Chapter 155: Riona Arrival.

Bang!

The battle on the frozen plain raged on, utterly indifferent to the incoming figure racing toward their position from the horizon.

The Undead King Kong Ape was struck squarely by the massive skeleton’s heavy club and sent flying through the air.

A chilling, guttural cry escaped its throat as its enormous body crashed across the ice, carving a deep trench in the frozen surface.

For a brief moment, the colossal skeleton seemed to revel in its advantage.

But its joy was short-lived.

The Undead War Tide Lion lunged from the side and slashed its razor-sharp claws across the skeleton’s torso.

Bone splintered under the force of the blow, and the massive skeleton staggered backward.

Before it could regain its footing, the Undead Royalty Stonewall closed in.

The Black Ember Blade descended like torrential rain, cleaving downward with merciless precision.

It struck the skeleton’s leg.

Spiderweb-like cracks spread rapidly across the bone, which trembled on the verge of shattering.

The massive skeleton emitted a furious, hollow cry and retaliated by swinging its club in a wide arc.

Among the three undead, the Royalty Stonewall was undoubtedly the most terrifying. Its strikes decisive and lethal.

Before the skeleton’s counterattack could connect, the Undead King Kong Ape reentered the fray from the left flank.

Its massive fists hammered forward in rapid succession.

Punch after punch rained down, each impact producing a thunderous boom that echoed across the plain.

The wind howled violently around them.

Cracks in the frozen ground widened and spread in all directions.

The massive skeleton raised its club defensively to block the relentless barrage from the King Kong Ape. However, in doing so, it left its right flank exposed.

The Undead Royalty Stonewall seized the opportunity instantly.

Bang! Bang!

Pinned at the center of three converging forces, the skeleton was overwhelmed.

The Black Ember Blade crashed down once more, tearing through bone with devastating force. Fragments scattered into the air like deadly shrapnel.

Watching his most powerful summon being dismantled piece by piece, Fenric felt his heart skip a beat.

"No!" he screamed hoarsely.

"This can’t be happening!"

He shook his head frantically as fear and panic overtook his pale face. This colossal skeleton was the strongest entity he could possibly summon.

Even maintaining its existence exacted a tremendous toll on his already damaged soul. He could feel the strain gnawing at him relentlessly.

Summoning another creature of similar strength was out of the question. This was his ultimate card, his final defense.

And now, that final defense was being crushed before his eyes.

Boom! 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞

The Undead War Tide Lion delivered a crushing blow that sent the massive skeleton hurtling across the battlefield.

It slammed heavily into the frozen ground in the distance, creating a massive crater upon impact.

The tremor rippled outward, shaking the plain.

Just as the three undead prepared to deliver the finishing strike the newcomer arrived.

A colossal cobra burst into view, its massive body undulating across the ice with terrifying speed.

Its scales gleamed ominously under the pale light reflecting off the frozen plain.

Standing atop the cobra’s head was a young woman wearing a cold, confident smile.

Her gaze locked onto Thoren, and a deadly killing intent flashed within her eyes.

Thoren remained unmoved. He did not even acknowledge her presence. Instead, he acted.

Without hesitation, he summoned the Undead Storm Tyrant Crocodile.

The moment the massive undead crocodile emerged from the undead space, the air itself seemed to tremble.

A suffocating pressure spread across the battlefield.

Everyone present inhaled sharply.

"How many powerful undead servants does he even possess?" Fenric and the members of the Knight Order wondered simultaneously, disbelief flooding their minds.

Three Level 18 undead were already overwhelming.

Now, faced with the soul-stirring presence of the Undead Storm Tyrant, their hearts trembled uncontrollably.

"Kill," Thoren commanded calmly.

There was no need for idle words.

Hiss!

The colossal cobra was a Level 19 beast.

Yet, it displayed a flicker of apprehension in its serpentine eyes when confronted by the Undead Storm Tyrant.

Standing atop the cobra’s head, Riona felt her heart plummet.

This is the envoy...

How is this possible?

How did he defeat the envoy?

Her thoughts spiraled into chaos.

To her, the Beast Envoy had always been an invincible existence.

She had convinced herself that the envoy must have been away on a mission when their hideout was destroyed.

But now, seeing the envoy transformed into an undead servant shattered that illusion completely.

The Undead Storm Tyrant charged forward with savage momentum, each step causing the ice beneath it to crack.

Though shaken, Riona forced herself to regain her composure and commanded her cobra to attack.

Even if I couldn’t defeat it while it was alive, it is undead now. I refuse to believe I can’t subdue it.

Hiss!

The cobra surged forward and lashed its enormous tail like a whip. The air howled as the strike tore through space with terrifying force.

Watching the deadly tail descend, the members of the Knight Order felt as though the world itself were ending.

Fear gnawed at their hearts, and their breathing became erratic.

"Chain Combo," Thoren ordered calmly.

While others recoiled in fear, he issued precise commands.

The Undead Storm Tyrant roared and charged directly into the oncoming tail strike.

The air vibrated violently as the two forces collided head-on.

Boom!

A thunderous explosion echoed across the frozen plain.

The aftershock was so powerful that the three Knight Order members were flung from atop the Undead Iron Roar Komodo, crashing heavily onto the ice.

Thoren himself was forced to take several steps backward. His expression tightened for a split second before returning to its usual calm composure.

Fenric lost his balance entirely and fell onto the ice in a daze.

Riona fared far worse.

The overwhelming shockwave hurled her hundreds of meters away. She slammed into the frozen ground and spat out a mouthful of blood.

Howl!

The Undead Storm Tyrant skidded backward a few feet. However, the fierce, blazing soul fire burning within its hollow eye sockets revealed that it remained far from finished.

Whoosh!

In an instant, it vanished from its position and reappeared near the cobra, which was still struggling to regain its balance.

After just one exchange, several of the cobra’s scales had already been torn away.

Sensing imminent danger, the serpent opened its massive jaws wide, lunging forward for a lethal bite.

Such a terrifying maw might have instilled dread in the living.

But the dead knew no fear.

The Undead Storm Tyrant sidestepped the attack with unnatural agility, reappearing at the cobra’s right flank.

Then the counterattack began.

Bang! Bang!

Each punch landed like a jackhammer, delivering overwhelming force into the serpent’s body.

The cobra hissed in agony and attempted to retreat, its movements growing frantic.

Whoosh!

The Undead Storm Tyrant leaped upward and landed heavily on the serpent’s back, its feet digging deep into the scales for balance.

And then, the judgment began.
