"I ordered a mocktail for you, Brother Deng," Jiang Fenhua placed the menu that was handed to him by a server and said to Master Deng. "I do not know how much you can drink, it will be troublesome if you were to get drunk."

He knew his mother and understood her too well, she wouldn't bat an eye if his sisters were to make a mistake even Jiang Mingzhu who was not well liked would be given a little leeway.

This was a name that Yu Dong gave to the sparkling pink mocktail.

Master Deng had never touched a single book with his hands but even he thought that the name was very elegant and had a nice touch to it.

He picked up the glass and then took a sip of the mocktail. His eyes widened when he felt little explosions in his mouth.

"It ——It is exploding?" He brought his hand to his mouth and exclaimed in surprise. He had never ever drunk something like this before.

"Haha, isn't it fun?" Jiang Fenhua asked with a light chuckle. His eyes turned into little crescents as he laughed.

Master Deng nodded and took another sip. For him each sip was like a wonder, no matter how many times he sipped the tiny pops made him amused and happy.

Jiang Fenhua watched Master Deng sipping on the mocktail with a happy smile and asked, "Brother Deng, did something happen?"

Master Deng paused and looked at Jiang Fenhua. He gulped the sip of the drink that he had taken just now and pursed his lips.

"Brother Fenhua, it is not that I don't want to tell you. But your sister asked me to keep this matter from you as she doesn't want you to worry about her," Master Deng answered with a sigh.

His wife was a gentle woman but she had å ton of pride. She would rather break her back than become a burden on anyone.

When Jiang Fenhua heard Master Deng's words, he was already certain that there was indeed something wrong happening in the Jiang family and Jiang Mingzhu was the one who was suffering this time around.

Jiang Fenhua started wheedling Master Deng, "But brother Deng, if you tell me then maybe I will be able to help you and sister Mingzhu. I can see that you and my sister are in trouble, is it really important to hold on to your pride when your situation is like this?"
