Girl Hero: Revenge on Goblins!-Chapter 286: D100. The Final Sun_2
Chapter 286: D100. The Final Sun_2
The Blade sliced through, even severing shockwaves that could shatter the earth. The hidden massive Magic Patterns beneath the soil crumbled, and everything around was torn to pieces.
Where the Blade passed, the once invisible space cracked open, and dozens of Sect Followers seemed to appear out of thin air, falling from the empty void. Their bodies, however, were already sliced in two, their blood spilling onto the ground.
"Ha—have you discovered it!"
Like a Magician whose trick had been exposed, the Bomber finally laughed out loud. Yet, there was no trace of frustration in that laughter; rather, it held the joy of a carefully designed trap being successfully unraveled by a challenger.
"But it’s too late, and too stupid." Fresh blood spilled from her lips, yet her smile only grew more enticing, a beauty that chilled to the core.
"I hear that as a Ghost Warrior, you can empty your Spirit and thoughts to strike a blade far beyond the limit... But unfortunately, even though you captured the target with intuition, that emptied brain of yours couldn’t comprehend it.
"Fire causes explosions, but does Water necessarily calm them? No, Water can also react to cause a more violent explosion!
"All interference would only aggravate the chaotic Chain, bringing greater loss of control!!"
The Sergeant’s Emerald pupils contracted in a momentary return to clarity, but it was already too late to swing the next Blade.
The Bomber laughed maniacally.
Like a chorus, the severed Saints squirmed and laughed amid the scattered blood and limbs.
Light shone from their wide-open mouths, from the pupils they raised to the sky, from their features and every pore—
""Gate—open up!""
They laughed in unison.
In the next moment, a foreboding jolted through the Hero far above, and the alerts from the Gleaming Scale Serpent and the White Snake sounded almost simultaneously.
"Queen, be careful!"
"It’s the wave of Ritual Magic, stand firm!"
The massive blast wave arrived first, followed by the shocking roar. The White Snake thrashed wildly like a kite in a storm, struggling to maintain balance amidst the turbulent airflow.
The Hero quickly lay flat, the White Snake’s Magic Power forming a barrier to protect her, preventing her from being tossed into the air amid the tumult. It also allowed her to have enough strength to poke her head out and look downward. fгeewebnovёl.com
Then, her Emerald Green pupils suddenly constricted.
The earth was fracturing wildly. The Forbidden Melting Peak Mountain Range, firm as guardians moments before, trembled like a child’s toy being shaken, then gradually collapsed, disintegrated, and spread cracks like a spider web. Blazing light surged from deep within the ground.
An endless light seemed to bloom here as the earth split open, the dark Abyss swallowing all light.
The Abyss spread continuously, seemingly to divide the entire Highland in two, until it reached the volcano engulfed by the Magic Cloud at the center.
The toxic cloud billowed, the volcano quivered.
—Then, the cry of the Phoenix sounded.

High above, the Hero and company looked down with shock and gravity at the scene below.
In their watchful gaze, the Forbidden Melt Peak slowly toppled; the majestic peak collapsed like a toppling tower of blocks. This collapse set off a domino effect, as ebony Abyss fissures extended from the edge of Forbidden Melt Peak towards the Central Volcano, eventually swallowed by the inky Magic Cloud.
Even though they were in the sky, they could feel the atmosphere of catastrophe, as if it would obliterate the heavens and earth. The surging turbulence stirred around them, constantly battering the White Snake’s Magic Barrier.
Yet, they could only watch helplessly, like spectators in the audience watching a drama unfold on stage, as the Abyss spread.
"How did it come to this... Were we a step too late..." The voice of the White Snake was filled with reluctance, mixed with hints of bewilderment.
Badly injured, she had been hunted by Black Gate’s followers, and though she had anticipated this worst scenario, its actual occurrence still brought an inevitable sense of apprehension.
The Hero’s Emerald pupils also trembled slightly.
She could feel acutely that something was awakening deep within the earth, at the core of the Magic Cloud and volcano.
It was akin to what she had felt facing the Depraved Flame before but exponentially stronger—an intangible oppressive force bearing down from all directions.
Facing the Depraved Flame, the Hero could easily shake off this pressure with sheer willpower, unleashing greater Strength. But now, it felt as though the weight of the world pressed upon her, slowing her blood flow and making her body so rigid that she couldn’t move.
This was a pure terror, the most primal shuddering fear, like a small child instinctively fearing a vicious Adult.
Even with her Phoenix Power, she found herself immobilized. Even as a Fantasy Species, the White Snake felt helpless.
It was as if the most primal Fear within her awoke—as if reliving the Nightmare she feared as a child in the crib—amidst the inky Magic Cloud, a pair of blood-red Phoenix Eyes opened.
Suddenly, her heart calmed.
"Are you not afraid?" The massive White Snake looked down at the petite Hero beside her, curiosity in her voice.
"I should be afraid, right, yet I’m not sure myself." The Hero chuckled lightly, gripping the Sword in her hand, though the blade’s tip trembled slightly.
"But someone has to do it."
