His Beloved Treasure-Chapter 1650 - 460: The Beginning and the End (Part 6)_4
"Hmm! Push it in!"
Mu Yichen glanced outside casually, then withdrew his hand from Qin Mu’s chin.
But before he could put his hand back in his pocket, Qin Mu grabbed it and lifted it to her mouth. Without caring who might be watching, she bit down between his thumb and forefinger.
Mu Yichen...
The staff lowered their heads, not daring to look inside.
Mu Yichen stared straight at her, unable to say a word. Lately, she seemed to be burning with pent-up anger, and if she wanted to vent it on him, so be it.
As Mu Yichen thought about it, he forgave her for leaving a deep purple bite mark between his two fingers. Blood seemed ready to spill.
He looked down, his eyes filled with a wicked gleam as he looked back at Mrs. Mu through his fingers.
Qin Mu, however, didn’t look at him. She turned her head toward the restaurant area.
After delivering the meal, the staff closed the door and left. Mu Yichen sat down, while Qin Mu already picked up her chopsticks to eat.
She seemed to have a good appetite, taking big bites.
"Eat slowly! It’s more elegant!"
Mu Yichen kindly reminded her.
Hearing this, Qin Mu started eating even more voraciously.
Mu Yichen chuckled helplessly, knowing she was deliberately opposing him.
Qin Mu couldn’t continue eating large bites for long. She was used to chewing slowly and couldn’t fit much in her mouth.
Thoughtfully, Mu Yichen served her soup and gently placed it in front of her.
Qin Mu, without hesitation, picked up the bowl and drank the soup, nearly choking.
Mu Yichen watched her intently, suddenly feeling a pang of heartache.
"The things I said to Anna, you couldn’t understand, but Anna did!"
Mu Yichen explained to her in a low voice.
"Are you saying I’m stupid?"
After struggling to swallow her food, Qin Mu looked up, her eyes filled with tears, stubbornly questioning him.
"If you were stupid, would I be interested in you?"
Mu Yichen was also a bit angry at her for belittling herself.
Hearing this, Qin Mu felt his words made some sense, so she held the bowl and slowly ate some vegetables.
"Unlike you, I’ve always been certain that I’ll have only one woman in my life, so you don’t have to worry about other women taking me away. They can’t."
Mu Yichen further explained.
But the more he explained, the more uneasy Qin Mu felt, as she thought he wasn’t explaining but rather insulting her.
Talking as if he were a saint while belittling her worth.
Qin Mu had never seen such a self-praising, belittling man, and she chewed her food forcefully.
"Did you hear what I said?"
Mu Yichen watched her chew forcefully as if she hadn’t heard a word he said.
"Do you know what I most want to do right now?"
Qin Mu looked up at him and asked directly.
"What?"
Mu Yichen questioned.
"To dump all this rice on your head!"
Qin Mu stared at him with resentment, boldly expressing her stubborn and forthright thoughts.
Mu Yichen...
"So you’d better not provoke me now, just eat your meal quietly, or don’t blame me for doing just that!"
Qin Mu glanced at him again, continuing her threat.
Mu Yichen dared not say another word, nor did he want to eat, so he leaned back in his chair, watching Mrs. Mu eat.
Mrs. Mu finished eating, drank another bowl of soup, let out a sigh, her face turning red and white with anger, then picked up the red wine next to her, chugging it down.
"Finished eating?"
Mu Yichen asked again.
"If you nag any more, do you believe I’ll throw up on you?"
Upon hearing his voice, thinking he was going to nag again, Qin Mu immediately spoke up.
Mu Yichen looked at her, and sure enough, he became quiet.
Qin Mu stood up: "I’m finished eating, President Mu probably hasn’t, right? Maybe because I’m here, it’s making you lose your appetite? Then I’ll take my leave, President Mu, enjoy your meal!"
Qin Mu glanced at the raw dishes and rice on the table, then prepared to leave.
Mu Yichen coldly looked at the table but, as she walked past him, he reached out and grabbed her wrist.
Qin Mu thought her arm might be useless by the end of today!
Mu Yichen didn’t intend to let her go, just suppressing his temper, he sighed and raised his eyes, his deep, dark eyes catching her resentful, aggrieved expression.
"Do you really want to drive me crazy? Have you forgotten lying in my arms, telling me I was the only one in your heart?"
Mu Yichen coldly questioned her.
"I’d like to counter President Mu with a question: since you remember that, then why are you angry now? With a woman who only has you in her heart, what are you angry about?"
Qin Mu’s eyes inexplicably welled up, yet she refused to cry, still unable to understand why he was angry when he knew her heart.
