His Witch Queen-Chapter 129: Real Royalty!

The sudden and the long voice finally made Alice wake up from her deep slumber. While sweat covered her entire face, she brought her hands near her face and tapped it gently.

But that didn’t mean her eyes didn’t bulge out as the one who had captured her heart. Subconsciously, rotating her head, Alice saw the transparent curtains covering their bed. But this wasn’t serious care either.

Averting her gaze beside her, Alice saw in the direction of Cyrus, whose body was trembling from something. He was mumbling under his breath, in fact, the giant frozen curve down his forehead. ’Cyrus....’

She was unable to guess what he was whispering but suddenly, his condition made her worried. "Cyrus..." keeping her hand gently on his body, she saw that he was already burning hot. "Cyrus..wake up...Cyrus.." softly, Alice used her hand to tap on his cheeks and bring him back to his consciousness.

It was easy since Cyrus wasn’t even hearing what was young. He kept on traveling, his entire body was betraying his mind. All that she felt was that he was currently in the worst nightmare.

But this wasn’t the easiest thing to pull him out.

Looking here and there, Alice’s sight caught the jar filled with water. Picking it up, she splashed it on Cyrus’s face without thinking twice. And as expected, something did make him finally snap open his widened eyes to look here and there with the shock.

"Cyrus....thank god..you finally open your eyes.."

Alice didn’t know what happened to her. However, seeing him in that condition, made her heart clutch all her breath together.

A sigh escaped her lips, but that didn’t stop Cyrus from asking, "Why have you thrown water on me!?"

"Because you..were in the nightmare, I guess...What happened to you?!" Alice wasn’t only alarming but till now, she understood many things.

There is something that disturbed him tremendously. Even though he’s trying his best to keep himself away from speaking, that doesn’t mean she is any blind person to not realize his worries either.

Initially, he got up from the bed to take a deep breath. Calming his nerves, he finally nodded his head to stabilize his mind and then looked at Alice. "Weren’t you asleep too?"

"I-I got up for drinking water..and then I saw you like this.." Alice lied.

"Hmm..I understand." Cyrus didn’t press the actions but that didn’t stop Alice from questing again, "What is bothering you, Cyrus..please tell me...You Are..making me worried.."

"Why are you getting worried then?" Cyrus’s words struck her hard, and this was the ultimate thing. "You shouldn’t be getting affected. Aren’t we simply married for the alliance? C’mon Princess, there is no such connection either among us..."

"B-But..." Alice had no answers but that didn’t mean she wasn’t able to refute.

In her mind, she had found dozens of reasons to rebel against his wordings. But as if, her mind wall was solid that there wasn’t time to do so. "Even if we are in this alliance, we are staying in this chamber. If something will concern you, so will it affect me too? So please, apprise me what is the problem with you."

’What am I supposed to tell you? What are the plans to kill you and your father?’ Cyrus’s mind didn’t work.

A soft chuckle left his lips at his own imagination. Probably this tigress will go right now and kill King Almen with her own hands.

"Princess Alice...things aren’t under...my..control anymore.’’ were the simple words he told her but that didn’t give her inner satisfaction to realize things. "What isn’t under another? Has anyone said anything to you?"

"I heard things." was the simple and brief moment, Alce found things to be extremely weird. ’What has he heard for him to be in such a nightmare too?’ She was clueless in her place.

As Cyrus kept his hand on both of his knees, he couldn’t help but lower his eyelids. "I heard something today, Alice..very bad. It can turn both of our lives."

"W-what did you hear out then?"

"Something..which can ruin our future, as I said earlier. And I think, we will need to take the appropriate action on this very soon." Cyrus told her honestly and fairly, which made Alice’s heart skip a beat again.

But this wasn’t enough for her to manage the thoughts inside her brain. "What kind of action should we take?"

"You should sleep for now." was the simple thing told her, but before Alice could have protested, Cyrus brought his hand near her forehead.

The sudden touch acted as the magic on her skin. Princess Alice’s lips parted but there seeing, no words came out.

