[God’s Dantian: 3706 / 4000 units of God Essence]
’What the....’
Ethan was shocked by the series of system notifications regarding the full loyalty of the entire Moonfang Wolf Tribe.
For the Moonfang Wolf Tribe members, who were very active in those activities, the [Curse of Impotence] was more life-threatening than an actual death threat.
So, the moment the Origin Spirit announced it, there was no longer any hesitation from the tribe members, and they instantly swore their full loyalty to Golden Horn.
’This wolf spirit is more cunning than I expected.’
Even though Ethan didn’t have a good initial impression of the Wolf Spirit, he felt it was really good at doing what it did.
’Swiish’
The space in front of Ethan distorted slightly as a small figure emerged from thin air.
The wolf spirit appeared before him, its once arrogant posture completely gone. It lowered its head respectfully and spoke in a solemn voice,
"Supreme God, I have completed your mission."
Ethan glanced at the tiny wolf pup before him and nodded lightly.
"Good work."
He didn’t hesitate to praise it.
Hearing those words, the wolf spirit’s body trembled slightly—not from fear, but from excitement.
Being acknowledged by a Supreme God was something it had never even dared to imagine before, especially after what it did when they first met.
’This wolf spirit is more cunning than I expected. But it works for me now. So, there is no need to worry about anything.’
Even though Ethan didn’t have a good initial impression of the wolf spirit, he had to admit that it was extremely efficient in its work.
It understood fear, and it knew how to use fear better than anyone else.
"Now, it is time for the final Feral Origin Spirit."
Ethan gave a few brief orders to the wolf spirit regarding the management of the Moonfang Wolf Tribe; however, he didn’t go into depth as he believed the Wolf Spirit was far more capable in such things.
Even those brief orders from Ethan, the wolf spirit accepted everything without question.
Soon after, Ethan left Wolf Mountain along with the two minotaurs.
...
After two hours,
Even though there were only three Feral Mountains in the Feral Mountain Realm, each of them was vast. Even at their full speed, it took them two full hours to reach the third mountain.
Eagle Mountain.
The territory of the Skyclaw Eagle Tribe.
From a distance, towering cliffs pierced the clouds, sharp stone peaks resembling blades pointing toward the sky. Powerful winds roared endlessly around the mountain, carrying sharp killing intent.
Ethan stopped at the edge of the territory.
"Let’s begin."
Without wasting any time, Ethan started working on imprisoning the Void Feral Demons surrounding Eagle Mountain.
Despite what happened at Wolf Mountain, he followed the exact same method.
Because it was effective.
’Even from outside, if I release all the Elite Void Feral Demons along with thousands of Void Feral Demons, the Eagle Spirit will learn its lesson in case it acts like the wolf spirit.’
If the Origin Spirit of Eagle Mountain dared to be ungrateful after completing its full awakening, Ethan already knew how to teach it a lesson.
Earlier, at Wolf Mountain, he had only released ten percent of the Void Feral Demons, and it made the Wolf Spirit let go of its arrogance.
If he released all of them, even the protective barrier of Eagle Mountain wouldn’t last long.
So, Ethan wasn’t worried at all.
’Swiish’
’Swiish’
’Rawrrr’
’Grr’
The Godly Demon Prison activated once more, and wherever flashes of light erupted from the Godly Artifact, Void Feral Demons vanished instantly—dragged screaming into the endless prison.
[The host has imprisoned 220 Rank 1 Void Feral Demons]
[The host has imprisoned 100 Rank 2 Void Feral Demons]
[The host has imprisoned ...]
.
.
.
’Huh?’
System notifications echoed endlessly in Ethan’s mind; however, Ethan frowned slightly.
"Why are there fewer Void Feral Demons here compared to the other two Feral Mountains?"
Even though Ethan had yet to fully circle Eagle Mountain, the difference was already apparent.
Something was off.
At Stonehorn Bull Mountain and Wolf Mountain, Void Feral Demons had been swarming endlessly, their numbers dense enough to blot out the surroundings.
But here, around Eagle Mountain, the demonic presence felt noticeably thinner.
Still, Ethan did not stop.
Instead, he continued imprisoning them while becoming extra cautious of his surroundings.
