God-Tier Fishing System-Chapter 705
"The window of opportunity lasts for two to three years, and there’s still some time before it officially opens."
"Running around aimlessly is boring anyway. Let me find some entertainment here," the young man interrupted the two behind him.
The two bodyguards, both Perfect Supremes, said nothing more. They stood silently behind their master.
"Tiberan, time is almost up. Only five breaths left."
Glacien extended his hand and began the countdown.
"Four."
"Three."
"Two."
...
"Young Master Ethan, you’re going to owe me a massive favor for this."
The young man pulled back his hood, revealing a handsome face. A golden longsword appeared smoothly in his hand, ready to strike at any moment.
This was none other than the friend Ethan had made back in the Blood Tavern of Noble Sun City. The Ninth Prince of the Great Verdant Lantern Empire, Zeon.
Glacien’s countdown ticked away.
His expression was utterly indifferent. His voice settled on the final word.
"One."
He waved his hand lightly, like an executioner giving the order.
Boom.
A continuous string of explosions erupted like firecrackers.
The eight Perfect Supremes behind Glacien simultaneously unleashed their auras. Terrifying fluctuations of divine power swept outward in every direction.
In an instant, the world changed color. The earth trembled. The canopy of night collapsed and shattered into runic fragments that drifted slowly downward.
The shockwaves blasted outward, tearing the surrounding space into fragmented shreds.
Multicolored divine power unfurled across the night sky, blotting out the heavens.
The immense divine might radiating from within caused spectators dozens of miles away to feel suffocated.
They hurriedly retreated, mobilizing the spiritual energy within their bodies or summoning life-saving spiritual treasures to block the scattering shockwaves.
"Everyone, defend to the death. Do not retreat," Tiberan ordered.
The people behind him nodded. Fierce and glaring, they erupted with full strength and roared with thunderous voices.
"To the death. We will not retreat."
Though inferior to the Moonfall Clan in both numbers and strength, their imposing aura was exceptionally fierce. It did not lose out to the Moonfall Clan in the slightest.
"Tiberan, I gave you a chance. Do not blame me for being ruthless."
"If you must blame someone, blame yourself for failing to see the situation clearly, for putting up stubborn resistance, and for insisting on dragging your entire clan to their deaths," Glacien said coldly.
Before his words even finished, Wilford launched the first attack. The other seven elders surged forward behind him, charging toward Tiberan and his group.
"Leave Wilford, Helena, and the Moonfall Clan’s Chief Commander Jason to me. I leave the rest to all of you," Tiberan gritted his teeth as Wilford closed in.
He was also a Perfect Supreme, but he hadn’t been in the realm long. Compared to Wilford, his combat strength was slightly inferior.
But he couldn’t afford to care about that now.
As Clan Head, he had to step forward. Even knowing full well his strength was no match, he absolutely could not retreat.
"Power of the Ancestors, Ancestral Pattern, manifest."
"Bloodline power, fully open."
"Blood Essence, burn."
Tiberan rapidly formed hand seals.
His aura skyrocketed. Facing three Perfect Supremes, he didn’t dare hold anything back.
He unleashed his full firepower from the start, utilizing every method available to push his strength to its absolute limit.
Only by doing this could he hold the three of them off for even a moment.
"Tiberan, since you refuse to surrender, then hand over your life to this old man."
Wilford snorted coldly and pushed his divine power to the maximum.
Icy divine power permeated the air. The temperature of the surrounding space plummeted. A razor-sharp ice awl condensed in his hand.
Ever since Seventh Elder’s fall, anger had been building in his chest. The Star of Calamity had yet to appear, and he had found no outlet for his fury.
Today presented an excellent opportunity.
Since the Star of Calamity wasn’t showing up, he would vent his anger on the Riverborn Clan and soothe his irritable mood.
"Wilford, don’t be too confident."
"Your Moonfall Clan might be very strong right now, but our Riverborn Clan isn’t made of mud. If you want to swallow us, it won’t be that easy."
"Today, I, Tiberan, will make your Moonfall Clan shed a layer of skin."
An azure battle halberd appeared in his hands as he spoke.
The moment his words fell, surging lightning crawled all over the weapon.
Rumble.
Heavenly lightning descended from the sky and struck the halberd.
This was clearly no ordinary item. A Spiritual Weapon at the peak of the Holy Grade. Judging from its texture and the power of the lightning radiating from it, it vaguely possessed the basic form of a Divine Artifact.
"A Peak Holy Grade Spiritual Weapon. The Heavenly Thunder Battle Halberd."
"I heard this weapon was inscribed with several powerful inscriptions and has undergone spirit refinement six times. If it could be reforged and refined by a powerful artificer, it might just become a Divine Artifact."
"With the boost of a divine weapon, you might actually be able to hold the three of us off."
"But unfortunately, you will never get that chance."
Wilford sneered. Ice awl radiating freezing divine power, he closed in on Tiberan in an instant and thrust the spike straight at his face.
"Come and fight."
"Today, I want to see just how strong your Moonfall Clan truly is."
"Do you really think my Riverborn Clan is completely powerless to fight back?" Tiberan roared, sweeping the battle halberd horizontally.
Burning blood essence sent a faint blood-red mist swirling around him. The lightning divine power on the halberd deepened in color.
Crackle.
The ear-piercing sound of electric arcs tore through the air. Razor-sharp lightning intent, as large as a full moon, exploded in mid-air and swallowed Wilford, Helena, and Jason whole.
Whoosh.
Smoke churned from the collision of lightning and icy divine power. Three figures dashed out from within.
"Hehe. Somewhat interesting."
"Tiberan, I acknowledge your strength for now. You haven’t disappointed the three of us," Wilford laughed.
"This makes it much more interesting." Jason’s mouth curved slightly. He crossed his arms, a mocking smile on his face.
In his eyes, Tiberan was nothing more than prey. The entire Riverborn Clan was a meal laid out on the Moonfall Clan’s plate.
They weren’t the least bit worried about whether other factions would intervene.