All she did was rest her head again on the bed, and Cyrus’s magic worked very well on her head.

Alice was once again drifting back to her sleep on her tender pillow. Seeing her fall asleep made Cyrus take a deep breath.

He instantly removed his blanket to wear his regular armor and the clothes again. As if, things weren’t easy for him to digest and then, he simply walked out of his chamber to walk in a certain direction.

In the middle of the night, there was only one place he went straight to, and there was someone he saw waiting for him as well. Walking ahead, Cyrus finally came behind the man to finally ask, "So, you have all the answers which I want."

"So you read my actions very well.’’ General Ryan muttered under his breath, only to receive a stern nod from Cyrus’side. "I know that it was you, who deliberately made the noise of walking so that I could have followed you guys back to the basement."

"In the end, it was once again you who let me understand from where I will have to open the door from the wall. I caught you.....But I don’t understand, why is it you?"

Hearing this, General Ryan’s smile didn’t fade away. But then, he shifted his eyes gain took at Cyrus, with amusement, "You know that you aren’t King’s child, do you?"

Once again hearing this, Cyrus’s heart hammered. There was no space left for the talks on this anymore since that was what lay in front of him now.

He isn’t King’s child.

"I know this now...I’m not the firstborn, so I am I not the Crowned Prince."

"You are the Crown Prince." General Ryan told him honestly, which blew Cyrus’s brain.

How do these things work?

"How am I supposed to be the Crown Prince of...I’m not the firstborn of the King?" Cyrus once again asked, this time, general Ryan kept quiet on this topic.

He effortlessly changed the lining without tracing the insufficient question, "I want you to understand that I’m not the one to answer your questions. But there is someone who can give you answers to everything. All you need to know is the truth that is hidden, beyond the graves. What you need to know about your powers and everything..there is a man who can answer all."

"Who is he?"

"Somewhere in the woods, far away from this land. Near the Ontex Empire." General Ryan told honesty, which blew Cyrus’s mind for a minute.

How is that possible that another vampire who is there in Ontex Empire knows about them.

As if General Ryan understood his concern too, Ryan burst the bubble, "Listen, I can simply advise you on things. If you wish to save your wife, then hear me out. Go away from this pace tonight itself and gather the army, Cyrus. I will be your eyes and ears here, and you will have to return back to get your Kingdom."

However, hearing this from general Ryan’s mouth simply seems to be absorbing Cyrus’s eyes. How was he able to guess that he wasn’t a Royal.

So shall he actually take over the Kingdom too?

"Ryan, don’t turn things around. You already know that I’m not Royalty. Why shall I...take over this kingdom if it isn’t mine?" Prince Cyrus was standing in the middle of the questions which didn’t distinguish the desire to know more.

As if, understanding his concerns too, General Ryna simply smiled at the Prince. His eyes curve upwards in the crystal moon before saying, "Will you believe my words if I say that the real King isn’t the real King?"

"Will you believe me if I say that..many things happened centuries ago, and you are the real Crowned Prince, no one else? Will it make sense to you, right now?" In return, Cyrus had given a solid shake.

There was no way anything like this will make sense because inches, all these things are already full of useless proofs. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝙬𝙚𝓫𝒏𝓸𝓿𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝙤𝓶

But that didn’t shake Cyrus’s confidence.

As if slowly and steadily Cyrus was trying to adapt to these changes around him, he still managed to question again, but this time all with the power that rested in his heart, "Do you think I can defeat the King? Will anyone support me in this?"

Hearing the question, General Ryan smiled, and the smile fully reached up to his eyes, "You know what? I have been waiting for this time for ages when the true Royalty will take over the Kingdom. You are the one and you will be one, just listen to what I’m saying.."

"Go ahead and leave the Kingdom right now, with your wife. Go travel to the North and visit an empty Castle, reside there for today. Because tomorrow is the day when the King will try to kidnap Alice and take her as the bait for an experiment."

"Save her tonight. Otherwise, she will be gone tomorrow for sure, and no one will be able to see her again."
