Chanchan is a capable woman and she will only get even more popular from now on; you should grab the opportunity when the mers of the tribe do not understand her worth and make her yours. If not, you will regret it to death."

Of course, Nan Zhi knew this. He had been trying to get close to Ruan Chanchan for a while now but he had no idea how to approach her. After all, he was quite hard on her in the past and he even stopped her from getting anything that she liked. Sure, that mer was capable but Ruan Zeqiu could never like any mer who might take his sister away from him. All these years, it was just him and his sister. He had been the one taking care of her alone when she was sick and no one helped her. Now he didn’t even get some time to enjoy his life with his sister and someone was already on his way to snatch his sister away from him. That was too much!

He still wanted to spend some time with his sister before some rotten mer came into their lives.

Ruan Zeqiu frowned when he heard Ruan Chanchan’s words. He hesitated and said, "Then should I go with you?" what if his sister ran into a beast?

"I will be fine and if something happens, I will come running back."

Anyway, she had supermarket space to protect herself. If something attacked her, she could always escape and hide in her supermarket space. Of course she couldn’t tell this to her brother.
