Chapter 675: Chapter 385: Without You, I’m Not Important (Part 2)

"This person, I am the village head here!"

Surrounded by a group of trembling young villagers, the burly, muscular old village head, despite his slightly aged appearance, had to stand up.

Although he was the strongest in the village, he truly did not wish to confront this Dragon Rider, because the other party was simply not human.

Standing over three meters tall with a humanoid form, upon approach, one could see the other’s arm covered with Scale Patterns, thicker than his own thighs. Such a monster wouldn’t need the Flying Dragon behind him. He alone could slaughter the village and likely do so without even catching his breath.

"You are the village head? Very well, I am here to convey the decree from the Holy Dragon Emperor. As of today, your village is under the jurisdiction of the Holy Dragon Emperor. Do you have any objections?"

The Dragon Rider looked down at the village head, directly announcing the rule and governance over this place.

"None."

Though he did not even know what the so-called Holy Dragon was, the village head was quite perceptive of the situation. The black tide overhead continued to flow, in every direction he looked, it seemed endless.

"Anyone with objections can speak up!"

The Dragon-man’s gaze once again scanned the village, yet the Dragon Tide overhead continued to surge, leaving no one daring to utter a single extra sound.

"It seems none of you have any objections. Then, from today onwards, this place shall be under the grace of the Holy Dragon’s glory, and you must abide by the Holy Dragon Code, not violating any of its decrees."

After throwing down this sentence, the knight did not linger a moment longer, mounted the compliant Flying Dragon’s back, ascended to the sky, leaving only a flag in his wake.

"What is the Holy Dragon?"

"Who cares what it is? Want to live?"

"Of course!"

"Then hurry up and hang this flag!"

The old village head grabbed his cane and struck the young hunters beside him who had trouble with their legs, ordering them to hang the flag left by the Dragon Rider at the highest point in the village, ensuring those formidable members of the Dragon Clan could see it.

"Just hang it up?"

"Don’t know!"

Not until that evening did the villagers realize the purpose of the flag; a group of Dragon-men arrived, their appearance more peaceful than the daytime knights, similar to theirs, yet possessing Dragon Species traits.

"We are here to guide your production and life, and to elaborate on the articles of the code."

The Dragon-men who arrived naturally belonged to the Steel Starfall Legion, whose duty was to facilitate enlightenment.

Though the mountain villagers did not understand why digging ditches and building toilets related to guiding production and life, under the Dragon-man’s authority, no one dared question, nor did they dare slack off, as the Dragon-men did not allow those capable of labor to be lazy.

This scene of enlightenment spread across the villages and settlements surrounding Elton Great Forest as the Dragon horde flew overhead.

These places, without any defensible strength, relying solely on young villagers and hunters to guard against wild beasts, lost the will to resist upon witnessing the power of the Dragon horde, surrendering directly when the Dragon-men arrived.

Of course, there was some resistance; cities with populations above a hundred thousand, encountering the sudden arrival of the Dragon horde, often produced some who defied reason.

However, this resistance was but a mere spark against the surging Dragon Tide, easily extinguished by the mere breeze.

Within just one day, the suddenly appearing Dragon horde seized or rather occupied the seven nations around Elton Great Forest, as the battles fought and the resistance encountered were indeed scarce. 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚

After implementing occupation, the first task for the auxiliary legion responsible for reconstructing order was to demand local citizens conduct sanitation reforms, simply put, to dig toilets.

Even in the presence of much misunderstanding and complaints, the Dragon-men disdainfully ignored explaining further to these ignorant folks, forcefully issuing demands, and imposing severe penalties on those who litter or excrete indiscriminately.

Many noble classes who pledged loyalty thought this sudden Dragon Clan presence was testing their obedience; nobles eager to please naturally cooperated fully.

"This is truly terrible!"

"The ignorance of these natives is simply unbelievable, they are just too stupid!"

"These people can’t understand human language at all; I’ve explained the rationality and necessity of building toilets over and over, yet they still believe it’s a symbol of our oppression and domination."

"Forget it, if they believe it’s oppression, we’ll make it even more thorough!"

"Don’t heed their voices, they are a bunch of incorrigible fools; perhaps their offspring will be better after receiving education."

The Steel Starfall Legion’s assistance in transforming the occupied areas was equally filled with grievances, due to the lack of any education and a lifestyle closer to that of primitive natives, like drinking blood and eating raw meat, communication was incredibly difficult; their low intelligence was beyond imagination.

Upon discovering that rational communication bore no fruit, the legion began violent repression, suppressing whoever disobeyed, ensuring strict implementation of every transformation order they issued.

"Noah, Your Majesty, we have already made contact with the Church Army."

Although the transformation work in the occupied rear areas proceeded vigorously, Noah’s focus was still on advancing the front-line battlefield.

This Plane hosts the Fiery Sun Kingdom, which establishes the Flame Sun Church as the state religion; the nations Noah now occupied were entirely vassals of the Fiery Sun Kingdom.

On the second day after the Dragon Tide appeared, the Flame Sun Sect Country, which worshiped the sole Divine, awoke and began mobilizing large armies to prepare against the Dragon horde.

Now, the vanguard group dispatched by Noah had already clashed with the Kingdom’s Church Army; the scenario on Alviss Continent repeated once more, yet the Dragon-men who achieved a grand debut victory did not relax but became somber.

As this victory was not easy, this Plane’s Fiery Sun Kingdom, in the current Continent, was the undisputed overlord, akin to the Atlas Kingdom in status.

Unlike Atlas Kingdom, with Divine backing, this Kingdom has existed for two thousand years, such deep roots far surpass the Flame Sun Sect Country Noah initially conquered.

Yet despite this, under Noah’s Dragon Tide assault, the Fiery Sun Kingdom’s defense lines kept crumbling until the Divine descended a manifestation.

"Grom, a Divine Descent is underway, go!"

Upon sensing the Divine Descent, Noah sent the Beastman King to the battlefield; for avatars of this level, Noah had lost interest, just letting the eager Beastman King taste the novelty.

When the Beastman King appeared on the battlefield, the initially stalemated Dragon Tide began advancing again; the Divine hoping to confront an Ascender in the Material Realm can’t suffice with merely dispatching a few avatars.

"Noah, come out and face me!"

As the Dragon Tide’s vanguard drove deep into the Fiery Sun Kingdom, the enraged Divine could no longer hold back; He could endure the destruction of one faith foundation, but the significance of a second place was different.

This signified that the still lurking crawler in the Material Realm genuinely wanted to put Him to death.

Under the blazing golden Divine Light, the Ancestral Golden Dragon’s majestic body appeared above the seemingly unstoppable Dragon-man Battle Group,

"Heliers, as a Divine, shouldn’t you pay some attention to your image?"

"Tell me, the terms for withdrawing, what do you want?"

Descending its will, the Flame Sun Sovereign looked down at the battlefield strewn with corpses beneath its blazing golden eyes, each small-looking body represented a pious follower; although their Souls would return to His Divine Country, this also meant His faith in the Mortal World diminished significantly.

"I want to see your Divine Throne fall from the stars."
