With the tense atmosphere within this humongous hall, Azrail raised his head to look at the blurry figure. The current him, with the dark cloak, was fully hidden from view. Not even Hera was able to peek into the face hidden here, so keeping his calm, Azrail as DeathMark slowly spoke.

"Queen Mother, the knowledge I gained is something that was whispered to me from death."

The sudden words of his twisted the atmosphere, no doubt having gained the attention of Hera, as the pressure slowly started to get higher. Keeping his posture straight, Azrail continued to speak.

"The reason I used that knowledge was to call upon you so that I could give another piece of information to you, information so important that it had to be face to face."

As Azrail stopped here, he stood there in silence, just looking up at her, seemingly hesitant, waiting for something. The tension just got higher as Hera, frowning within her veil, spoke.

"Go on, speak."

Getting permission, Azrail spoke.

"This is about the Trojan war."

And just as Azrail had finished speaking, a humongous pressure came out that quickly brought Azrail to his knees. Before he could even speak anything else, it seemed as if the air within him was being knocked out as his body started to float, the whole power restricting him, as divine light started to float all around.

’Guess that pulled the trigger.’

As he thought of this, his body started to fill with powerful might, as Hera spoke.

"Enough, I shall see what you are hiding."

And just as Hera finished speaking, her powers waved, the height of reaching the top of Godly power flowing out as she forcefully tried to break into Azrail’s mind and see through his memories. Though the moment she tried, a repulsive action took place, pushing forth the power back, hitting a recoil against Hera, who shivered in her seat.

’Impossible!’

For the first time, the expression of Hera changed, a sensation of danger filling her mind as she took in the recoil that hit her, the prospect of not being able to break into the mind of an ant hitting her hard. And before she could take any action, Azrail struggling spoke out.

"Yu....urgh...won’t....be.....argh...able....to...see.....um.....my.....mind....."

Regaining her calm quickly, Hera lifted some of the pressure as she asked with a calm tone.

"Why?"

"Because my mind is already tied to the dead."

Hearing this, Hera bit her lips lightly, knowing that the ones that dabble with the element of death have several secrets, and trying to pry them wouldn’t be easy. It’s already a headache with those fellas. Soon millions of ideas in a millisecond flashed through Hera’s mind. She didn’t fully believe his words at all, the chance of another power at play already flowing through Hera’s mind. Thus keeping her cool, she spoke.

"Continue what you were about to say."

Hearing this, a certain light flashed through Azrail’s eyes. With hidden intentions, Azrail spoke.

"What I wanted to talk to you about is the revenge and curse coming your way from a single action you took in the past, the actions of you inflicting the war that day has twisted the wheels of certain harm to you."

To this, a hidden smirk lit Hera’s face as she spoke.

"Do you think anyone can touch me? Especially some mortal figure from that war?"

"Then why are you afraid?"

The moment Azrail asked this, the pressure started to choke him again, the pain of his body being crushed surrounding him. But Azrail didn’t give into it; he stood strong as he took in the powered pressure pushing down on him. Seeing that pain brought no change, Hera spoke.

"Tsk...just spit it all out."

"Huff.....from what I saw, the Trojan war back then was never to be influenced due but to what you did with your arrogance thinking you wouldn’t be caught. The mark of the Damned flowed into you, a fate of war, which links to a DemiGod heading your way with death. But what you don’t know fully is that Io, the lover that turned to a cow, and King Ixion are now together in it."

The moment Azrail finished his words, he was dropped to the floor, breath of life slowly filling him again, while Qi started to respond to him. With these words, the first pieces were set and the full attention was brought forth.

"Tell me everything in detail. Lie to me once or try to trick me, I can’t maybe read your memories, but I can lock you here and torture you till the end of time. Do not test me."

The words Hera spoke were chilling but behind it all, Azrail sensed the fear flooding her, the fear of death. As the prince of Death, Azrail could smell it. She was emanating it from all over her body and that will be the first chain that Azrail will use to bind her. Thus with a respectful bow, Azrail started to speak, he already knowing that Hera is using her divinity to check for any lies.

"I was born with the special ability to walk into the limbo state."

As Azrail spoke these words, a resounding blast of power took place, his words no doubt shocking Hera to the core but Azrail didn’t leave it at that as he continued forth.

"Thanks to tumbling into it by mistake, I was able to grasp upon the knowledge that I should not have. And before you ask, I can’t control it. The bloodline I was born with takes me there and I have no control over who I read or what I read, but I was lucky. It’s with this ability that I reached till here."

The revelation of this would be extremely big but Azrail still did it not due to blind luck but a calculated move. The limbo state being something only the highest of powers knew, it being the realm of the first dead, where the souls first rest before they are taken action or controlled of. Till now, none speak of the ability to enter that domain, perhaps only the 21 rulers of hell could just gaze at it, not control or even enter it of free will.

It was piece for a piece, Azrail was placing his life in the hands of Hera, while he seemed to show that he had her secret in his hands, a mutual sense of connection and Hera immediately understood it, certain plans already running through her mind. But before all that, Hera asked.

"Why me?"

The two words contained several meanings. To this, Azrail spoke.

"Because you are the closest that can give me power, you repay what you get and above all, I have another secret reason but it is not something that will harm you or wish harm upon you."

Azrail timed his words perfectly and Hera definitely wanted to take in more info but she is smart enough to play it with time because she could already see where this was going with Azrail’s words. He was attempting to join her faction within the pantheon, one that rarely takes anyone in, and one that rarely has men due to Zeus’s jealousy.

"Other than me you are the only other one that knows of this info, so what is it that you can give me other than info?"

"My info will help you get through what is coming to you and above that, I will be able to act as your proxy. As the only other one that knows of this, I will be able to deal with threats hidden, moving around such that you can stay in the light."
