Samuel rested some distance away quietly watching the old woman retreat along with her three captains.

He beckoned Luna to him instructing her to stay away from the area for the time being. There might be poisonous residue that might affect them so they should hunt at someplace remote just to be safe.

As usual he didn't know if she understood him but he was too tired and injured to repeat himself. Not only he was battling with poison but he was also pierced by their weapons half a dozen times seriously injuring him.

His regenerative powers were taking some time due to the poison but he would be fine after an hour or so. He laid down trying to rest when he felt his cellphone buzz which miraculously didn't sustain any damage during the fight probably because they were never aiming for his legs only for his vitals.

"Samuel! Where are you? They told me-"

"I am fine Uncle. I have taken care of them so you can start the clean up process." His tired voice was noticed by Daniel.

This meant the initial prediction of five peoplenmust be fault as they had to be extremely strong to make him break a sweat.

A collection of that many remarkable individuals was highly unlikely.

"Were the from the same organisation? Who are they? We need to get to the bottom of this madness!" Daniel was frustrated. They touted themselves being the best in the world but it seemed like others didn't even put them in their eye. Such a force needed to be monitored closely.

"They were here for unfinished business."

"Is that girl involved in this? It was foolish for you to trust her." Daniel mentioned Talia name which made Samuel grip his phone harder.

"She is not involved. I am sorry, I will tell you everything when I come back."

" What do mean come back? If you are going somewhere take Steve and others with you." Daniel proposed.

"No, absolutely not. Let them focus on the Greens. We have almost cracked their defences. With so much pressure from foriegn and local forces, I believe even the Queen wouldn't be able to hold on for long."

"It's not wise to go against the crown Samuel."

"It's not me that made that choice. I warned her but she failed to make an exception. The era of monarch is like a setting sun, sooner or later it would be meaningless especially when she is harbouring and protecting people like them."

" Everywhere here is worried about you. Adele and others woke up and not finding you here, they are clamoring for answers. Some stupid brat told them and now they are in fear which is not good."

"That.." How he wished to go back and fall back asleep in their arms but he couldn't. Not without knowing where they took Talia.

Talia might not honor their agreement but he had a duty to protect her, at least this time so that he wouldn't feel burdened with guilt.

Samuel on the other hand was shook. His family had met Adele but Kate, Bella, Robyn and Dhia would be strangers to them.

"I will contact you. Please send someone to the city to wait for me." He knew the cover of darkness was important as people would begin to question if he dared to walk in public.

He was covered in blood from head to toe making him look like a serial killer!

He wanted to wash up but he feared his clothes would also be contaminated so he simply undressed up to his underwear and started searching for someone who fit his build among the people he knocked.

He also got to check his injuries, it stopped bleeding but would take some time to close up.

He could run to the city on foot but he decided it was best to rest for few minutes to get his bearings.

This road wasn't used much as it went through the forest and one had to take a long detour around the whole perimeter of the estate to reach the highway.

He thought he could find those people's abandoned vehicle but it seemed like they took a big bus or van to transport so many people.

As he was thinking about Talia's situation, he saw a distant light heading straight in his direction. He was off to the side under thick tree and bushes so any normal driver would not be able to spot him unless they specifically looked for something in his direction so he disregarded the approaching vehicle.

But he became alert when the car stopped right beside where he was hiding. Samuel decided it was best to gain some distance and see if more of them decided to come for support but as he stood up a sharp pain in his head made him stagger and unfortunately, whoever was in the car heard it coming out to inspect.

Samuel tried to lift himself up but he knew the poison have began to take a toll on his body. He had to push his limit constantly whenever he was hit with one of these monstrosities and this time was the same.

While Raani let him rest for half an hour, he had to fight within minutes this time making it spread faster in his bloodstream.

It was also different giving him hallucinations and headache which was still better than the feeling of being burned alive while feeling your skin fall in the process.

"You stop! Put your hands in the air!" Suddenly he heard a female voice which made him even more confused.

He had been arrested before but always peacefully and now it seemed like his haggard looks with bloodstains covering his whole face had become his downfall.

He squinted as the flashlight shone on his face making the situation worse. The female gasped and tried to reach for her radio that's when she realised she wasn't carrying on as this was a off duty call!

"Miss, can you just ignore me? I promise I am just someone who have last his way. I promise you will not see me again." Samuel knew it was futile but maybe she would get scared and run off so he made sure to give his creepiest smile.

"Shut up! Don't try to play coy with me!" He could hear her voice tremble. He tried to squint to see her face and what he saw shicked him to his core.

He abruptly stood up reaching for her facebut she was so startled that she weapon discharged hitting him right in his shoulder making him fall!
