Hated By The Alpha-Chapter 139: The verge of the end

Elena remained standing beside the tree, her face maliciously calm as she stared at Audrey.

She slowly stretched her hand behind the tree and Sandra walked out, placing her hand on Elena’s.

Elena drew her to her side, keeping her eyes locked on Audrey’s as she gently patted Sandra’s hair like a pet.

"Good Job, you brought her right to me," Elena’s whisper was errie.

She smiled sinisterly at Audrey as she took out a dagger from beside her waist and placed it on Sandra’s hand, "Now, be a good girl and kill her," She whispered to Sandra.

Sandra eyes seemed to darken more from the command and she immediately snapped her head up at Audrey, staring at her with strange eyes, no familiarity left in them.

She slowly started to walk toward her, gripping the dagger tighlty in her hand.

Audrey scoffed, "A coward as always, sending someone else to do the job for you, sister," Audrey said calmly.

"Why not come over here, Elena, I promise to be brutal with you," Audrey smirked.

Elena didn’t respond, she only sent a wave of darkness to Sandra, causing her to become more rabid.

"Grruuu," Sandra paused, cracked her neck, and then charged at Audrey.

"I’m sorry, Sandy," Audrey muttered before sending heavy wind out to Sandra, knocking her hard against a tree.

"Now, let’s get down to business," Audrey said, and in the blink of an eye, she launched into the air and sent Elna flying against another tree.

"Ughh!" Elena exclaimed, immediately rising to her feet.

"Pathetic," Audrey tisked and cautiously walked toward Elena.

Elena looked enraged, she glared at Audrey and started to whisper something inaudible to Audrey.

Before Audrey could react, slim roots shot out from the ground and speedily weaved around her legs, grounding her.

"You always think you’re the best in everything," Elena spoke, eyes darkened with jealousy and anger.

Her voice was condescending as she slowly walked toward Audrey.

Audrey grunted as the roots contracted around her legs, they were s,lowly climbing up her legs, constricting her blood flow and causing her ,weakness.

"I never thought so, sister, I knew it, Argh!" Audrey screamed as she used red fire to burn away the roots from her legs

And then channelled her hand at Elena, pushing her down with the fire.

"Argh!!!" Elena screamed from the ground, surprised at Audrey’s sudden attack.

Everything happened in a second and she wasn’t expecting Audrey to react that way.

She quickly neutralized the fire on her dress and used a cloud of smoke to disappear before Audrey could reach her.

Audrey gritted her teeth in anger, "Coward."

She searched the whole area but couldn’t find her. She quickly ran over to Sandra and lifted her off the ground.

"Damn it, why are you so heavy?!" She grunted as she lifted Sandra to her shoulder.

She balanced her weight and immediately ran back to the clearing. As she neared, she heard loud growls and cries from wolves, witches and dark creatures.

She was glad that Sandra was unconscious, that way she didn’t have to keep her eyes on her. She gently lowered her behind a huge shrub and ran out to the clearing, her target, Elena.

Audrey heard footsteps behind her and sharply turned, ready to attack.

"It’s me! It’s me, Kitten," Alpha Lake raised his hand and slowly approached her.

He had changed back from his wolf and was now wearing black shorts.

"Damn it, don’t sneak up on me like that," She managed a half smile, her eyes roaming around the forest.

"We seem to have the situation under control," Alpha Lake pointed out to the clearing.

Audrey shook her head at him, "She’s here, and the longer she breathes, the dark creatures will keep appearing," She informed.

Alpha Lake frowned, looking around him, feeling the dark magic in the air. 𝘧𝑟𝑒𝑒𝘸𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝓁.𝘤𝘰𝓂

"Where’s she?" He asked.

"Hiding like the coward she is," Audrey said loudly, knowing Elena could hear her.

And soon, Alpha Lake came and stood in front of her protectively as the dust rose from the floor, picking up branches and throwing them all over the place.

Clap...clap...clap.,..

Audrey and Alpha Lake heard someone clapping behind the raised dusts, and when Audrey saw that the dust was not planning to calm down, she had to step aside and use her powers to disperse the rising dusts away from them.

"Aww, how cute, just like the old times. What a sweet sight, unfortunately, it’s not going to last for long!" Elena suddenly sent a long dark rope to them, wrapping it around Alpha Lake and dragging him away from Audrey.

"You bitch!" Audrey angrily ran to her and pushed her down to the floor, disconnecting her from the dark rope but the rope still remained tangled on Alpha Lake as he struggled on the ground.

"How do you like this?!" Audrey launched a heavy punch on Elena’s white face, and another, and another.

Elena struggled to get Audrey off her but Audrey was so angry and banged her head onto a branch.

"Argh!" Elena screamed painfully.

She somehow managed to free her hand, summoned her dark rope and sent them around Audrey’s middle, dragging her away from her.

Elena quickly stood, rushing to Alpha Lake with glistening dagger.

Audrey saw this and quickly dispelled the ropes, using her own white rope to draw Elena’s hand back.

In the blink of an eye, she wrapped her arms around Elena’s neck and whispered, "How about we do this physically, huh?" She whispered as Elena choked from her tight grip.

