Her Dark Desires-Chapter 73: Do You Still Love Sloane?

"I did everything you asked. Amber is now married to Nolan. I have fulfilled my part of the bargain, and now it’s your turn."

Eliana sipped her cup of coffee and sighed "Delicious."

Henry frowned at her and said, "I’m not in the mood for your games."

"You may not be in the mood for my games, but you don’t have a choice but to play these games." Eliana said with a smile, "Don’t be so impatient dad, I said I will help you, and I meant it."

"Then why haven’t you given the contract that you promised me?" Henry asked angrily.

"Relax. You have no investors so how do you think you can handle a contract worth half a billion? This is why I have another proposal for you."

"What?"

"I know you are cheating on Sloane so that must mean you don’t love her anymore, right?" Eliana asked with a smile.

"What nonsense are you saying? I will never cheat on your Mother." Henry shouted.

Eliana’s smile disappeared when he denied cheating on Sloane. She brought out her phone, clicked a picture that her private investigator had sent to her, and showed it to him.

Henry widened his eyes in surprise as he saw the picture of him with another woman "How...how did you get this?"

Eliana collected her phone and said, "Now, there is no need to lie to me anymore, so let’s go back to the question. You are no longer in love with Sloane, right?"

Henry looked away in shame and said, "Sloane and I may have issues in our marriage, but we still..."

"My goodness, how did you become a businessman, being this dense?"

"What?"

"It’s a yes or no question. Do you still love Sloane, YES or No?" Eliana said, feeling annoyed at how her father couldn’t answer a simple question

"Yes, I still love her," Henry answered.

Eliana was taken aback by his reply "You still love that old witch?"

Henry sighed and said "Sloane wasn’t always like that. The first time I met her she was sweet and kind. She had a beautiful heart, she was the opposite of Stella."

"Stella? Who is that?"

"Her twin sister."

"She had a twin. So you are telling me that there are more of her in this world?" Eliana asked with a frown.

"Stella died, or rather, she was murdered by her boyfriend, who is currently in prison."

Eliana rolled her eyes and said, "Whatever, I don’t care about the death of Sloane’s twin. I was hoping you would say your love for her has died but it doesn’t matter because for you to get this contract, you have to divorce Sloane."

"What do you mean?"

"It’s fine if you didn’t understand me the first time so I will say it again. The only way for you to get back your status, wealth, and glory is for you to divorce Sloane. I mean, aren’t you tired of her always telling you that without her, you wouldn’t have been in this place? She always takes credit for your hard work and even went as far as sleeping with your business partner."

"She did that so that Jerry would invest in my business, and it was a one-time thing," Henry said. He hates it whenever he is reminded of his wife’s infidelity.

"Oh, you poor thing. You think it was a one-time thing."

Henry looked at Eliana confusedly and frowned when she suddenly laughed.

"You are really clueless. Sloane and Jerry’s affair lasted for a month."

"You are lying."

"Remember the time you went on a business trip, and that time happened to be a holiday period at the boarding school? I heard her phone calls, and if you don’t believe me, you can also ask Nanny Susan how many times Sloane returned home the next morning when you were gone." Eliana said with a smile, she laughed again when she saw the look on Henry’s face and asked, "Are you angry? How hypocritical, so you can cheat but she can’t."

"It’s not the same thing," Henry said angrily.

Eliana scoffed when she heard that and said "How you plan to handle your hurt ego isn’t my concern. I just need to know one thing and that is if you are divorcing Sloane or not."

For a few seconds, Henry said nothing, and Eliana was afraid that he was going to say no until she heard him say.

"I need some time to think about it."

Even though Eliana was dissatisfied with his answer, she didn’t show it. One of the things Zach has taught her was that she should never show her true emotions to her opponent, or it would be used against her, and sadly, every member of the Moore family has become her opponent, including her father.

"You have until tomorrow to give me your answer."

"I need a week."

"Fine, three days."

"Eliana."

"Three days or nothing. I am the only one you need, Dad. I am the only one who can truly help you, me, and no one else."

"You have changed, Eliana. I see so much hatred in your eyes that I am unable to recognize you now." Henry said with sadness in his voice.

"You are years too late to start giving me lectures, Henry, so save them for yourself. Three days or nothing and when I say nothing, I mean nothing. Enjoy your weekend." Eliana said with a smile and walked out of the cafe, leaving Henry to his thoughts.

A few minutes after Eliana left, Henry received a message from her. It was a video and when he clicked on it, he saw his wife and Jerry on his bed having sex. He quickly off his phone and remembered during the party when Eliana said she had a video. He never thought she was serious, but seeing what was sent to him shows that she wasn’t bluffing, and it was also her way of telling him that he would receive nothing and he had just three days to make up his mind about the divorce.
