It didn't take long before the dinner was ready but Kayla and Mayra were still absent. Samuel was holed up in the kitchen until Elise returned with Ash following behind her watching her every step so that she didn't fall down.

Ash was quite protective of his little master probably because unlike other humans, the kid had no malice and truly enjoyed it's company also treated it like a friend.

It was barely eight in the evening so he decided to just cover up the dishes and wait for them which led to Elise continuing her earlier story of what she did throughout the day.

" Then..I met an uncle. He was nice and showed me around the whole place. It was so big and beautiful, I really liked it. He also told me many things like..." Elise eyebrow furrowed as she tried to remember the details. It was hard for her small mind to comprehend the intricate details about the history of the chapel so she was stuck.

" Alright, no need to think so hard about it. When we go there in the future, you can learn more and see more things." He patted her head with a smile on his face.

Unlike her grandmas he didn't scold her knowing that they would have already warned her about it. Beside, it wasn't as dangerous as running around in the streets. These tourist places have many people, so it was hard for anyone to target her specifically.

" Yeah~" She was excited about the prospect of having him with him next time.

" Are you tired or hungry? Do you want to eat?" He asked but she shook her head telling him that she would eait for everyone. She might act mischievous but she was still a sensible girl knowing how to respect elders.

" Well, you can eat as much as you want. I made some fried wings along with some special sauce that you like. It's sweet and sour and crispy too." Elise usually didn't like to eat chicken unless it was fried but she also liked sweet so he mixed everything together to create the classic dish. The only difference was he would wait until it was served to mix it together and also remove the bones for her.

" Wow~" Hearing it she was ina dilemma. After all it was one of her favourite food and she wanted to eat it but she also wanted to wait for Kayla and Mayra which made her torn.

" Why don't you have a piece before dinner? It wouldn't taste good if it gets cold." He pulled her in his arms and took her to the kitchen. Elise was short so she didn't know that he cooked so many dishes tonight. The whole kitchen counter was covered with plates!

He took out one of it and brought it back to the living room to serve. She obediently washed her hands while continuosly eyeing the plate. He prepared it for her and also served some food for Ash. Although the husky already ate some food earlier, it didn't hurt to serve it some more after all, she wouldn't be able to bear it drool all over the carpet!

Eleanor and Mathilda watched Elise eat with relish which was a heart warming scene. Samuel sat beside them letting her eat on her own, he also put on the protective towel around her neck so she didn't a mess of her clothes.

" So, she got lost and met a nice Uncle who helped her?" He asked the old ladies because he was curious about it. It's not everyday when one meet kind people that are willing to go out of their to help.

" It was one of the staff. I thought he was good and very helpful." Mathilda commented.

" I even asked if he needed help knowing that he was only doing the job as a temporary way to make money but surprisingly he declined." Eleanor added.

" Oh? And he knew about your identity?" Samuel raised an eyebrow when he heard it. It was indeed shocking for a normal person to turn down Eleanor's offer. She had a reputation to treat her employee with best conditions which was why enterprises under her were so sought after.

" That's what I liked about him. He kind of reminded me of you, maybe couple year older but he seemed different so I tried to get him under my wings. It's always helpful to inject fresh blood into the company."

" Maybe he had his own reasons. Not everyone is willing to climb the social ladder, it's quite tiring when one is good at his job." Samuel said while shaking his head. He was also a boss and knew how much energy it needed to oversee large corporations so that they could be on the right track.

" That's just a small story, what I am worried about was that someone was following us. They even manage to break into our secure firewall and monitor our activities without leaving a trace." Eleanor dropped the bombshell.

" Calm down, we don't know if they were after Elise or were just looking into me. After all, my visit here is too sudden which could make various party panic. I have known to cause such discomfort among my competitors." Eleanor said with a smile. She firmly believed that they weren't targeting Elise, if they were it would be a perfect chance for them when she got lost. Since nothing happened, they must be looking into Eleanor's dealings but what's puzzling was their advance technology that were able to crack her most sophisticated firewall.

If her enemies did have such means than she had to be careful in the future. It could lead to a lot of trouble!
