Chapter 625: Diamond, I am Back

"Keke... since I have taken care of your weak husband, you must be happy, right?"

After killing Golden Horn, Blackfang chuckled, his gaze filled with naked lust as it fell upon Diamond Horn.

"Goldy..."

Seeing Golden Horn’s lifeless body crash onto the ground, Diamond Horn felt all the strength drain from her legs.

She collapsed to her knees beside him, trembling hands reaching out as tears streamed uncontrollably down her face.

His eyes were still open, staring blankly at the darkened sky.

"Y-you promised..." her voice broke as she pressed her forehead against his chest. "You promised we would protect the tribe together..."

There was no response.

Only cold silence.

Her shoulders shook as muffled sobs escaped her throat, her tears soaking into Golden Horn’s bloodstained fur.

For a brief moment, the proud protector of the Stonehorn Bull Tribe looked fragile—like a beast that had lost its soul.

"Keke... what a touching sight."

Blackfang folded his arms, watching the scene with amusement. "But crying won’t bring him back. If anything, you should thank me. At least he died quickly."

Diamond Horn’s fingers clenched tightly around the blood-soaked ground.

Slowly, she lifted her head.

The sorrow in her eyes vanished, replaced by blazing fury.

"You..." Her voice was hoarse, yet filled with killing intent. "I will tear you apart."

She staggered to her feet, her horns trembling as a violent aura surged around her.

The full power of the Quasi-Soul Transformation Realm Cultivator fully exploded from her body, making the ground beneath her crack.

"Oh?" Blackfang raised an eyebrow, clearly entertained. "Still standing? Interesting."

However, she no longer bothered to listen to Blackfang as she charged at him.

’Boom!’

Her fist slammed forward with all her remaining strength, but Blackfang casually sidestepped, appearing behind her in an instant.

’Bang!’

A single strike landed on her back, sending her crashing into the ground.

"Too slow." Blackfang clicked his tongue. "You might have the same cultivation as me; however, there has not been a single fight where a minotaur won against a Werewolf of the same level... keke."

Diamond Horn coughed out blood as she struggled to rise, her vision blurring.

Even though minotaurs have unparalleled raw strength, if they can’t land a proper hit on their enemies, it is useless.

So, minotaurs have never won against Moonfang Wolves, not even once in the entire history of the Feral Mountain Realm.

’Step’

Blackfang stepped closer, his eyes narrowing as his voice dropped into a cold whisper.

"As long as you offer yourself to me and satisfy me, I will let you live."

The words stabbed Diamond Horn deeper than any blade.

"Y-YOU...!" Diamond Horn’s eyes burned with hatred. "In your dreams. I will die rather than become your toy."

Blackfang stared at her for a moment before bursting into laughter.

"Keke... admirable." He licked his lips. "But pointless."

The only thing Diamond Horn had ever loved in this world was her husband. Now that he was gone, she had neither the strength to take revenge nor the will to live under her enemy’s humiliation.

There was no hesitation in her eyes.

’As a Stonehorn Bull, I would rather die than become your plaything.’

’Since the Origin Spirit has awakened, even without me, there is nothing he could do about it. Moreover, it won’t be long before the Origin Spirit nurtures new protectors... even stronger ones.’

For the first time, Diamond Horn felt no fear toward death.

She lifted her head and looked straight into Blackfang’s eyes.

"Blackfang," she said coldly, "remember one thing. The Supreme God will definitely come back and avenge us."

She fully believed that Ethan was a Supreme God, and for a Supreme God, there is no such thing as ’Death’.

So, she knew that even if she couldn’t do anything to Blackfang, Ethan would return to make him pay for his deeds.

"Really?" Blackfang scoffed. "Keke... this is the biggest joke I have heard in my entire life."

Seeing her quietly gathering her remaining strength, Blackfang’s smile widened as he realised what Diamond Horn was planning to do.

"Do you think I will let you die that easily?" His eyes gleamed with twisted excitement. "I have waited for this moment for hundreds of years. Finally, I can vent all my pent-up desires... keke."

A pale moonlight suddenly erupted from his body, and Diamond Horn’s body stiffened instantly.

’What...? Why can’t I move?’

Her limbs refused to obey her will as the moonlight wrapped around her like invisible chains.

’Am I going to...’

Despair flickered through her thoughts as Blackfang stepped closer, his shadow looming over her.

"It is time to enjoy myself... keke."

’Wooo’

He tilted his head back and let out a long, savage howl that merged with the Ancient Wolf Howl echoing from the mountain behind him.

He was in a great mood today, as so many good things were happening to him.

First, the Origin Spirit of his mountain was finally awakened.

Second, he got some sort of Godly Artifact that has the ability to imprison the Void Feral Demons.

Lastly, the most important thing, he was able to capture the lady whom he had desired for a long time.

’Swiish’

But just as his hand was about to reach her, a golden silhouette abruptly appeared between them.

’BOOM—!’

Before Blackfang could even react, his body exploded backwards, smashing into the ground more than a dozen meters away as the earth shattered beneath him.

The moonlight vanished instantly, letting Diamond Horn regain her movements.

"Godly?"

Diamond Horn’s eyes widened in disbelief as she stared at the familiar golden figure standing silently before her.

"Diamond, I am back."

It was none other than her husband, Golden Horn, who miraculously came back to life.

What’s more, somehow, he seemed to have become even more powerful.

’T-this... you... you have reached the Quasi-Soul Transformation Realm?’

She was overexcited with the return of her husband, but when she sensed the aura emitted from him, she was over the moon as she jumped into his arms.

"Y-you... how did you come back to life?"

Looking at Golden Horn, Blackfang was shocked at how he could return to life.

What’s more, when he saw Diamond Horn hugging him, Blackfang became furious as he coughed a mouthful of black blood.

"I don’t know how you are still alive after getting pierced by my claw."

Blackfang wiped the blood as he stood up with blood-red eyes. "Since I killed you once, I can kill you again."

[Burst of Moon Blades]

’Swiish’

As soon as he finished his words, Blackfang released sharp blades at the minotaur couple.

"Goldy, it’s the Moonfang Wolf Tribe’s strongest—"

"Diamond, don’t worry about those. They can’t do anything to me."

However, Golden Horn interrupted her and assured her, "It is finally time for me to protect you. So, stay back and enjoy the show."

Saying these words, Golden Horn turned towards the incoming Moon Blades, fully shielding Diamond Horn.

’H-he... how long was he practising saying these words to me?’

Diamond Horn could not help but feel happy at her husband’s words.

’But why is he not using any of his skills? Don’t tell me he is planning to use his bare body to block them?’

However, she quickly became anxious.

’Boom’

In the next second, she saw dozens of powerful moon blades landing on Golden Horn’s body, but not even a scratch was left behind.

’Swiish’

She was shocked, but before she could praise Golden Horn, she saw Blackfang appear right beside Golden Horn with his special skill, the Blackclaw.

"With my speed, there is no way you can dodge—"

However, before Blackfang could finish his words, Golden Horn casually caught Blackfang’s Blackclaw and muttered,

"I am not planning to dodge either."