After all, he had already experienced an assassination once. Blackfang’s attack had taught him a lesson to never lower his guard, even when everything seemed to be going smoothly.
’Rawrrr—!’
’Grrr—!’
Flashes of light continued to erupt from the Godly Demon Prison as Void Feral Demons vanished one after another.
Ethan moved steadily, his senses fully spread out.
In less than one hour, he completed an entire circle around Eagle Mountain.
Every Void Feral Demon in the surrounding region had been captured.
However, when Ethan finally checked the total number, his eyes narrowed.
’There are fewer than fifty percent of Void Feral Demons here compared to the other two Feral Mountains.’
If the difference had been ten or even twenty percent, Ethan wouldn’t have cared.
But more than fifty percent? That was impossible to ignore, and his expression grew serious.
’What’s more... the other mountains each had three Elite Void Feral Demons surrounding them, whereas here, there is only one.’
The two missing Elite Void Feral Demons were the biggest problem.
’Where did they go?’
Elite Void Feral Demons weren’t creatures that could simply disappear without a trace.
They were powerful and extremely dangerous.
Just as Ethan was deeply pondering this issue,
’Rumble—’
’Rumble—’
The entire Eagle Mountain suddenly began to shake violently.
The ground trembled, and the air screamed as a vast, ancient pressure descended from the peak like a collapsing sky.
’Screeeeeeech—!!!’
A powerful, ear-piercing eagle cry tore through the heavens, carrying with it an overwhelming will that shook Ethan’s soul.
Ethan’s eyes brightened instantly because he was worried that, because of the missing Void Feral Demons, the Eagle Spirit wouldn’t be able to complete its full awakening.
So, when he saw the almost familiar scene before him, he was happy.
’Let’s wait.’
Ethan quickly suppressed the excitement in his eyes and steadied his breathing.
He had seen this scene twice already, so he knew better than to rush.
Alongside him, the two minotaurs stood silently, their massive bodies unmoving as they patiently waited.
’Screech—’
The cry echoed again, sharper and more domineering than before.
The rumbling of Eagle Mountain intensified as ancient runes faintly lit up across its surface. Invisible streams of energy surged upward, gathering toward the peak like rivers returning to the sea.
The winds howled violently, and clouds spiralled.
The sky itself seemed to bend.
After a few minutes, the tremors gradually subsided, and the pressure that blanketed the mountain receded.
’Swiish’
Once everything had settled, a small figure descended from the sky and appeared directly in front of Ethan.
It was a tiny eagle spirit. Its feathers shimmered with faint golden and azure light, and its eyes were clear and pure, reflecting wisdom far beyond its size.
Unlike the wolf pup, there was no arrogance, no killing intent, and no hostility in its gaze.
The tiny eagle spirit folded its wings respectfully and bowed its head.
"Thank you, Human, for clearing all the Void Feral Demons around my mountain," it said sincerely.
"I will forever be grateful to you."
Before Ethan could even open his mouth, the eagle spirit continued without hesitation.
"Without your help, my awakening would have been delayed indefinitely. This debt... I will never forget."
Hearing those words, Ethan unconsciously let out a long breath.
’It is a good Origin Spirit that avoided wasting my time and effort.’
For the first time since arriving at Eagle Mountain, the tension in his body eased.
Even though Ethan had been fully prepared to teach this Origin Spirit a lesson if it turned out to be ungrateful like the wolf spirit—
If possible, he honestly wanted to avoid that entire process.
So, when he heard the eagle spirit’s sincere gratitude, he immediately categorised it as a good one.
Since the atmosphere was right, Ethan didn’t beat around the bush.
"In exchange for my help in your awakening," Ethan said calmly, "I want you to acknowledge me as your master."
The words fell plainly, with no threats or pressure.
Just a straightforward exchange.
But the tiny eagle spirit froze.
Its wings trembled slightly as it lifted its head to look at Ethan.
"T-this..." It hesitated, and then, with visible struggle in its eyes, it lowered its head once more.
"Sorry, Benefactor Human," the eagle spirit said apologetically, "I can’t do it."
The moment those words left its mouth, Ethan frowned, as he was not expecting the direct rejection.
