Chapter 84: "The Real Tyler

Tyler's POV

I raised my hand, stopping Tyler in his tracks.

"One more step, and your teeth will be on the floor," I said coldly.

For a moment, there was silence. Then, Tyler burst out laughing.

"Logan, come on. It was all a prank," he said, his voice laced with amusement. "I'm not dating Naomi. It was all a plan."

I stared at him, my entire body stiff.

"Do I look like a fucking kid to you?" My voice was low but sharp, each word cutting like a blade. "Do I have a pacifier in my mouth that makes you think I'd believe that bullshit?"

Tyler sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. "Logan, you don't understand. It's risky for people to find out about... what happened between us."

A bitter laugh escaped my lips.

Risky?

This bastard really just said that.

I just stood there, looking at him, wondering how I never saw him for what he truly was.

Was this the person I had spent years crushing on? The one I thought I could trust?

I had been so fucking blind.

And the worst part? I had actually started to believe him. If Naomi hadn't come in, I would've forgiven him. I would've let myself fall for his lies again, and one day, when it was convenient for him, he would've thrown me away just like he did today.

He would've hidden in some dark corner and made it seem like I was the one forcing myself on him.

Disgust filled my chest.

"You're really something else, Tyler," I muttered, shaking my head.

"Logan, stop overreacting," he said, his voice snapping me back to reality.

For the first time, his voice sounded disgusting to me. It made my stomach churn.

"You're acting like a child," he continued. "You should look at the bigger picture. I was just helping us both. If you can stop being dramatic and forgive me, we can move on. We can still see each other. In secret."

I blinked.

He actually had the audacity to say that.

I let out a slow breath, trying to contain the fury rising inside me.

"Tyler," I said, my voice dangerously calm. "Wait a fucking second. Do you hear yourself? Do you actually think before you speak?"

"Of course I do," he scoffed. "Everything I did was to keep people off our tails."

I let out a sharp, bitter laugh.

"And you expect me to believe that shit?" I stepped closer to him, eyes burning with rage.

"You didn't tell that bitch Naomi you hated me, you told her I'm a stranger and creep and you have never ever set yours eyes on me." I scoffed, my voice dripping with venom.

Tyler's expression darkened instantly. "Watch your mouth, Logan. You don't get to talk about her like that."

I let out a sharp, bitter laugh. "Oh, now you're standing up for her? Now you're ready to fight for someone? Funny, you never did that for me." My eyes burned with anger. "And this is the bitch you swore you weren't dating? The one you claimed meant nothing?"

I took a step closer, my voice dropping to a harsh whisper. "Oh, Tyler, you are a fucking bastard."

"Don't say that, Logan. Please, just listen to me. It was all a misunderstanding."

"Misunderstanding, you say?" I sneered, my rage only growing.

A misunderstanding?

A misunderstanding?!

I snapped.

"A misunderstanding that you denied even knowing me?" I spat, voice shaking with rage.

"A misunderstanding that you lied about what happened between us that night?"

"A misunderstanding that you called me a creep in front of that bitch?"

Tyler flinched.

Good.

I wasn't done.

"You made me look like some obsessed, desperate freak while you stood there pretending to be the fucking victim."

Tyler opened his mouth, but I didn't let him speak.

"You don't get to say shit," I growled. "You want to talk about misunderstandings? Let's talk about what you really deserve."

I took a step closer, watching as his face tensed.

"You deserve everything that happened to you," I said coldly.

"You deserve growing up without a father figure."

His body stiffened.

"You deserve your mother getting kidnapped and beaten to a pulp."

His hands clenched into fists.

"You deserve your dad abandoning your mom."

His breathing grew uneven.

"You deserve getting cheated on by Alexis."

His jaw clenched.

"And if I could go back in time, I'd make sure I was the one Alexis cheated on you with. A million times over."

That did it.

Tyler lunged.

He grabbed my shirt and shoved me against the wall, the impact sending a sharp pain through my back.

I smirked.

"That's the best you can do?" I taunted, staring straight into his eyes. "Come on, Tyler. You can do better."

I saw it then—the way his hands shook, the way his eyes burned with something close to devastation.

But I didn't stop.

I leaned in, voice dropping into something cruel and mocking.

"I'm going to fuck every single girl you date," I whispered, watching his face twist in anger.

"That's going to be your punishment for not standing up for me. For betraying me."

His breath came out ragged.

"Don't," he warned.

I grinned.

"Oh, you better start praying. You better keep your relationships a fucking secret, because any girl you don't hide? She's going to be mine."

Tyler's hands tightened on my shirt. His whole body was trembling with rage.

"If you try it," he seethed, "I will kill you."

I met his eyes, tilting my head.

"You think you haven't already?" I murmured.

"You think the way you denied me today, the way you let your bitch of a girlfriend call me a creep, didn't already kill me?"

I shoved his hands off me and stepped back, watching as he stood there, silent and seething.

And for the first time...

I saw it.

I saw that I had finally broken him.

Just like he broke me.

"Let's play a game."

"How about you take a guess of the first person I'm going to start with?"

"I know you know her."

"Take.... a..... guessss, Tyler."

"Her name begins with N and ends with I."
