Evading another one of his opponent’s lightning arcs boasting several kilometers large,the massive eagle split into ten different smaller eagles, screeched and shot towards the phantoms of Darkhaven launching lightning arcs after another, which was actually Kailen moving so fast due to the movement technique that it was as though it was like seven phantoms of him launching the attack.

" If I can’t find the real you, then I’ll just attack all of you"

Kailen snorted at Yamashi’s bellow, clashing with the attacks head on , spamming his own azure lightning slashes towards the flames endlessly.

In the span of a few seconds, the flames had completely overcome the lightning slashes and clouded the phantoms.

Searing flames were dancing on his obsidian figure,however he seemed unharmed.

Yamashi laughed maniacally as he exchanged another attack with Kailen.

At this point he was at his wits end.

Kailen’s shadow creatures detached from his figure, revealing him in his casual wear and hoodie with his sneakers. They materialized into a katana boasting several meters.

Kailen held the katana and simply slashed.

Yamashi’s head fell as his blood splattered and froze in the blizzards and cold winds .

The dead figure of Yamashi, head and body, disappeared into his storage ring before it managed to fall on the ground.

The disciples from the Arcane Empowerment Sect had stopped attacking the Federation powerhouses.

Their hands were shaking , hearts beating with palpable terror.

Cimeris and Sanguine turned to look at one another and nodded in understanding. Inasmuch as they were rivals, they belonged to the same sect. In this kind of situation, they understood unity more than any other thing .

" Retreat " The duo bellowed at the same time,as their fellow disciples heeded their bellow.

The aliens were retreating.

The awakened of the federation let them go.

It was not like they could attack them.

Massive skyscrapers that streaked torwards the clouds were stationed magnificently with flickering neon lights.

Individuals of different races moved towards various destinations, engaged in their own chatter.

In one of the alleyways of this city, a man draped in tattered clothes ,downed wine in a bottle as he staggered and leaned on a wall of a building.

" Is he his son?. Why do they look so alike? Their eyes, their hair, their composure, he’s like his spitting image"

The inner sect elder of the Arcane Empowerment Sect who had dissapeared earlier from the bar in the small city sighed.

" That cannot be possible. Master Saul has been proclaimed dead.
