Global Survival: I Have Endless Skeletons-Chapter 165: Level 19 Crawling Horror.

Thoren studied the notifications that floated before his eyes, their pale light reflecting faintly across his calm expression.
The rewards did not surprise him.
The battle against the Starved Drakes had been fierce, and the creatures themselves were far from weak.
Given the number he and his undead legion had slain, the amount of experience gained was perfectly reasonable.
However, another series of notifications quickly appeared, drawing his attention.
[Undead Servant Level Up!]
[Level Up!]
[Level Up!]
[...]
The messages continued to cascade one after another.
Thoren’s eyes narrowed slightly as he reviewed the results.
More than half of his undead elite squad had leveled up, advancing to Level 18 undead servants.
Only a few of the remaining elites were left behind, and even they were merely a handful of experience points away from breaking through to Level 18.
Aside from that, the Undead Royalty Stonewall was also nearing its own level-up.
"What a pleasant surprise," Thoren murmured softly, a faint smile tugging at the corner of his lips.
He had not expected such a rapid improvement.
The Shatter Sky was an extremely dangerous place, but it was also an extraordinary hunting ground.
As long as he survived the dangers lurking within it, his strength would grow at a terrifying pace.
With the sudden rise in the power of his undead legion, the oppressive threat of the Shatter Sky seemed to lessen slightly.
Of course, that did not mean the place had suddenly become safe.
But every increase in strength tilted the balance a little more in his favor.
"As long as we continue to grow stronger..." Thoren muttered thoughtfully.
"...it will only be a matter of time."
A confident grin slowly spread across his face.
"Seven Level 18 undead servants."
For a necromancer at his current level, commanding such a powerful undead squad was already an impressive feat.
Yet Thoren did not allow himself to become complacent.
His gaze shifted away from the undead legion before him and settled on his personal status panel.
"Just as I thought..." he said quietly.
His grin deepened.
[Level: 18 (55,543 / 129,000) + (50,000) → (105,543 / 129,000)]
He had only just arrived in the Shatter Sky, and already he was more than halfway to leveling up again.
The speed of growth here was astonishing.
Of course, that came with a price.
The creatures that inhabited the Shatter Sky were far more dangerous than anything he had encountered before.
If someone lacked the strength to survive, they would not grow stronger here.
They would simply die.
Still, Thoren felt no fear.
Only excitement.
The faster he grew, the closer he came to achieving his goals.
Filled with renewed confidence, Thoren began reorganizing his undead forces.
He withdrew the weaker undead beasts back into the summoning space, leaving only the elite undead squad on the battlefield.
The remaining forces now consisted of the elite undead servants, the newly summoned Undead Starved Drakes, and three Level 18 undead servants alongside the powerful Undead Storm Tyrant.
Even without the weaker undead beasts, the strength of this legion was still formidable.
"With this lineup," Thoren said quietly, "I doubt any ordinary beast will pose a threat."
His eyes lifted toward the direction from which the Starved Drakes had previously emerged.
A blazing fighting spirit flashed within them.
Without hesitation, he mounted the Undead Iron Roar Komodo.
The massive undead creature let out a low rumble as it shifted beneath him, its enormous body brimming with raw strength.
"Move forward," Thoren commanded calmly.
His undead legion immediately began marching deeper into the crater.
Standing atop his mount, Thoren carefully observed his surroundings.
The gravity of the Shatter Sky pressed heavily against his body, constantly weighing down his movements.
Above him, the sky looked broken and unnatural.
Thin streaks of dim starlight leaked through enormous cracks in the heavens, casting eerie rays of pale light across the desolate landscape.
The entire environment felt wrong.
Oppressive.
As they ventured deeper into the crater, strange obsidian pillars began rising from the ground.
They were tall, jagged, and completely unnatural.
Each pillar looked like a massive shard of black glass driven violently into the earth.
More unsettling, however, was something else Thoren noticed.
The crater itself seemed to pulse.
It was subtle.
But unmistakable.
The ground expanded and contracted slowly, almost like the faint breathing of a living creature.
As if the entire pit were alive.
Just the thought of it sent a cold shiver down his spine.
Every hair on Thoren’s body stood on end.
"...What kind of place is this?" he murmured.
Even he could not hide the unease creeping into his mind.
The deeper they traveled, the stranger the environment became.
Soon, they passed through rows of towering obsidian pillars.
Beyond them lay enormous black rocks scattered across the terrain.
Each rock possessed an unnatural shape and size.
Some looked like twisted towers.
Others resembled jagged fortresses rising from the ground.
They were far too irregular to be natural formations.
Thoren narrowed his eyes as his undead legion approached the strange rocks.
Then, a soul-rending shriek suddenly tore through the air.
Before Thoren could react, something burst out from the shadows of the rocks.
Bang!
The Undead Royalty Stonewall was instantly struck by a terrifying force.
Its massive body was launched through the air before crashing violently into one of the obsidian pillars. 𝐟𝐫𝕖𝗲𝘄𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝕧𝐞𝚕.𝕔𝕠𝐦
Stone fragments exploded outward from the impact.
Thoren’s eyes widened slightly.
He had barely seen the attack.
The creature’s speed was astonishing.
A grotesque monster crawled across the ground before them.
Its elongated body was supported by dozens of blade-like limbs that stabbed into the earth with unsettling precision.
Two glowing violet eyes twitched constantly within its distorted head.
