Alice, Kian and Forex saw it all that happened in the sky. They could imagine how Cyrus and King Almen faced a worse battle in the sky and just like that, beneath the floor was shaken. They felt themselves strumming with the thunder....
"No..N..." Alice’s eyes did view but her heart wasn’t ready to absorb what she watched. She didn’t crave for anything else except to know whether her husband is well or not. But to be precise, she was clueless what exactly took place, why was there even bash happening?
But to burst her query, it was Kian who described in her shock state,"Cyrus used the second option, princess." 𝒻𝘳ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝒷𝘯ℴ𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝑐ℴ𝑚
Hearing this, Alice turned around to look at Kian with a deep frown look, "W-what second option?"
"To kill King Almen. It was decided that if Prince Cyrus will not be able to kill Almen despite the multiple times, this would be the last resort. There is a dagger that could kill Almen and to be sure of his death...the option was for Prince Cyrus to burst himself..."
"WHAT RUBBISH!"
Alice took steps back as her heart thumb in her chest. It didn’t stop her from reacting as she could find it to be utter nonsense that was poured from his mouth in front of her. How was it possible for him to just give his life like that? Wasn’t he fighting for the kingdom....for her?
Alice wanted to accept the vision and even the soldiers around them were shocked by the words they heard. Yet they were holding themselves in the better state in comparison to how Alice provided with the information that traveled to her brain like a never before roar.
To everyone’s surprise, this wasn’t the end of the war as they all thought it would be.
"What a nice sight to meet a lady Alice here!"
The brave voice pulled everyone’s attention. To their new surprise, it was Prince Alex, looking at them with the most upbringing smirk that sparkled his eyes to the next extent. "I was coming to get you but here you are for me. I was so worried that Cyrus must have left you all alone in that old palace..."
"While a lady like you deserves a real prince, you were given to a mere prince. You had bad luck,Alice." Prince Alex didn’t stop from boosting as he stood there with his soldiers too.
He was wearing a large metal vest, similar to how other soldiers wore for the battle, except he was the more royal dominating. However his appearance didn’t bring a single movement in Alice’s frozen state.
All she concealed was the shock, despite her legs still trembling. But the next second was when she faced the anger of this man who appeared out of nowhere. "What are you doing here?"
"Since the war is already over, I thought of bringing you." Alex signed back, in the sky where the earlier blast happened but now, it was all clear. It was over with the clouds, and some raindrops falling on the ground. "See, father must have already killed Cyrus, it’ll now. But he deserved this. He thought to compete with my father? He lost his mind before!"
"But I? I know how to treasure things which are valuable items, I don’t put them at stake...." Alex’s deliberate words brought enough stain to her heart. She could feel the lust behind those gazes which brought uncontrollable fear under her skin too.
But his next words were the alarm she waited for, "Come with me, as the next wife of mine. Come..." Alex had extended his hand for Alice to pick it up and have his back forever. Even Kian, and Forex looked forward to how the lady alice will react to him?
As she felt the undefined mist, subconsciously, Alice had started to move in his direction, much to everyone’s surprise. They all were bewildered upon their sight, finding that their princess was literally submitting to this vampire?
"Princess, i think yo-" Forex tried to bring her out of the daze, believing that her lost soul is the one who is taking such a step.
But to his raised owrry, Alice lifted her hand and signed him to not interfere in her task. She knew perfectly what she’s going for right now
And just as others, Alex’s eyes lit on seeing her approaching him, "Don’t listen to others. They know how to keep you at a disadvantage,lady Alice. Your real Prince charming is the one who is standing to infront of you right now. Come to me now.."
As she walked and took one step at a time, her eyes seemed totally lost. Her head had no energy left in herself undefined ortho iotn or anything else. But all that surfaced was the helplessness in her steps.
Meanwhile, they started a tour from the cloud. The sand beneath them got wet but her steps didn’t bring her to a stop. She walked and walked and walked...
Finally, she was standing in front of Alex, whose face glowed even under the rain. There was a wide smirk on his lips that reached up to his eye which showed clearly how joyous he was now, "You id agret job now..Alice..."
But then, within the swift movement, out of the blue Alice grabbed the sword of Alex’s adjoint soldier and attacked Alex on his chest with all the bit of strength she held inside her.
"AIYYAAA!"
