How I Tame My Valkyrie Harem-Chapter 134: The King of the Undead Final Part

"Fireball!" Justine launched four fireballs towards the point where our swords met. The flames from our blades devoured her fire, growing even stronger than before.

The concentrated power we held was more than enough to destroy the dungeon's boss.

"This combo of yours is truly incredible, Sarah. I'm impressed," I praised their newfound power.

Sarah stood beside me, her red hair blending with the flames of our swords. Yet even as she radiated power, her face was flushed as red as a tomato.

"Eh? Really? You actually liked it?" For some reason, Sarah seemed a bit nervous at my words.

It wasn't exactly the best moment for this, but I kept smiling. "How could I not? The power you two discovered will be the key to our victory."

"Ahh, actually, this combo was my idea," Sarah quickly added, eager to take credit for the combined attack.

"Damn you, humans!!" Zalrorg cursed. The flames of his crown seemed faint, as if they were drawing their final breath before fading away.

Though his voice trembled with anger, the Lich before me could no longer hide his fear of the end as he stared at the flames surrounding Sarah and me.

I turned to the undead who had caused so much trouble—for me, for Ironburgh Town, and for my Valkyries. "These same humans you despise will be the ones who bring you down."

The flames behind us crackled impatiently. I couldn't hold them back much longer. I glanced at Sarah, and with a nod, we agreed to unleash our attack.

"This is your end, Zalrorg!" I shouted.

Together, we raised the raging inferno behind us. The fire we wielded was so fierce and untamed that it felt like the breath of a fire dragon. With everything we had, we unleashed our final strike, pouring our very spirits into the blow.

Our diagonal slashes carved an X across the skeleton before us, each bone disintegrating as it was devoured by the flames.

When it was over, a mist spread across the hall. The ice that once covered the ground had melted away, leaving behind solid earth. Where our flames had collided with Zalrorg, a crater remained—as if the ground itself had been blasted apart by an explosion.

At last, the battle was over. After everything we had gone through with the Ghosts and Derug, the boss of this cursed dungeon—Zalrorg—had finally been defeated.

And with his defeat, our levels increased as well.

Our levels had increased significantly, and on top of that, we had received a large amount of Status Points. The number of my Valkyrie slots hadn't changed yet—that would only happen once I destroyed the core of the dungeon and finally brought this mission to an end.

I didn't waste much time and allocated the newly gained Status Points into what I considered the best stat distribution for each of us.

'Huh, what's this?' I thought inwardly, noticing something unusual on my screen.

I checked the Valkyrie Tamer System HUD, and it seemed I had gained something more than my usual rewards.

[

Devil Crystal: A consumable item capable of summoning a demon. Thanks to your Valkyrie Tamer class, the demon created from this crystal will become your servant. It also grants you an additional Valkyrie slot, though the creature will not have a class. 𝐟𝕣𝕖𝐞𝐰𝕖𝚋𝐧𝗼𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝗰𝐨𝐦

'Why did I receive something like this?'

At that moment, Brandish's gentle voice echoed in my ears. 'Because the monster you defeated had the power to create demons. So you received this as one of the rewards for defeating it. This item will allow you to create a demon in any way you can imagine, but the crystal will be destroyed the moment it's used, and the demon will be bound to you from then on.'

'I see.'

So that meant I could now have a monster join my party. But since it seemed like something quite delicate—and could only be done once—it was better to save it until after the mission was complete.

'I'll find the core of this dungeon, destroy it, and finish this mission quickly,' I thought inwardly. But for some reason, I felt like I was forgetting something.

"Huh?" A hoarse sound escaped my throat as I felt something unusual happening to my body.

At that moment, I remembered exactly what I had forgotten. It wasn't just me who felt strange—I could see that my Valkyries were experiencing the same thing. The side effect of Ero Boost had begun.
