Grand Return System-Chapter 24: Visitors Beneath the Morning Sky
Visitors Beneath the Morning Sky
A streak of light split the morning sky above the Acedmy premises.
Selena froze for a heartbeat.
Someone... at this hour?Could it be Shera again?
The glow descended rapidly toward Amethyst Summit Division, cutting through the quiet with an elegant, controlled descent.
As it neared, Selena finally saw them clearly.
A woman — tall, poised — drifting down like falling snow.
Her long blue hair flowed like silk behind her, catching sunlight in shimmering threads. Her figure was breathtaking: a narrow waist, smooth long legs beneath flowing robes, and an alluring chest — full, proud, undeniably E-cup — framed by her elegant posture rather than flaunted. Her hips curved like a peach, and every motion hinted at restrained seduction.
Her robes were sky-blue layered silk, cinched at the waist with a white sash. Subtle embroidery traced the hems — lotus patterns drifting like frost. The attire hugged her upper body, then flowed loose and light down her legs, making her look like a spirit walking between heaven and earth.
Selena’s gaze dropped instinctively.
A pinch of inferiority stabbed through her chest.
What kind of elixir did she take to grow like that...?She isn’t here to seduce Teacher... right?
Her eyes narrowed slightly.
No — this woman feels dangerous. If Teacher sees her... he might fall for her charm. I can’t just let her walk straight in.
Then Selena noticed something else.
A smaller figure stood behind the blue-haired woman.
A girl about her age — long black hair tied behind her shoulders, bright eyes, delicate lips, soft cheeks still carrying traces of youth. Her B-cup chest suited her slender frame. Her legs were long and straight, with lightly toned athletic thighs and naturally rounded hips that hinted at quiet strength.
She wore simple yet pretty robes: soft white fabric trimmed in black thread, fitted lightly at the waist, flowing to her ankles — practical, modest, and sincere.
Selena’s heart trembled.
"Sana..."
The name escaped on instinct.
Her childhood companion. The one who had grown up with her in the same village. Since their separation at Emerald Crest Division, they hadn’t seen each other.
"Selena! I’m here to see you—!"
Before Selena could react, Sana sprinted forward and threw herself into her arms.
Selena hugged her back instantly.
Warmth flooded through her — relief, longing, grief, all tangled together.
It had been too long.
"Why are you here?" Selena asked softly once they pulled apart.
"I begged Teacher to bring me!"
Sana laughed and pointed behind her — at the blue-haired woman.
Selena turned — eyes lifting.
Recognition flickered. 𝒻𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝘯𝘰𝑣ℯ𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝘮
Back at Emerald Crest Division... this woman had been the one who chose Sana.
Maya.
Head of Holy Water Division.
Long blue hair. Calm blue eyes. A mature, intellectual air that wrapped around her like water. Her curves — including that impossibly generous chest — were matched by quiet grace rather than vulgarity.
Selena straightened immediately and bowed.
"Greetings, Respected Maya."
As a student — and the first seat student of Amethyst Summit Division — she couldn’t afford disrespect.
Maya smiled faintly and nodded.
A hint of guilt shadowed her expression.
Back then, she had wanted to choose Selena too. But her judgment had said otherwise — average talent, little time, too many responsibilities. So she had chosen only Sana.
Later, when she saw Selena standing alone... something in her heart had twisted. She had nearly called her back — but Leon had already accepted her.
Still, at least the girl had not become a mere labor student.
Even if Leon, back then, was seen as no different.
Now, face-to-face, Maya felt that old embarrassment rise again.
She sighed.
"There’s no need to be so formal. I only came because Sana has been missing you terribly — to the point she can’t focus on cultivation. Since I had nothing important today, I brought her here to see you both spend some time together."
Selena softened.
It made sense. After losing everything together, they had become each other’s only remaining "household."
Then Sana tugged her sleeve.
"Teacher, didn’t you say... we could bring Selena back with us?"
The words landed like a pebble in still water.
Maya glanced at Selena.
"You can ask her if she wants to go."
Selena blinked.
Her heart tightened.
"Sana... what do you mean? Bring me back?"
Sana leaned close and whispered into her ear.
"I begged Teacher for days. Come back with us. My Teacher is already at the King Realm, five stars. She can teach you so much. But I heard the teacher of Amethyst Summit Division is only Onyx Realm... he can’t teach you anything. If you stay here, you’ll ruin your future."
Selena’s eyes cooled instantly.
She swallowed the sting in silence.
She knew Sana meant well.
But hearing someone insult Leon — her Teacher — twisted something deep inside her.
"Sana, I’m grateful. Truly. But I have already acknowledged my Teacher. I won’t transfer. Teacher treats me very well. And... I like Amethyst Summit Division. This place is my home now."
Her voice steadied.
Firm, unwavering.
Maya’s expression shifted — a faint chill rising in her gaze.
