and charged toward the Chaos Thunder Prison.

Aiden Duke and Astra remained undaunted.

Within the Chaos Thunder Prison, countless raging thunderbolts coalesced into fearsome Thunder Beasts, which roared as they engaged the Angelic battle line in a brutal melee.

For a time, the sky had become a battlefield of myth.

Light and shadow intertwined. The aftershocks from the colliding Domains spread out in all directions as visible ripples.

With every ripple that swept past, a deep trench was carved into the earth, and distant mountains silently crumbled to dust.

The soldiers below watched in terror.

This was no longer a war of Mortals, but a contest of gods.

Before this level of Power, a so-called army of ten thousand was nothing more than a slightly larger anthill.

After several exchanges, neither could gain an advantage.

The battle fell into an eerie stalemate.

Just then, from within the ranks of the Thunder Dragon Duchy, several equally powerful auras surged skyward.

The Domains of "Iron Wall" Gaius, "Iron Blood" Luke, and "Frosty Winter" Elvin erupted in succession.

And there were more. An old Marquis holding a Giant Sword, whose soaring sword intent tore at the earth even while his blade remained sheathed. A Court Mage in a Magic Robe, wreathed in the Elements of wind and fire, unleashed his own Magic Domain.

They were the hidden strength of the Thunder Dragon Duchy, all of them Tier Five Domain Level powerhouses.

Seeing this, the Fiery Sun Kingdom’s side no longer remained idle.

Several Domain Level generals and Lords emerged from their ranks, the light of their own Domains shimmering behind them as they stood ready for battle.

The tension in the air, already stretched to its breaking point, was pulled even tighter.

Everyone understood that if all these Domain Powerhouses joined the fray, there would be no victors today. All that would remain would be a stretch of completely devastated Scorched Earth and hundreds of thousands of corpses.

The panic was even worse than before.

Before, it was the despair of facing a Celestial Calamity. Now, it was the terror of watching the apocalypse draw near.

"Enough."

A young voice abruptly echoed across the entire battlefield.

All eyes turned toward the source of the voice. The speaker was none other than the young King, Karachi, who sat atop a Fiery Sun Golden Eagle with a golden crown on his head.

He urged the golden eagle to fly forward a short distance. His gaze passed over the armies below to look directly at Aiden Duke in the sky.

"Aiden Duke, I have long heard of your renown. Seeing you today, I find the legends do not lie."

Karachi’s voice carried across the field.

"I have only recently ascended the throne. My heart is merciful, and I do not wish to see the Warriors of our two nations shed rivers of blood, nor see our people suffer."

He paused.

"Both sides have demonstrated their strength today. If we continue, I fear this war will bring only grievous losses to us both, with blood flowing for miles. Why not call a truce? What say you?"

The battlefield fell deathly silent.

All eyes converged on the man and dragon in the sky, waiting for their pillar of strength to make a decision.

Atop the Thunder Dragon, Aiden Duke was wreathed in thunderbolts that flickered in and out of existence.

After a moment, his deep voice resounded through the clouds, carrying but a single word.

"Agreed."

A single, simple word, yet it seemed to carry the weight of a mountain.

As he spoke, the Chaos Thunder Prison in the sky slowly contracted, ultimately receding into his and Astra’s bodies.

The raging Thunderbolt vanished, and the sky returned to its natural color.

At the same time, the Six-winged Angel "Fiery Sun" retracted its divine radiance. Its six wings of light folded as it transformed into a pillar of light that descended into the center of the Fiery Sun Kingdom’s army and vanished.

The terrifying pressure that had enveloped the entire battlefield finally vanished into thin air.

"Phew..."

It was impossible to tell who let out the first long sigh, but soon, a chorus of relieved gasps rose and fell throughout the ranks of the Thunder Dragon army.

One young soldier’s legs even gave out, and he collapsed to the ground, desperately gulping down the precious air as if he had just been saved from drowning.
