Golden Dragon: Six Thousand Years of Empire-Chapter 998 - 546: Swallowing the Epic Alive (Part 2)
Pretender Realm
The Dragon Realm's capacity to accommodate True Gods is the clearest evidence; Noah single-handedly raised the World Rank.
This is certainly because of the supplement of numerous Material Worlds and the Space-Time Realm Continent, but just look at the Shattered Space-Time Realm, and you'll see that after hundreds of thousands of years, it's still just a scatter of sand under unconscious fusion.
Yet under Noah's leadership, in merely a few hundred years, the Dragon Realm integrated all worlds into one, those shattered worlds no longer exist as independent continents or half-planes.
It is precisely because of the possession of such power, combined with the addition of the Lord of the World's rank, that Noah regards many matters lightly, indifferent to the choice of offspring, even leaving them in Heaven is fine.
After all, they are his children, what's wrong with developing in Heaven? Although the gods of Heaven harbor many calculations, so what?
"Go ahead, there's no rush."
Though Iliad mentioned needing some time, it was merely half a year before this God of Dawn and Hope's Divine Country descended from Heaven and relocated into the Mother Realm, even quicker than his sister, the Ice and Wealth Dragon God.
However, the first to relocate their Divine Country wasn't Iliad; before him was his brother, known as the Silent Death God, Lord of Machines, Terramus, and before Terramus, the Divine King Odin had reached an agreement with Noah.
Odin's faith is the foremost doctrine in the Dragon Realm, aside from Noah's, given Noah's permission, Odin's faith developed rapidly within Noah's dominion over a few hundred years, especially while Noah pondered world laws and refrained from much secular intervention.
Today, Odin's followers have already surpassed Noah's, but the superiority is in numbers alone; in terms of quality, Noah, who is graced by the Dragon-men's faith, remains untouchable.
Odin's faith primarily comes from races outside the Dragon Vein; the Dragon-men's bloody massacre and suppression of foreign races somewhat restrain Odin's faith.
Noah knows all this, yet chooses to ignore it; in his world, things naturally proceed according to his rules, violating them warrants punishment, which is just as it should be.
The reason he doesn't intervene is that the Dragon-men effectively handle everything; he sees no need to intervene, which is also his stance.
Regarding having his offspring return to the Dragon Realm to develop their faith also considers restraining Odin's faith; Noah indeed doesn't mind, but he doesn't want to see the emergence of a monotheistic faith; diversified beliefs create prosperity and help prevent certain extreme events.
"There are still too few Divines; Dragon-men should also give birth to Divines."
The positive impact of Divines on the Material World and mundane races is undoubtedly significant; Divine Power is the closest to the power of omnipotence.
Though essentially it can't be equated with Original Power, Divine Power can continually regenerate by converting the Power of Faith, in a sense, it's almost inexhaustible.
A pure white star hangs in the eastern sky, casting soft and bright rays; its enduring light can even penetrate the Secret Realm and certain special obscuring mists, bringing hope to the lost and desperate.
"Another Dragon Son has returned! Odin Your Majesty's faith will be challenged again."
On the storm-swept cathedral Ark, the cardinal with silver shoulders and a red cloak gazes at a suddenly appeared pure white star in the sky, wearing a troubled expression and slight anger,
"That Majesty is too harsh!"
"Even so, what can you do? This hasn't violated the pact the two majesties established initially."
"Dragon Clan!"
Odin's faction is particularly displeased with Noah's offspring's successive returns.
Every Divine who can project power into the Material World has an undeniable influence on the mundane, like the Odin God; even if most Dragon-men still worship Noah, some still fall under influence and turn to worship Odin.
After all, the Dragon-men's group is so vast, and not every Dragon-man gets a response, while those who actively worship are more likely to receive Odin God's attention and gifts.
Such incidents occur among the Dragon-men group, and naturally among Odin's followers; each Divine entering the world divides faith, it's merely a question of how much.
Unfortunately, dissatisfaction can only remain, neither Odin nor their faction can take any action; offspring returning to their father's domain, what harm is there?
Noah does not intend to further intervene in the faith disputes and competitions occurring within his world; as long as He exists, all competition will inevitably be positive, with no transgression of boundaries, all entities, including Odin, must consider His perspective.
"It must be resolved!"
A Sun rises from the increasingly vast and majestic Dragon Realm; it doesn't match the world-shaking shock when Noah initially ascended to Dragon King with ten Suns appearing simultaneously, but when a majestic Dragon King spreads wings flying out from the Sun, its majesty fills the universe, reaching everywhere.
Dragon King patrols the edge
Noah did not gather all his True Body strength, because it's unnecessary; six hundred years of pondering the world laws, though not even a fraction of those Immortal entities, every moment is not wasted.
"Noah!"
Sun Winged Divine Snake
Also an Epic lifeform born from the Sun, superior in birth, comparable at least to Ancestor Dragon, an Ancestor Level lifeform.
Such inherently favored beings, their journey to becoming Epics is not entirely natural, yet they have a much higher success rate than the mundane beings.
But such existence, at this moment, appears exceedingly weak and helpless as he is completely suppressed, although struggling desperately, even causing space-time turbulence affecting billions of miles in the Void, it's futile.
"You can't kill me!"
The Sun Snake roared angrily, clasped in the Dragon King's claws; he could not accept his defeat to be so easily, how long has it been, this Dragon can subdue him already.
"Indeed I can't kill you."
Though Noah completely crushed this Sun Snake in terms of Realm, thoroughly killing him, erasing him, is uncertain; Epic Body's Undying properties are astonishing, far beyond Divines' immortality.
"But this will be your source of pain, not your reason to act in front of me!"
With these words, the previously arrogant Sun Snake saw, to his horror, the Dragon King opening its dragon mouth towards him.
"No!"
The Sun Snake struggled again, but the defeated him couldn't resist the destined fate, thus he was swallowed bite by bite by Noah.
To deal with Undying existences, the best method is sealing, though choosing a world might not completely seal an Epic, Noah opts to use his belly as the seal.
Swallowing an Epic, the abundant Life Essence instantly sweeps throughout, even unintentionally, but Noah's Dragon King body begins digesting this power root-shared being.
Noah wouldn't completely digest him because once he's completely dead, who knows where this guy might revive.
"Still watching from the shadows? You missed your chance by not acting earlier!"
Noah, having devoured an Epic, didn't stop there; his dragon eyes burst forth with light more intense than the Sun, gazing into the Void's darkness, and suddenly a snake sphere celestial body emerges, the Mother of Ten Thousand Snakes appears again.
"Noah~ I am willing to follow you..."