She pushed Elena away, and while she was still trying to regain her breath, Audrey freed Alpha Lake from the rope’s grip.

"You all must die!" Elena shouted and summoned the dark creatures, soon, up to ten Carnifexes and Fleshgolems trooped into the place, and instantly attacking Audrey and Alpha Lake.

"Duck!" Audrey said to Alpha Lake who quickly responded and grabbed a branch from the floor, launching at a Carnifex.

Elena stood at a side, smiling evily as she saw Audrey and Alpha Lake struggle to kill the dark creatures.

"Lay low!" Audrey screamed to Alpha Lake.

Again, he responded on time as Audrey released her white light, killing all the creatures at once.

Without wasting time, she sent white glowing tendrils to Elena, but sje was quick to run away from it.

"Oh come on!" Audrey muttered and chased her.

She chased her out to the clearing, Alpha Lake following behind as they ran.

Audrey cleared her path with the white light as she ran, sending fire balls at Elena.

Elena saw Miranda in front and smiled, a new target has been spotted.

She promised Malachi that she would return victorious and nothing was going to stop her from doing so.

Miranda was busy fighting a dark creature when she suddenly felt something on her leg, the distraction caused the dark creature to slash her arm with it’s sharp claws.

"Argh!" She screamed painfully and fell to the ground.

She looked above her to see Elena looking down at her with an evil smirk on her face.

"You evil witch!" She cursed at Elena.

Elena only smiled and produced a knife on her hand, "It’s time for you to go meet your ancestors, dear aunt," She said angrily and raise her hand to kill her with the knife.

"Hyaaa!" Audrey kicked Elena away fro Miranda, and smartly took the knife from her hand, and without wasting time, pierced her shoulder with it.

"Arghhhh!!" Elena screamed so loud that the creatures all paused and turned to her, and soon, they all started running toward her.

Audrey was momentarily distracted with the creatures and didn’t notice when Elena took the knife out from her shoulder amd pireced her abdomen, way deep into her abdomen.

Audrey grunted, falling to the floor and holding her tummy.

She was starting to feel her amulet hum again, this time, as if it was trying to warn her about something very dangerous.

Elena stood, her wounds healed already and walked over to Audrey.

"The knife was poisoned by my blood, dear sister, so, I’ll just leave you to it, while you slowly die, just like last time, in the end, you still lost to me." She stepped her foot on top of Audrey’s tummy, near the knife, causing Audrey to spurt blood.

"Oh, and Mr. Handsome?" Elena moved aside to let Audrey see Alpha Lake fighting off dark creatures.

Her vission were turning blurry and she could no longer see him clearly, she didn’t want this, she knew that if she died, then Elena would really win this battle, how could she have been so careless?

Was this part of the destiny nature and Karma were talking about?

She closed her eyes to see if she could heal herself, but the poison on the knife seemed to block her every attempt at healing herself.

"Don’t worry about him, I’ll make sure to kill him slowly and painfully," Elena kicked Audrey before she ran off to attack Alpha Lake.

Audrey heard Miranda warning Alpha Lake about Elena’s attack and felt helpless.

’We’re with you, Audrey, just listen to the amulet like Selena had said,’ Avery said to Audrey.

Audrey was finding it hard to breath. She painstakingly raised her hand to her amulet and closed it around it.

’I can help you, but, magic comes with a price,’ She heard the sculptures voice inside her head.

"Whatever it is, I can’t let him die," She grunted in reply.

’You said it,’ The sculptures voice replied in a whisper.

Soon, Audrey felt a wave of strength overtake her, she closed her eyes and pulled out the poisoned knife from her stomach, soft white light glowing from within the wound as it speedily closed up.

’Now, I’ll help you when everything is over,’ Audrey heard the sculpture again.

She didn’t understand how the sculpture would help her after everything was over.

"Behind you!" Maria screamed beside Audrey.

Audrey immediately turned, killing the dark creatures with harsh white light.

She immediately turned to look at Alpha Lake and sighed in relief when he saw him elegantly killing the dark creatures.

"Elena," She said angrily, this time, she was no longer playing, she was going to end this, enough playing around.

She ran around the clearing, searching for Elena, she was nowhere to be seen, probably hiding to attack her when she wasn’t aware.

Her eyes locked with Alpha Lake’s as he sudenly turned to her, she was focused on him, blocking out every other image and sound, this man, was the reason she needed to survive, they needed to survive.

"Lake!" Audrey screamed the loudest she’s ever screamed as Elena suddenly appeared behind Alpha Lake, and before Alpha Lake could dodge, a long sword pireced through his back and out his chest.

"Nooo!!!" Audrey’s vission turned red and her wolf howled in pain at the sight of their mate falling to the fall, blood flowing through his mouth and his eyes widened in horror.

Alpha Lake knew this was the end, he locked his eyes on Audrey as he fell to the ground, giving her one last smile before his eyes closed to the eternal darkness.

Maybe, this was how he paid for the wrongs he’s done her from the beginning. Maybe, he deserved it.

Audrey was outraged, her murder mode activated.
