GLOBAL AWAKENING: My 10,000x Exp Multiplier-Chapter 52: []System Command Low, Spawning the Gold Mines
The central plaza of the White City had transformed from a scene of terrible panic into a large crowded refugee camp.
The pristine marble streets, protected by the shimmering hexagonal dome of the Chronos Hourglass, were completely isolated from the ash-choked ruins of Sovereign City.
Vahn Ryker stood on the steps of the Sovereign Bank, a hot cup of synthetic coffee in his hand.
He took a slow sip, enjoying the rich bitter taste. The heavy robotic detachment that had anchored his mind during the climb up the Chronos Spire was entirely gone.
He wasn’t acting like a machine today. He was just a man looking over the sanctuary he had built for his family.
"You look far too relaxed for someone who just conquered a city," Aria noted, stepping up beside him.
The Priestess had swapped her ornate Crimson-Lotus Vestments for a more casual white tactical jacket, though the legendary armor’s stats were still perfectly bound to her avatar.
The scent of cherry blossoms accompanied her, instantly cutting through the crisp morning air. She bumped her shoulder playfully against his. Her emerald eyes were completely devoid of the terror that had haunted her yesterday.
"I’m taking a moment to appreciate the view, Aria," Vahn smiled, his deep purple eyes scanning the crowd. "Besides, I have a Vanguard and a System Key handling the logistics. Why should I stress when I have the most capable team on the planet?"
Aria’s face flushed a soft pink as she immediately looked away to hide her smile.
"Flattery won’t get you out of your administrative duties. Hana sent me to fetch you. We have a problem. A very human and very mathematical problem."
Vahn sighed, lowering his coffee. "Let me guess. Resource scarcity."
"Exactly," Aria nodded, her expression sobering. "We have over five thousand civilians and low-level players inside this dome."
"Your protection is keeping the worst of it away, and people are staying healthy for now. But people still need to eat. They need clean water, and the casters need ambient mana to avoid sickness."
"The bank’s emergency reserves will last a month at best."
Vahn didn’t panic. He simply tapped the air in front of him, bringing up his newly reformatted status board.
The system reset had wiped his level back to one, but the tens of millions of experience points he had forcefully injected into his physical infrastructure remained.
He possessed 9,999 points in every base attribute. More importantly, he had acquired the title of System Administrator.
"The Spire’s integration engine didn’t just bring monsters and ruined skies," Vahn explained, stepping down the stairs. "It rewrote the geological foundation of Earth. It planted resources. We just have to know where to look."
He walked toward the edge of the plaza, Aria following closely behind. He closed his eyes and activated his administrator privileges.
’System,’ Vahn commanded mentally. ’Access Administrator Authority. Initiate System Command Low. Map localized resource rendering.’
When Vahn opened his eyes, the world had completely changed.
His Verdant Chronos-Sight flared, but it wasn’t tracking enemy movements or calculating combat vectors. Instead, the ground beneath the White City became transparent. He saw the underlying digital framework of the planet.
Glowing nodes of raw data pulsed like heartbeats beneath the concrete. Above each node hovered a holographic timer, completely invisible to normal players.
"Fascinating," Vahn murmured.
"What do you see?" Aria asked, leaning in close, trying to follow his line of sight.
"The game engine operates on spawn timers," Vahn said, pointing toward a ruined intersection just outside the protective dome of the Hourglass.
"When a resource node is depleted, the system puts it on a cooldown before it regenerates. Because Earth was just integrated, all the newly planted resource nodes are currently on their initial rendering cooldowns."
He walked right up to the edge of the barrier. Outside, the gray ash fell heavily over the twisted metal of the Sovereign City financial district.
Vahn pointed to a massive crater in the center of the street. "Right there. The system is trying to spawn an Uncommon Mana Well. It will produce enough liquid mana to sustain our casters and purify our water supply indefinitely."
"But the timer says it won’t render for another four hundred hours."
"Four hundred hours?" Aria frowned. "We can’t wait over two weeks for a water supply. Can you bypass it?"
