Her Dark Desires-Chapter 103: A Piece Of Him

West Yeng City.

It’s been a week since they arrived in West Yeng City, and to Eliana, it has been quite an adventurous week. From mind-blowing sex to skydiving to mountain climbing and then to trying new cuisine. To Eliana, it was the best week of her life, and now she wanted to try a local dish.

Sitting at the best local dish restaurant in the city, Eliana looked at Zach, who was busy typing something in his phone, and asked, "I thought we agreed no work on our vacation." "It’s not work; I’m checking up on Ryan."

"Is he alright?"

"Yes, he’s fine." Zach said and placed his phone on the table. "Now, you have my undivided attention."

"Should we get some hotpot, pork broth to be precise, and some rice?"

"Sure." Zach replied, and his phone rang. Zach immediately silenced the call and said, "Sorry, I forgot to put my phone on silence."

"Is it Ryan?"

"Yeah, but I can talk to him later."

"Why not talk to him now? I don’t mind."

Zach sighed and stood up, saying, "Give me a minute."

Eliana nodded and watched as he left. She truly hoped Ryan was fine and wasn’t in any trouble because she knew that Zach was capable of dropping everything to ensure his brother’s safety.

A few minutes later, Zach came back from making his call and saw that his wife had already ordered for them, but the food was still untouched. "Why haven’t you eaten?" He asked.

"How can I eat without you? So is Ryan okay?" Zach sighed and said, "He is currently in the hospital, but he is fine."

"Hospital? Why is he in the hospital?"

"He is suffering the consequences of not taking care of himself. It was just a simple fever that would have been gone after taking some medicine, but instead he prolonged his treatment until his body broke down."

"But he will be fine, right?" Eliana asked, feeling worried about Ryan.

Zach smiled when he saw how worried Eliana was about his brother and said, "Don’t worry, he will be fine. He is known as the youngest captain in the army force, so I assure you his body isn’t fragile; he will be back to his feet in no time." 𝕗𝐫𝐞𝕖𝕨𝐞𝗯𝚗𝕠𝘃𝐞𝚕.𝐜𝗼𝚖

Eliana sighed in relief. "That’s great to hear." "So shall we eat?" Eliana nodded and dipped a slice of tender pork into the steaming pork broth, her eyes sparkling as she waited for the perfect moment to retrieve it.

Zach watched, amused as Eliana brought out the pork to eat. As she prepared to eat, he lightly grasped her wrist and said, "Blow on it." Eliana nodded; she was so excited to taste it that she forgot it was hot. She gently blew on the pork and then took a bite. Her eyes closed, and a soft sigh escaped her lips as the flavors melded together.

"Is it that good?" Zach chuckled.

"It’s amazing, Zach. Try it." Eliana said taking the other slice of pork from the broth, but this time intensively blowing on it before giving it to Zach. Zach opened his mouth, and the moment he tasted the pork, he understood why Eliana praised it so much.

"Amazing, right?" Eliana asked with excitement in her eyes.

Zach nodded and said, "Since you like it so much, we should come here again before leaving."

"I agree." Eliana said with a smile and continued eating.

Zach smiled seeing her eat so heartily and poured her a glass of water, saying, "Slow down; the food isn’t running away."

Eliana drank the glass of water and asked, "After eating, should we go watch a movie?" "You want to watch a movie?" Eliana nodded. "Fine, but eat slowly." Zach said, and after eating their pork broth, Eliana ordered some fried chicken and forced Zach to have some as well before finally leaving the restaurant to the movie theater.

As the couple stood in line to get their ticket, Eliana noticed how girls kept staring at Zach, and she felt annoyed but still decided to ignore them. Unfortunately, the plan to ignore them wasn’t working, and to make matters worse, a girl with short red hair walked up to them, blatantly ignored her presence, and brought out her phone, asking Zach to give her his number. Zach looked at the young girl who was holding out her phone and could also feel Eliana glare at him. He sighed and coldly replied, "I’m married."

That was when the girl glanced at Eliana and said, "Oh, that’s a shame, but it doesn’t matter; if you want to get away from your wife, I don’t mind being available."

"Aren’t you too young to be cheap?" Eliana asked with a frown. The girl in front of her looked like she was still in her teens, and it made her wonder if children of these days were this rotten.

"Excuse me?"

"Even if I wasn’t married, I still wouldn’t be interested in you."

"Because I’m young?"

"Because you are dumb, and it’s obvious you have no manners. You knew she was with me, but you ignored my wife and made stupid comments in her presence."

The girl’s face became red from Zach scolding, and she could hear the snickers from her friends behind her. They had dared her to talk to him, and she had agreed because she felt that he wouldn’t be able to turn her down after all; not only was she beautiful, but she was also rich.

"Leave, and next time before you leave your house, ensure you have developed enough good manners needed to enter society." Zach said.

"Do you know who I am? My father is this city mayor, and if I report you to him, then..."

"Now I see, so you are one of those rich brats, right? Does your dad also know that you do drugs?" Eliana asked.

"How do you..." The girl looked at where Eliana was looking and immediately covered her wrist. Not only were her hands shaking, but the needle mark of her last section was still visible.

Eliana sighed and said, "You seem like a cute girl, so I as your elder will advise you. Stop doing drugs and replace your circle with sensible people. People who care about you and are not with you because daddy is the city mayor and also be careful next time; not everyone is as nice as me; some women would even go as far as blinding the eyes you used to look at her husband, and that said woman will be me if you don’t leave my sight in the next five seconds."

The girl took a step back and bowed her head to apologize before running away. Eliana turned to Zach and said, "Wait here; I will be back real quick."

Zach immediately held her wrist before she could run away and asked, "You are not going to look for her and then pluck out her eyes, right?"

"No, I’m not. I am going to look for a solution to the problem." Eliana said and left before Zach could ask her any more questions.

A few minutes later, Eliana rushed back, holding a face cap and a black nose mask.

"I’m not wearing that," Zach immediately said. Eliana scoffed, "You say it as if you have a choice."

Zach sighed and collected the cap from her. "This isn’t fair."

"Really? So that means you like the girls attention on you; are you waiting for another one to approach you?"

"What I mean is, I am not blind to the way guys are currently looking at you. If I am wearing a face cap, shouldn’t you wear one as well?"

"Why should I? It’s not like any of them is approaching me."

"That is probably because they love their life." Zach whispered.

"What?"

"Nothing."Zach put on the face cap and then the nose mask. "Satisfied?"

Eliana smiled and said, "Perfect. Go get the tickets while I go buy the popcorn and coke." After she left, Zach was about to remove the nose mask when a middle-aged man stopped his hand. The man shook his head and said, "Happy wife, happy life. Believe me, I’m saying this from experience."

Zach was about to reply when the man was called by a woman who he assumed to be his wife, judging from the way they held each other. Even after the man left, his words kept ringing in his mind, and his plan to take off the mask was aborted.

Fortunately, Eliana took off his mask herself to feed him popcorn as they watched a romance movie.

Eliana’s eyes became watery as the movie came to an end. How cruel! The couple still got separated at the end. At least, a piece of the man she loved was still growing in her womb even as they separated. Eliana looked at Zach, who was sleeping, and touched her belly, wondering if once again a day would come for a piece of him to be growing in her womb.
