Chapter 148 - Impending Devastation

(Drakken's POV)

"Seriously, leave me alone." I said with an annoyed tone, "Saera...."

She was clinging to my arm like an enamored little girl, "No~"

We were making our way down to the city, to rendezvous with my men, when Saera casually tagged along like an annoying little puppy. Maegelle was following me, I can tell she was still shaken up about the whole theater I pulled.

"Listen, little shit, I am being serious." I said

"Why?" She said, "You are going to wipe out my Family, right? Its only right I go with you as I was meant to."

"Saera...." I heard Maegelle say

I stopped and shook her off, "First of all." I said, "No, I don't think I will wipe your Family out today."

"Why not?! They tried to kill you!" She exclaimed

"Yes, yes, I understand that." I said, "But Ameon's wife and son are dead, so I call that even. The joy I feel when knowing that Aemon will have despair welling up inside him is more than enough. And aside from that, I have so much plans for the Targaryen line. I require someone to Torment after all and your Family have to be alive for that."

"Oh." Saera said, "I see....that makes perfect sense! As I thought, My beloved is a cruel and malevolent genius who crushes everyone that opposes him~"

"Hm." I said

"Please fuck me." She said

"Ugh....." I rolled my eyes and walked past her, "Let's go, Maegelle."

"Why ignore me~??? I have been good!" She exclaimed

"Don't push him, Saera." I heard Maegelle say, "Just stay in the Red Keep, I fear there is something fierce that is about to happen."

I smirked and looked at her, "As always, My Maegelle knows well." I said, "I suggest you stay inside, Saera, for what's about to happen is merely the start of my enjoyment."

"No, I want to watch!" She said

"No." I said

"Please!" She said as she ran up to me, "I promise I will be quiet!"

"I doubt it." I said

"No, I am serious!" She said with a determined face, "I promise."

"Hm." I said, "Fine. I will return you once I am done. Stick close to me and hold Maegelle's hand the whole time."

" Why?" She asked

"Because I find it funny." I chuckled

"You are cruel, My Lord." Maegelle said

"Ah, let me have my fun." I turned back around

"Ugh, if that is what it takes." Saera said, "Here, Sister...."

"Very well...." Maegelle replied

I was about to take a step when I saw someone limping towards me.

"DRAKKEN!!!!!" Corlys Velaryon bellowed as he clutched his wounded arm

"Well shit." I said as I crossed my arms, "I'll be damned....this guy still lives. Well, I think the Curse Mark gives him a bit of a regenerative factor and it must've closed the wound up. Damned Marks, Riktor should not have added the regeneration when creating them.....Wait....I did that."

He dragged himself towards me, his entire body wobbling.

"This guy?" Saera said with disgust, "What's his deal?"

"Lord Corlys...." Maegelle said softly, "He is wounded. Is he-"

"No no, there is no 'Lord' here." I cut her off while looking at her, "Simply Corlys. This guy is no Lord."

"I...." Maegelle said

"Drakken, I will kill you!!!" He shouted, "Where is The Sword, you coward!!!"

I looked back at him, "Oh buddy, you weren't there for the whole thing." I said with a smirk, "That whole thing was fake, not real. I am not weakened by it. I-...how did you get here anyway? Did you drag yourself over or did the Targaryens give you a lift? What's the deal? Ah, it doesn't matter. Ladies, step back."

"Huh?" Saera said, "What do you-.....Whoa!!!"

She was reacting to the fact I had sprouted the grey wings of Grayle on my back.

"Borrowing this again, Grayle." I said as I heard the swoosh as I spread them out, "And I'm gonna use your Flame-Lightning."

"Flame-Lightning?" Maegelle asked

As Corlys took another step, I extended my left wing forwards. It them began to emmit red flames from the bladed tip and halfways up the wing.

"Whoa!" Saera said, "Flames...!"

"Last words?" I asked Corlys

"You cursed me!" Corlys exclaimed as he lunged, "You had me shunned by my family and King!!! You humiliated-"

"Yea I don't care." I said as I swing the wing downwards at him

The moment the flaming wing came into contact, there was yellow lightning crackling from the impact. The entire wing pierced him through the shoulder and slammed him down hard. The flames then erupted upwards as lightning discharged everywhere, completely obliterating his entire body along with a portion of the ground.

Within a matter of a few seconds, Corlys was completely disintegrated, save for the bottom parts of his legs and a bit of his arms.

I pulled the wing back, "Wooo!" I said with a smirk, feeling nothing but exhilaration, "Now that is power!!! Man! I forget how Grayle operates! That is insane! What a rush!"

"G-Gone...." I heard Maegelle say in a soft tone, "Just like that...."

I furled my wings, "Yes, he deserved it." I looked at her, "He's the instigator of this whole ordeal, Sweet Maegelle."

"That was incredible!" Saera said, "Y-You have wings on your back and you wielded both Flames and Lightning! The power of a god indeed!"

"Hehe..." I said, "Black-Ether Perpetuality allows my power to exponentially grow at a constant rate. However, the speed of the rate might be constant.....but it could be slow or fast....anyways....now that my power is at a comfortable position, with the Dark Shade and Obelisk giving me constant fueling....I am capable of doing stuff like this..."

"Huh?" Saera said with a confused frown

"Ah, you wouldn't understand." I said with a smirk, "Maegelle does. She hears me ramble a lot."

"You can now access your Dragon form?" Maegelle asked, "The one you always boast about when you are intoxicated?"

"Not really." I said, "But I can 'borrow' traits from my Draconic Beasts. In this case, Grayle's wings and power. While technically, they are mine, since I created and gave them their power, those traits eventually become their identity and-...It's hard to explain the Laws of Calamities ...."

"I....I have a loose understanding." Maegelle said

"Good." I said as I turned around, "While these wings seem more like bony limbs, Grayle has the ability to form the webbing. I can technically fly but I'll probably look foolish."

"Grayle is completed?" Maegelle asked, "I thought he was far from done!"

"Oh, he's close." I smirked, "But enough of that. Let's rendezvous with Jon."

"I gave the signal already."
