Goodbye, Ex-husband! I'm Pregnant with Your Uncle's Child!-Chapter 77 - I’m Fine
77: Chapter 77: I’m Fine
77 -77: I’m Fine
Thomas Sullivan went to Green Auspice Villa, seized by a sudden impulse.
Chloe Sullivan, hearing Thomas Sullivan had come to visit, looked down at her belly, wearing a loose dress today.
“Thomas, what brought you here all of a sudden?
Quite a surprise,” Chloe said with a curved smile in her eyes.
Seeing her rosy complexion, Thomas also felt relieved.
“I thought you might be sad and haggard, so I came to see you specially.”
“What?” she asked, puzzled.
“Mr.
Thompson and Julia Land,” Thomas stated bluntly.
Chloe pressed her lips together, lowering her gaze, “Thomas, I’m doing well.”
She did not elaborate further.
Thomas stood up, looked at her, and said, “You can call me if you need anything.”
Chloe saw Thomas off, watching his car drive away, then turned and went back inside.
Her hand on her stomach.
She pondered over something in her heart.

At the Langston Family, tonight’s dinner was unusually lavish.
“Husband, Julia will transfer the money to the bank tomorrow.”
Grace Land, using the serving chopsticks, tenderly served Cory Langston his favorite dish.
“These past days, you’ve really had it tough outside.”
Cory had always admired Grace’s gentle and caring nature.
He smiled, “You’ve had it tough too.
Let’s invite Julia over for dinner sometime soon.
After all, we’re family.”
Stella also served Grace some food, “Mom, I was childish before.
I thought my sister would take you away from me, but this time, I will apologize to her.”
Victor looked at his mother and sister; he wasn’t as optimistic as they were.
He hadn’t interacted much with Julia, but he knew enough about her personality to know she wasn’t the type to easily come for a family dinner at the Langston’s.
But it was all just talk; whether Julia would come wasn’t really important.

Meanwhile, at Noble Grid Hotel.
Julia Land was patrolling the suite while James Thompson was on the phone, walking at a granny’s pace with her hands behind her back.
There was a kitchen, which seemed unused as she walked in.
There were three bedrooms; she opened each door, looked around, then closed them.
On the living room sofa, James Thompson spoke in a foreign language.
To Julia, it just sounded like gibberish.
Thankfully, his voice was pleasant to hear.
After inspecting the suite, with James still on the phone, she walked over and sat beside him.
She rested her chin on her hand, gazing at his profile.
His handsome features were indeed captivating.
She reached out her hand and playfully pinched his ear.
James cast a glance at Julia, letting her continue without interruption as he kept talking to the person on the other end.
Julia’s hand had left his ear, her fingers tapping playfully on his chest.
James lifted an arm, pulling her into an embrace.
Her nose caught the pleasant scent of pine on him.
In his arms, her hands were a bit unreserved today.
“Little Julia.”
The man stopped his phone conversation, his deep voice warning Julia.
Julia casually ignored his caution.
Today, after receiving a message from Grace and getting off Thomas’s car at the intersection, she had specifically come to the Noble Grid Hotel to wait for James to finish work.
She didn’t know what might happen tomorrow.
Mrs.
Land hadn’t seen her transfer the money and would probably be very upset.
James’s large hand pressed down on Julia’s wandering hand which was teasing his nerves.
His voice on the phone turned a bit colder, and the person on the other end spoke apprehensively.
James covered the phone, moved it away, and whispered close to Julia, “Sit properly.”
Julia’s eyes and smile carried a flirty charm; she nodded.
When the man finally hung up, Julia wasn’t sure.
“What happened today?”
James’s chin rested on her shoulder, his arms wrapped around her waist.
“Because Mr.
Thompson was too handsome on the phone,” Julia squinted her eyes, not telling the truth, “I feel like taking a shower.”
James pinched her chin, turning her head to face him, his eyes locking onto her face.
Julia rolled her eyes at him, “A shower—you’re overthinking it.
Be careful, or you’ll age quickly.”
James could not read anything from her face.
The two of them went to take a shower together, and it was still quite early after they finished.
They snuggled on the sofa watching a movie.
Mainly, Julia was watching, while James kept her company.
“This ghost movie is so scary.”
She pretended to be frightened with an expressionless face, then grasped James’s bathrobe tightly, her slender fingers clutching the fabric.
She continued with her affected tone, “Ah, the ghost is crawling out; it’s horrifying.”
James’s mouth twitched slightly; he instantly knew she was pretending.
Who could explain to him the charm of watching a ghost movie on the sofa in the middle of the night?
His lips faintly curled up, a gentle look flashing in his eyes.
He held Julia closer, nonchalantly saying, “Don’t be scared; it’s fake.”

The next day, the weather forecast declared it a bright sunny day.
Cory Langston waited at home for any news notification.
He waited until 5 p.m., and with the banks closed, there was still no notification of a deposit in his account.
He called Grace Land.
“There’s no money received today; can you call Julia and ask what’s happening?”

Grace was currently at a SPA, and upon receiving her husband’s call, she gestured for the massage therapist to step out, “Not received yet?
I’ll call her.”
When Julia’s phone vibrated, she glanced at the display and coldly disconnected the call.
Grace frowned and tried calling again.
After being disconnected three times in a row, she decided to send a message instead.
Grace, [Are you busy?
Why haven’t you made the transfer yet?]
Julia leisurely replied, [I don’t respond well to threats.]
Seeing this message, Grace’s expression hardened, [Just make sure you don’t regret it.]
She was merely pushing her to transfer seven billion.
Thinking of the Langston Family, her younger daughter, her son, and the prospect of her lavish future life possibly slipping away, Grace hardened her resolve and located the number of the stranger who had contacted her previously.
Grace planned to sell photos to them.
With Julia causing such a fuss, Grace no longer felt like continuing her SPA.
The stranger swiftly responded to Grace’s message, offering twenty million for a single photo.
Twenty million was far from seven billion.
The stranger asked if she wanted to sell.
Grace bit her lip, [Okay, twenty million per photo.]
Money handed over upon delivery of goods.
The stranger sent her an address, [Go here, there’s a small mailbox by the door, put the photo inside and there will be a bank card in the mailbox, the PIN is six zeros.]
Grace changed her clothes, left the SPA, and her bag conveniently had a photo of Julia at age ten.
She instructed her driver to drive to the address given by the stranger.
Grace hesitated for a moment, got out of the car, opened her bag, and placed the photo inside the small mailbox.
She took the bank card from the small mailbox.
