Heretic Trainer: The Gym Is My Cultivation Method-Chapter 466: Why Is There Music
Valtor rested his axe on his shoulder and stood there for a second, grinning like an idiot.
And then he moved his left hand and summoned a small transparent sphere.
Corvin frowned slightly. "What is that thing?"
Valtor looked at it and then back at him. "This? Just a Corem. You don’t need to understand it. Just watch..."
He then tightened his grip on the sphere and began to focus his power on his hand, causing his hand to ignite in flames.
The Corem got burned, but instead of melting, it turned into a red color, the same color as Valtor’s flames.
After being changed, Valtor lifted the Corem and inserted it into an open slot in his axe.
CLICK!
The moment it went inside, music began playing from the axe. The music was fast, heavy, and quite loud, surprising everyone.
Corvin frowned, not understanding him. "Just what are you doing?"
Valtor ignored him. He raised his axe up high, and then he roared out loud. "TRANSFORM!"
He slammed his left hand onto the Corem and twisted it.
WHHRRR!
The music shifted, becoming louder and stronger, and then some phrases echoed from Valtor’s axe.
"Blood burns... bones roar... I won’t stop anymore..."
"Break me if you can... I’ll just come back stronger..."
At the same time... Valtor’s body began to change. A tight black suit appeared and began to cover his body.
After Valtor’s body was fully covered, flame patterns began to ignite across it, forming some armor plates.
His axe also changed, becoming bigger and sharper, with edges glowing with hot flames.
Valtor stepped forward and swung the axe once and then slammed it down beside him.
He struck a final pose, and then...
"FLAME BERSERKER!"
Dahlia and the others blinked. They were speechless, unsure what to say.
After a moment, she finally opened her mouth. "...What the hell is that?"
She looked back at Garion, then at him. "Since when could he do that?"
Before Garion could say anything, Arden stepped forward slightly and smiled. "It’s our new product."
Dahlia turned to him in confusion. "Product?"
Rynor nodded, crossing his arms. "Yeah. You could say it’s like masked warriors from the novels in the library."
Seeing how confused Dahlia still was, Arden explained it. "It’s just a transformation device. It’s basically instant armor."
Dahlia narrowed her eyes. "Okay then, but why is his armor so thin?"
Clara nodded, tilting her head. "Yeah, it doesn’t look like proper armor."
Seira crossed her arms, unimpressed. "How is that supposed to protect him?"
Arden only smirked, pushing his glasses up slightly. "Come on, girls. It’s already in the modern era."
He pointed back at Valtor. "That thin armor that looked like full-body spandex is even more durable than steel armor."
He continued explaining without waiting for the girls to respond.
Arden then took out the same axe and sphere that Valtor had used from his spatial ring to explain it more clearly.
He lifted the axe slightly. "This is the transformation weapon, and before you ask, yes, there are other models available that are not limited to axes."
Clara raised a brow. "So, for other models, can we customize them?" 𝚏𝕣𝕖𝚎𝚠𝚎𝚋𝚗𝐨𝐯𝕖𝕝.𝕔𝐨𝕞
Arden nodded. "Yeah, you can customize it not even as a weapon, but there is one thing you need to know."
He lifted the clear sphere in his other hand. "This one is called Corem and is the most important component in this system."
Dahlia narrowed her eyes. "Is the Corem customizable? I noticed Valtor’s is red."
Arden nodded, tapping it lightly. "Yeah, but it depends on your power. Valtor’s power is flame, so his became red."
Dahlia nodded, understanding. "So it adapts to the user’s power."
Arden nodded, pointing at the slot of the axe. "Yeah, and to use it, just put it in the slot in your transformation device."
He put the axe down. "And because of this slot, if you want to customize yours, you’ll need space for it, so the device won’t be small."
Dahlia and the other girls understood it, but there was one thing that they didn’t understand.
But they still had one question, and Clara was the one who asked it. "Yeah, but there’s one thing..."
She pointed at Valtor. "Why does it play music when you transform?"
She mimicked Valtor’s earlier stance. "And what was that pose about?"
Rynor and Rynar immediately laughed after hearing that.
Rynar crossed his arms and shrieked. "Of course it’s for style."
Rynor also added. "It was like an intimidation factor for the opponent. You can ask Master about it; he was the one who designed it."
All of them turned at the same time toward Garion, and Garion himself just smiled.
He smiled awkwardly as he explained. "To fight properly, you need motivation, and that pose and song are for that."
He pointed to Valtor. "It’s just a psychological boost to make you more confident."
Dahlia sighed, but a small smile appeared. "You men are really ridiculous, but still I can’t find fault in that."
Garion let out a small breath. "Okay, enough talking; let’s just watch the show. You will see how good it was in action."
Dahlia nodded slowly. "Yeah."
Clara leaned forward slightly, clearly excited. "Just take it slow, sister. Soon we will have a really fun show."
Seira crossed her arms. "Let’s see if it’s worth all that noise."
The twins smirked. "Of course it is. Just watch closely. You all won’t regret it."
One by one, they turned their full attention back to the fight.
Corvin stood still, watching Valtor carefully. His gaze moved over Valtor’s new outfit.
He didn’t look impressed at all. "I don’t care what you’re doing, and that outfit... won’t be able to save you."
Valtor rolled his shoulders once, smirking. "I beg to differ. This armor isn’t here to protect me."
He lifted his axe and pointed it straight at Corvin. "But it’s to help me make your life a living hell!"
Corvin frowned as he directly entered the shadow once again, preparing to use another hidden strike like before.
