At the same time, Alice was standing near the door of Ira’s chamber.

She heard everything that Lady Ira said to her daughter and this brought a remarkable smile down on her face.

"You are improving then before. I guess, in a few more days, you will actually gain more control over your powers." Forex commented, to which Alice smiled back, "It is nice to hear praise."

"It is because of your mother. She was a quick learner too." Forex told her bluntly and this made her heart to crease with the sorrow.

However, at the same time, Alice straightened up her back. She walked forward towards Forex before lifting her eyelashes, "There’s something I want to know from you."

"If you can sense the future and death, then you must have known by now that Dominic’s death wasn’t simple. It wasn’t due to simply bad health.’’The words rolled from her lips to view the expressions of Forex’ face remaining the same.

Forex didn’t mutter anything. He kept absolutely quiet. He brought his hand behind his body and started to drink the water from the jar that was kept at a certain distance. But Alice’s budding curiosity never lowered to this time.

"Do you know how Lady Ira killed my brother?" she finally bluntly asked, and this made Forex turn around. He faced her with a twitch over his lips, "So you do know that it is Second lady."

"I have known this for quite some time. It was Dominic who told me before his death."

"Then you must have known about her tactics too, don’t you?" Forex asked with the wicked voice and this was enough to give hints. Alice walked ahead, with her curiosity reaching its peak. "No.."

"Tsk tsk...incomplete information." Forex’s remark didn’t bring any defeat in her heart. She was still very much aware about various things that were still kept in the dark.

"I want to know now. What did you sense?" Alice once again questioned him, and he smiled at her face, "There is black magic. Dark magic. She is using it in the entire palace..."

"Black Magic...?"

"Yes. That magic which isn’t found now at times. It is forbidden."

His words shook Alice’s world. As she wrapped her hand near her dress, it didn’t take much time for her to deviate from her taken back face. ’She dares to do that?’ it ruptured her soul.

So, the black magic was practiced in their palace and no one had any clue?

How worst were they? ’Did Lady Ira take the help of that to kill brother?’ This suited best with the circumstances and her current behavior. So the sudden death of her brother can be explained in this way as best.
