Hollywood Zenith-Chapter 1219 : Answers-4
"I knew you would come but I never expected that you would break in by climbing the whole fucking building." As soon as he entered her office Raani sensed his presence.
"Well, I have to be careful. You practically tri d to kill me during our last meeting." He looked around feeling for any traps.
From his senses, he knew there were minimum people in the building at this time of the morning and hardly anyone at upper floors.
But he still felt like it was foolish to let his guard down knowing what she was capable off.
"Since you are here, I will presume my sister failed the mission. I hope you didn't kill her in spite."
"I thought about it but decided to let her go. She will get her due justice in time but on that note tell her if she ever pulled that shit again in my house, I wouldn't be so merciful. If she wants my head, she could give me a call and we can have a fair fight."
"Telling assassins to fight fair is cheating don't you think? Beside, you don't usually go out so she had to resort to those measures."
"Don't try to downplay the situation. I know what she wanted and what she was going to do after taking care of me. Killing innocent girls on the basis of suspicion is not noble. I told you repeatedly that I don't want to fight or have any part of this but you chose to ignore it." Samuel raised his voice. When it came to his girls, he was very protective.
" How would you react knowing some critical information was out in the public with no way of verifying the spread? She had to investigate, it was you who assume she would hurt them. You know there are many things that could help her extract information without hurting her target." Raani replied with a stern voice. She felt it was justified. Not only their organization depended on it but their whole cover would be blown leading to so unforseen circumstances.
"I am not here to listen to your nonsense. I want to know why you didn't keep your promise." He stirred the conversation toward important things.
"I did. Have you heard anything about your identity being leaked as the one behind the Green's upcoming demise? We stopped at peast a dozen different groups from coming to the same conclusion. I always keep my promises." She slammed her hand on the table which made Samuel take a defensive position.
"I am not talking about the Green. I am asking about Talia's whereabouts. You promised her return back to me."
"I never said anything about her. Beside, she doesn't belong to you kid. She is grown enough to make her own choices and she chose to stay away from you so you better stay out of her business."
"I will not ask you again. Last time, I was here for discussion but don't assume I couldn't knock you down and extract information out of your mouth. I also have some expertise in that field." Samuel walked up to the table locking eyes with her.
Raani knew how serious he was but if he thought he could make her crack then he was being delusional. She would die before giving him any information just like most of the people that worked for them.
"Hehe, you got some guts boy. Threatening me in my own office. What makes you think you can escape from here alive?" Samuel saw her claws extending, dripping eith violent liquid, the same poison that incapacitated him yesterday.
"I am ready to fight but in return you have to give me her location if I win."
"No." Raani twisted her body extending her hands to reach his face. Samuel stood still and let her come closer before leaning away and grabbing hold of her hand.
She fought back with her other hand trying to seperate away from him while aiming at the parts between his legs with a heavy kick but he blocked it with a shin before grabbing her other hand.
He stepped on her foot making her unable to move. The poison dripped down on the carpet making it sizzle, a clear indicator of it's lethality.
"You up the potency?"
"I had to knowing the previous one didn't work as I intended."
"Wouldn't it affect you too? I mean you have to endure-"
"Do you think I care about those things? I might be out for few hours but that's nothing when in return I can have your head." She smiled lavishly.
Samuel sighed picking up her hand bringing it closer to his face which suprised Raani.
"What are you doing?" She thought he was going to scratch her with her own poison which could be fatal. There was a fifty-fifty chance that she wouldn't make it even with the antidote that's how potent she made it this time!
With both her hands in his face, he slowly moved toward them before voluntarily scratching his dirty face with it.

The violent poison dripped down on his cheeks instantly melting his face but the boy didn't even flinch in pain very different from their first time.
He let her go as she took few steps back horrified by his suicidal behaviour. She knew the young man was crazy when she first met him. He talked big and even threatened them like he was talking to some low level gang while simultaneously having a aura about him which Raani had never seen in a man before.
But, she thought it was a ruse. These rich brats often have ego and pride which mainly stems from their parents influence or their ability to have money or girls at the tip of their fingertips, a false bravado that would instantly extinguish when met with a real flame but she felt this young was different.
"Are you crazy? I will get the antidote-" She really panicked but Samuel grabbed her hand waving them around like he was fine.
She didn't really want to kill him this time but only wanted to test if he was really a good match for Talia. The people he was going to go against would not hesitate or show mercy and she wanted to know if he truly have in him to care enough for someone he met few days ago to risk his life or was her delusion guiding her toward a false hope.
Either way, she now understood the young man was not only crazy but the craziest bastard she ever had the privilege to meet!