Vahn let out a short genuine laugh. "Aria, I own the engine."
He didn’t hesitate and walked directly through the shimmering barrier. His boots crunched against the ash-covered asphalt.
The ambient temperature plummeted, but his passive fire immunity and heavily modified physical stats completely negated the environmental hazards.
"Sia. Kora. On me," Vahn called out.
From the bank steps, the silver-haired Vanguard moved like a blur. Her massive obsidian kite shield was already raised as she took her position at Vahn’s flank.
A second later, Kora dropped from a shattered streetlamp above.
The tiny crimson-haired dragon-girl landed in a crouch. She wiped ash from her cheek and glared at the empty street with her glowing gold eyes.
"Are there snacks out here, Master?" Kora asked telepathically, her tail flicking with aggressive anticipation.
"We are going gardening, Kora," Vahn replied. He walked to the edge of the crater, looking down at the invisible dormant node.
He didn’t draw his Soul-Bound Shadow Blade. He simply raised his right hand, pointing his palm directly at the cracked earth. He tapped into his massive reservoir of hoarded experience points.
"System. Target Dormant Mana Well," Vahn commanded, his voice carrying the heavy resonant authority of a god altering reality. "Override localized spawn timer. Force immediate rendering."[System Notification]
↳ Administrator Permission Granted
↳ 100,000 EXP Consumed
The ground violently trembled. A deafening subterranean crack echoed through the ruined city blocks.
The asphalt shattered completely as a massive geyser of pure brilliant blue liquid mana erupted from the earth.
The sheer purity of the energy washed over them. It instantly cleared the ash from the air and left the scent of fresh rain in its wake.
"By the Founders," Sia breathed. Her silver-grey eyes widened as the liquid mana pooled into a beautiful glowing basin of crystallized stone.
"We aren’t finished," Vahn smiled. He turned his gaze slightly to the left, locating a second dormant node buried beneath a collapsed skyscraper.
"Target Dormant Mineral Vein. Override spawn timer. Apply Class Modifier 10,000x Experience Converter. Multiply base yield."
[System Notification]
↳ 500,000 EXP Consumed
↳ Initiating hyper-condensed structural synthesis
The rubble of the skyscraper practically vaporized as a towering jagged spire of solid hyper-dense gold erupted from the bedrock.
It wasn’t just a mine. It was a localized mountain of massive wealth, gleaming brightly in the dim light of the apocalypse.
"That solves our financial deficit," Vahn noted casually, dusting off his hands.
Before they could celebrate, the ground beneath them lurched.
The massive influx of raw pure system data had acted like a beacon. The ash swirling around the intersection violently condensed. It pulled together to form a towering forty-foot monstrosity of jagged concrete and rebar.[Threat Detected]
↳ Name: Corrupted Earth Elemental
↳ Level: 35
The beast roared. It raised a massive fist of solid stone to crush the intruders who had dared to forcefully crack open the earth.
Vahn didn’t even drop into a combat stance. He simply looked at his Vanguard.
"Sia. Good timing. Use this as training." 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞
"With pleasure, Commander," Sia smiled, a fierce predatory expression crossing her face.
She stepped directly into the path of the falling concrete fist. She planted her boots, angled her Mythic-tier obsidian shield, and met the Level 35 boss head-on.
The impact cracked the street beneath her, but Sia didn’t yield an inch. The shield absorbed the kinetic force, glowed white-hot, and violently rebounded the energy as a massive wave of thermal plasma.
The Earth Elemental’s arm instantly slagged into molten rock. The beast shrieked, stumbling backward.
"Mine!" Kora hissed.
The dragon-girl launched herself into the air, unhinging her jaw.
She inhaled sharply, creating a localized gravitational vacuum that violently stripped the Elemental of its foundational code.
The massive stone boss crumbled into a shower of blue pixels, instantly swallowed by the tiny girl.
Kora landed gracefully, letting out a loud satisfied burp. "Crunchy. But acceptable."
Vahn chuckled, turning back toward the White City. "Problem solved. Let’s go tell Hana she has a new budget to balance."
