Harem God- Dimensional Motel System-Chapter 80: Interactions With The Night Part 39
Chapter 80: Interactions With The Night Part 39
<Inside the Motel’s Office>
"Take this one." Luck handed her another fake pill.
She took it without hesitation, still remembering how much stronger she felt the last time.
At the same time, he increased her stats
[Martial Arts 15] >> [Martial Arts 30]
That moved instantly shaved 15 years off her life.
The effect kicked in right away.
Mist rose from her skin while her body trembled.
When it finally stopped, she jumped once — then again, higher.
Her body felt lighter.
Without thinking, she moved into a quick combo — two strikes, a turn, and a kick.
"No way!" Her eyes widened.
Her martial arts had jumped to a whole new level. If she merged it with her Ki, her overall combat power could rival a Rank 5.
Even though she looked happy, Luck still felt guilty.
At least now he wouldn’t have to push her any further. . She already maxed out her combat skill

[DING!]
[Congratulations, Owner. You have used 20 stat points.]
[You can now upgrade a party member up to 10 levels above their current limit.]
[Warning: Each level increase will cost 2 years of their lifespan.]
’Shit.’ He almost said it out loud.
One year was already too much—now the system had raised it to two.
It wasn’t an upgrade anymore. It was a death sentence disguised as a reward.
The temptation to make her stronger was there. But he held back.
"Call Jun," he instructed.
"Are you planning to give him the pills too?"
"Yes, " she asked.
Before he could answer, Kana stepped closer.
"Then give me more," she said firmly. "I want to be strong enough to fight beside you... in case those rankers come for us."
Her reason was genuine. She just wanted to help him.
But Luck couldn’t do it.
He couldn’t gamble with her life again. Twenty years was already more than enough.
"You already lost twenty years from taking two pills. That’s the price...Are you mad that I didn’t tell you the side effects before?"
She just smiled softly, then leaned in and kissed him.
When she pulled back, her eyes held no anger, only understanding.
"I know why you did it. You wanted to make me stronger... so I could protect myself."
She rested her forehead against his chest.
"And now, I want to protect you too."
Luck’s jaw tightened. "No."
"I can handle it," she pushed. "I’ve already lost twenty years—what’s a few more?"
He shook his head. "You don’t get it. The third one isn’t like the others."
She frowned. "What do you mean?"
"The cost goes up every time. The third pill could take decades. Maybe even kill you on the spot if your body can’t handle it."
Kana went quiet.
She wanted to argue. Wanted to say she could handle it—that it was worth the risk.
But when she saw the look on his face, she stopped.
"...Alright....I won’t take it."
Jun stepped into the office. He glanced around, confused.
"What’s going on? Why’d you call me?"
"I’ve got something for you," Luck opened his palm.
"What is it?"
"Enhancing drugs that’ll boost your strength and speed permanently"
Jun stepped closer "What does it do, exactly?"
"You’ll feel it not long after you take it. Like unlocking a part of yourself that’s been held back."
"And... side effects?"
Luck paused only for a second. Then shook his head. "Nothing you can’t handle."
Jun hesitated. He didn’t fully trust the pill—but he trusted Luck more than most.
"Well... here goes nothing." He popped it into his mouth and swallowed.
At first, nothing happened.
Then, heat flooded through his chest. Sweat broke across his forehead. His pulse pounded in his ears.
Martial Arts: 10 > 12
Melee Weapon : 8 > 10
Tactical Planning: 6> 10
Without saying a word, Luck reopened the system menu and scrolled to Jun’s combat proficiencies.
He moved the sliders without hesitation.
[Martial Arts: 12 > 20][Melee Weapons: 10 > 20]
Another rush of energy tore through Jun’s body. He staggered, grabbing the side of the desk as a sharp jolt shot through his spine and into his arms.
Sweat dripped from his brow. His eyes darted around, unfocused.
Luck stood a few steps away, arms crossed, watching without expression.
In total, he had sold 44 years of Jun’s life just to push him to this level.
At this point, it wouldn’t even surprise him if the young man dropped dead on the spot.
The system didn’t care about what a body could take.
It would keep draining life as long as someone kept feeding it points.
"Still alive?"
Jun nodded once. "Yeah... just barely."
When things finally settled, Jun couldn’t hide his excitement.
He stretched his arms, rolled his shoulders, then threw a few straight punches into the air.
"I fee so light,"
Every movement was smoother—faster, heavier.
