Chapter 181: Ready to die!?

The time progressed and the palace was once again restored to its normal pace. Everyone was soothing back from the pain of the death of a prince Dominic.

Yet that doesn’t mean that their life will halt in the middle. Princess Alice had been all ready to learn all the powers she poses within her body. The same went for Cyrus, who earned all the techniques from Kian. Knowing how powerful they both are, also increased their curiosity with sometimes, shocked them.

Four days have already passed since the time Cyrus confessed his feelings. While everyone felt that the peace was beginning and Alice forgot about her mission, then they were wrong in that place.

It was already night in the Suzania kingdom. Everyone has retarded for their beds and were sleeping in their chamber with utmost peace. So was the case with Lady Ira. She was sleeping beside Second Man Dominic. Those eyes were entirely closed, chest raising and lowering in deep breath.

But unexpectedly, those eyes reopened in one snap. Her gaze went straight out of the window to view nothing but absolute darkness. There was the sky and the stars that entered into her sight. ’But I did see the shadow there...’

Her senses were working better in the dreams. However, resisting her temptation, Lady Ira closed her eyes once again. She tried best to go back to sleep and not think much of the scene.

Yes, this caused chaos again. Again, her eyes doubted what she just saw. It appeared to be not totally her imagination, or was it? She herself was in total hell.

But this time, Lady Ira got up on her bed. For once, she watched Second Man sleeping and laying in his dreamland and then her eyes narrowed. As she deviated her gaze back, it didn’t go unmissed through her eyes that something was surely there near the window.

Lady Ira took the light steps and approached the stilt window. Even though her breath was halting in the middle, her eyes were still sharper than most of the gazes.

As she walked closer, her eyes didn’t catch a single sight to behold. It made her mind run in circles as the frown turned deeper. ’But I did feel someone’s presence nearby...’

Was she simply hallucinating?

Maybe, Ira concluded. But this desam of hers broke very soon, since the same shadow drew her attention near the door of the chamber.

The door of their chamber wss wide open, enough to give her a mini heart attack currently. "Which maid opened it!?" Her teeth gritted.

She walked there without making such a voice in order to not disturb her husband. She was ready to close the door but before, her eyes took the peak of the lobbies on all sides.

There was absolutely no one. No soldier to guard their chamber? How is that possible?

A grunt hunted in her stomach. Something inflammable burned under her skin and this ruined Ira’s mood of the night.

Without further delay, Ira walked out from her chamber. She stepped towards the other part of the lobbies, holding her breath at the bay, "Is there anyone here!? Who’s here!?"

"Look, if you are trying to joke then you don’t know who I am!" Lady Ira’s shrill voice was trembling badly. She has clutched her hands tightly, in hope to not let her heart die.

But this didn’t bring anyone out from the darkest lobbies. Out of the blue, she realized that the lobbies appeared to be longer than before. It didn’t look the same and this caused more turmoil.

’I better go and return...’ with this thought ringing in her brain, Lady Ira turned around. But what she watched was breathtaking and terrifying. What caught straight up to her eyes was the sight of a man standing away from her.

There was a sword in the man’s hand, with his face turning murderous. There were lines on the man’s face from which the blood was dripping down his face.

"No...no....AGHHHH!!!"

Lady Ira’s eyes bulged. She brought her hand near her mouth to hold herself from gasping. Subconsciously, she took a few steps back with the ghost ghosting her right now.

"WHO THE HELL ARE YOU?" Lady Ira didn’t show any courage right now.

Her body trembled worsley than ever. Those teeths got shakier with her breath getting deeper. Without getting a review of the situation, Lady Ira took the step back to run away from the spot.

She had no idea in which direction she ran. All she knew was to get away from that ghosted man and walk back in the lobbies in the deepest corner.

The shock didn’t leave her mind. She had clutched her heart in the rightest manner right now. Holding her nightgown, she ran far away from her own chamber.

But after a certain point, Lady Ira’s legs gave up. She took the support of the pillar to get her breath back, "W-who.. can.. that be?"

The turmoil didn’t leave back so easily. It raised several questions in her mind. Those horror filled faces give a clear instinct that her mind went numb.

Yet just when she lifted her eyes from the ground, it was greeted with another sign. The same man was standing just in front of her. With a closer look, she caught his one eye to be exactly filled with red pigment and another being closed.

There were numerous cuts on his face, bleeding that covered his skin. "You thought running away could save you?"

"Hahahaha...." The voice echoed in the lobby. At this moment, Lady Ira was thunderstruck. Her knees were giving up, and she was ready to throw up bright now.

But it didn’t give her enough of a chance. The murderous man grabbed her neck with the tighter grip, pulling her up from the ground.

"Y-you....l...l..leave..." Straight Away, Lady Ira’s hands were wrapped around the tight grip. She tried her best to remove it past.

But it appeared impossible. At the same time, she noted the smirk on the man’ face, shouting the evident happiness.

"Be ready to die, you lady killer."
