Hero Hack: Reversing Heroes and Raising Harem-Chapter 210: Scavratt Got Roasted
Chapter 210: Scavratt Got Roasted
Blazren stepped out of the flames, his new form towering over Scavratt like a living inferno.
The ground under his feet glowed red. He took a slow step forward.
"Time’s up, Ratman. You’re finished."
Scavratt staggered, claws scraping the concrete.
"You... can’t kill me!"
He swung his [Decay Chain Whip], grabbing onto broken metal pieces scattered across the battlefield.
The chain wrapped tightly, dragging more rust into his core.
[Iron Feed Core] activated, flooding him with energy as the metal crumbled.
"Now that I’m stronger, I’m gonna kill you."
"It doesn’t matter even if you got a class."
He closed his eyes, chest rising and falling with effort.
The rust cloud around him churned. Then it exploded outward in a toxic wave.
[Rustburst Eruption] raced across the ground, orange-black rust curling and sputtering toward Blazren.
Scavratt laughed. "Take that, you flame bastard!"
Blazren didn’t skip a beat.
He stepped forward and ignited the air around him. He leapt.
[Infernal Pounce] sent him crashing into the rust cloud.
Flames licked the spreading decay, turning rust to molten metal and smoke.
Scavratt staggered as his armor fizzled and fell in clumps.
Scavratt clenched his teeth, hand scrabbling against his shoulder.
He growled. "What trick is this?"
Blazren didn’t answer. He raised his head and let out a thunderous roar.
[Scorching Roar] shook the ground.
A wave of heat blasted outward, torching rust particles mid-flight, scorching Scavratt’s fur and armor.
The rust cloud retreated, sacking and hissing like a dying beast.
Scavratt fell to his knees.
His tail twitched, and he coughed, smoke drifting from his mouth.
Blazren walked closer, fire crackling in the air.
He stopped a few steps away, heat radiating from his body.
"You were too dangerous," Blazren said. "Time to die."
Scavratt shook his head.
"No... I can’t die yet. Not before I find that bastard... Heavenly Demon... And get my revenge."
Blazren’s flame eyes narrowed.
"Revenge? You lost that right when you became a beast."
"You survived a beast test and became a beast slave. You lost your fight already."
Scavratt spat on the ground. "You don’t know my pain."
Blazren flexed his fists. Flame curled around his claws.
"Let’s end this."
He leapt again, big flames trailing behind his strike.
His claws burned hotter as he moved.
[Blazing Mane Shift] flared to life.
Blazren’s body erupted in living fire, flames writhing around his limbs as he sprinted like a lion closing the gap.
Scavratt tried to scramble backward, but his burnt iron armor cracked.
He raised his chains.
[Corrode Line Carve]
He scraped the ground, leaving rust lines behind.
Each line slowed Blazren’s footstep, melting under the heat as he ran.
Flames consumed the rust trail but slowed his advance for a heartbeat.
That was all Scavratt had.
He smiled, blood pooling at his mouth as anticipation burned in his eyes.
"I win."
Scavratt lunged, claws aiming for Blazren’s leg.
But Blazren blocked with his burning paw. Sparks flew as metal hit flame.
The impact rattled both of them. Blazren’s flame aura flared brighter.
Scavratt staggered, armor melting fast.
Blazren grabbed Scavratt by the throat with his other burning hand.
Scavratt stared up, defiant even as pain seared through him.
"Burn," Blazren whispered.
He squeezed. Flames burst outward.
Scavratt arched his body, claws digging into concrete.
A final gasp burned from his throat.
He slumped, the chain falling from his hand with a dull clang.
The rust cloud evaporated in thin smoke.
Blazren dropped the chain and stepped back.
The fire around him subsided until it glowed low.
He exhaled once, dust floating in the smoky air.
He looked down at Scavratt’s body, now still and cold, rusted armor broken.
He flexed his fists and inspected the scorched ground.
"It’s over."
Then Blazren turned, looking around the ruined street at broken metal.
He could feel the power solidifying inside him.
He closed his eyes, drawing a slow, blazing breath.
He felt the new class deep within—[Blazefang Sentinel].
He flexed an embered claw, watching sparks fall.
The class had given him more than power. It had given him control.
He stepped over Scavratt’s body and walked away.
Every step left embers where he tread. His roar had ended; his class had begun.
---
The black wolfman stood on a rooftop, arms crossed.
He growled low under his breath.
"So Blazren awakened a class."
He looked down at his clawed hands, tightening them slowly.
"Peak A-Rank, and now even stronger. This wasn’t part of the plan."
He had seen the entire fight. The moment Blazren exploded with fire.
The way Scavratt got crushed in seconds.
It wasn’t just power—it was complete domination.
The wolfman clenched his jaw.
"He wasn’t supposed to become that strong."
He glanced at what remained of the battle site.
Blazren was gone now, having walked away.
The flames were dying. Only a few glowing embers remained.
The wolfman leaped down from the rooftop.
His eyes scanned the area.
"Fine. If Scavratt is dead, I can still use his body."
"That class serum needs more testing."
He moved toward the spot where Scavratt had fallen.
He reached out.
But stopped.
His eyes widened.
"No..."
Scavratt’s body was gone. Nothing left but black ash.
The wolfman crouched down and ran his claws through it.
It crumbled between his fingers.
"All of it... burned."
He stared for a moment, unmoving.
Then he slammed his fist into the dirt, creating a small crater.
"That damn lion. He burned it all. The body. The sample. Everything."
He stood up again, tail flicking behind him.
His breath came out slowly and heavily.
"That corpse could’ve given me a better serum... and now it’s dust."
He looked toward the sky, eyes burning.
"This setback... I’ll remember it."
He turned and stepped back into the shadows.
His body faded into the darkness between two collapsed buildings.
"But next time, Blazren. Next time, I’ll make sure you fall."
His voice faded as he disappeared from sight.
"And I’ll make sure the Heavenly Demon burns with you."