"This is insane," he muttered, grinning. "My whole body feels different. "
He paced around the room, testing his balance and reaction.
No lag. No stiffness. Everything flowed naturally.
Luck leaned against his chair, arms crossed.
"Don’t tell anyone about the pills. It’s a military secret, and I’ve got a limited supply."
Jun’s grin faded slightly.
"If you want to grow stronger," Luck added, "then be ready to earn it the hard way from here on out."
"I will. " Jun gave a small nod, the excitement in his eyes could not be hidden.
He glanced at his hands, clenching and unclenching his fists.
’So this is how he did it.’
’Those inhuman feats... the impossible speed and precision—it wasn’t just skill.’
’It was this. Now, I had access to it too.’ fɾeewebnoveℓ.co๓

The air inside the base was thick with tension.
No one was talking. Even the sound of footsteps had gone quiet.
People sat with their weapons in hand, checking their gear over and over, just to keep busy.
The clock on the wall ticked louder with every passing second.
Near the center of the camp, Luck stood with his arms crossed, watching the system time on his interface.
11:58 am
11:59 am
12:00 pm
Then it hit.
The sound of hundreds—maybe thousands—of zombies echoed from all directions.
And this time, they weren’t walking.
They were running.
Like maniacs.
Right as the first howls reached the perimeters, Luck barked orders without wasting a second.
"Grab the Molotovs! Light ’em up "
The group scrambled into position.
Fireteam A lit the first batch using torches they’d kept burning since morning.
One by one, bottles ignited and flew over the barricades.
Glass shattered. Flames exploded across the front line.
The first wave of zombies caught fire instantly, shrieking in pain but not slowing down.
Their burning bodies slammed into the first line of defense, setting parts of it ablaze.
Luck didn’t flinch. "Keep throwing! Aim for the clusters!"
Dozens more bottles followed, arcing through the air like comets. The bodies below turned into a rolling field of fire.
But the horde kept coming.
From the side, Jun shouted, "They’re climbing over the burning ones!"
Luck spun. He saw it too—some of the zombies were using their fallen as stepping stones, walking right through the fire, skin peeling but muscles still moving.
"Plan B. Ranged teams, shoot the legs. Bring them down. Don’t waste arrows on the head unless they’re close."
Arrows started flying in controlled volleys.
They slowed the advance—for now—but safety was still out of reach.
He watched as the infected pressed forward through fire, arrows, barb wires, metal spikes and barricades—relentless, endless.
One mistake, one delay, and the entire line could break.
"No wonder so many bases get wiped out. This is literally hell."
"This is too much... even for the death parade." Kana shook her head, eyes locked on the swarm.
She loosed another arrow, then charged in, her hands glowing faintly white.
With a quick burst of ki, she struck—one hit dropped three, the follow-up took out two more.
Each movement quick and controlled.
But the numbers weren’t shrinking fast enough.
When the zombies reached the wall and began climbing over the piles of corpses, the order changed.
"Switch to spears!" Luck shouted.
Everyone obeyed . They lined up along the inner barricade, bracing their weapons.
As the infected reached the top, spears lunged forward in unison, knocking them back down into the fire or crushing the ones still climbing.
Anything that made it past the line didn’t get far.
Jun stood just behind the wall, machete in hand.
SLASH!
SLASH!
SLASH!
Fortunately, the wave ended without a single casualty.
But it was only 1:30 PM.
Plenty of time for things to go wrong.
Luck’s first order came quick. "Clean up the corpses. Now. Burn whatever’s still twitching."
Kana covered the cleanup team, eyes scanning the horizon.
Once the cleanup was done, they turned their attention to supplies and repairs.
Food and ammo were counted. Barricades were reinforced.
Fresh spears were handed out, blood still drying on the old ones.
"Monsters!" Dima shouted from the watchtower.
Luck narrowed his eyes.
The word monster wasn’t something people used lightly—not in a world already crawling with the dead.
"What are those things?" Luck was genuinely shocked.
Each one stood nearly eight feet tall, shoulders broad, bodies packed with muscle and rot.
But what made them worse wasn’t just their size—it was what they carried.
One dragged a street sign bent into a spear.
Another held an axe, its blade stained dark.
One had a car door strapped to its arm like a shield.
Last one was swinging chains with broken tools attached.
’There’s more behind them...’ Luck trailed off ’Jumpers.’
