Hell's Actor-Chapter 63: What?
Chapter 63: What?
The cultural impact of Binsfeld’s Seven Princes of Hell was not miniscule by any stretch of the imagination.
The hairstyles and attire shown in the drama became very popular among young men.
Like Averie, they wore plain white shirts instead of t-shirts. Instead of jeans, they wore dress pants. Instead of sports shoes or sneakers, they wore formal black shoes.
They styled their hair like one of the seven princes. They walked with confidence like Lucifer, talked with inflections like Mammon, and hilariously failed to glare with desire like Asmodeus.
Numerous edited video clips of the show were uploaded on SilkTube.
Beelzebub and Belphegor’s many conversations, Mammon’s conspiracies, Leviathan’s spying, Lucifer’s chase of Satan, the death of Asmodeus, Sarah’s killing of the prostitute, Satan’s killing of the maid, Sarah’s killing of Satan, Asmodeus shooting the butler twenty times, and danse macabre were scenes that attracted millions of views.
Aspiring actors were instructed to study the chilling performances of the seven.
Studying the script and comparing it to the final product had become somewhat of a pastime. The most studied scene of all was the dinner scene.
It was a script without romance for the sake of romance. That’s why, it had become the most favorite in the eyes of aspiring writers.
In universities, acting schools, and talent agencies, the original script had become extremely popular. freeωebnovēl.c૦m
It was exactly the opposite reaction compared to when the drama was in its preproduction and struggling to recruit talented actors.
Despite the doubts, they had done it. They had gone against the flow and achieved something incredible.
Perhaps the industry needed to study that attitude more than the script.
In all this, there were many who wondered what was next for Averie Quinn Auclair.

"Hyerin? It’s been so long. How have you been?"
While out shopping for Averie’s groceries, Hyerin stumbled across an old acquaintance.
"Min-Ha, is that you?"
Dressed lightly but fashionably, it was Min-Ha Byun, a former colleague from Sartre Entertainment.
They weren’t that close when they worked together, mainly because they had different roles to fulfill. But even still, Hyerin was happy to meet a former colleague who wasn’t snide towards her.
After a while of blabbering while standing around the dairy aisle, She invited Hyerin for a cup of coffee.
"We should catch up!" was what she said.
Hyerin was hesitant. Of course, she wanted to chat. What woman did not want to chat?
But Averie was waiting for her.
It would be bad if she were to be late to bring him something to eat. She had explicitly told him not to leave the apartment or order food when he was alone.
His address getting leaked or him being recognized in the streets was a grave danger to his security.
Then again, Averie was a big boy. He didn’t need her to always look after him.
After agonizing for a minute as if she were contemplating a moral dilemma, Hyerin agreed.
"Okay. But I can’t stay long."
Chatting was too much of an alluring proposition for the young lady.
She messaged Averie that she would be late and went to a terrace café with Min-Ha.
"...and then, he just slammed the table and threw stuff around! All because the new guy messed up a little!"
Min-Ha shook her head in disapproval.
"One of these days, I would like to beat him with a stick." She sipped her tea. "Anyway, what’s up with you?"
Hyerin looked a little conflicted. On one hand, she wanted to brag about her friend. And on the other, she wanted to ensure his safety.
"Nothing special."
"Don’t lie." Min-Ha smiled. "I know what you did. You left your boss hanging for a week before you quit."
"How do you know that?"
"Practically, everyone in the company knows. That ass was pulling his hair and making a ruckus about it." She laughed maliciously. "You should have seen it. It was so funny."
Hyerin squirmed in her seat. "I feel bad now."
"Oh, don’t be. He deserved that." She nudged her. "But I would have never taken you for someone so vindictive. What changed?"
"Well, you know..."
Hyerin was not proud of what she did, but Averie’s influence was too strong. He was like the serpent in the Garden of Eden.
His words, always so despicable, sounded ever so sweet when he whispered them.
"So, anyway, what are you doing now?" Min-Ha asked. "Left the entertainment world?"
"Not really, no."
Hyerin told her about her new job without revealing her employer.
"You are managing a rookie actor?"
Min-Ha’s eyes were wide. She could not believe that the sensible girl would ever take such a risk.
"Are you serious? Is he, like, rich?"
Hyerin gave an awkward laugh.
"So, he is not," Min-Ha muttered. "What now? That’s not one bit safe. How long do you think it will take before he gets his first paid job? Will he even get one?"
"Well, we already completed one."
Min-Ha was surprised.
"Did you, now?"
She was not expecting any grand performances. At best, he was a minor character or an extra.
"How long has he been an actor for?"
"A few months."
Min-Ha did not know how to feel about that.
He was not rich, but he had managed to attract a role and a manager within months? Was the guy charming? Or was Hyerin stupid?
"In fact, we are looking for a personal stylist." Hyerin looked nervous as she broached the subject. "What do you think? Want to give it a try?"
’Give it a try?’ Min-Ha’s eyes were bulging. ’This isn’t a game. Why would I join some unknown rookie actor when I am making a safe and decent living?’
Of course, Min-Ha did not say any of that.
She offered a fake smile.
"I’m sorry. You know how much I love my job."
She hated it, actually.
She had just bitched about a new actor. Why would she love it?
"Anyway, what’s your actor’s name?"
"I—I can’t tell you that."
"Oh, come on, you can tell me. Who knows, I might even know him."
That was the problem.
Hyerin was confident that Min-Ha would know him.
And she did not want one more person added to the list of contacts asking her for his autograph and phone number.
Alas, she buckled under pressure.
"Averie Quinn Auclair."
And a moment too late, Min-Ha uttered, "What?"
