How to Tame a Villain Character-Chapter 174: Thomas’s Little Past Story
Chapter 174: Chapter 174: Thomas’s Little Past Story
On the other hand, Harry had a troubled look on his face all day since he said those very cruel words to his wife. Imagining those painful words still haunting his mind now, he began to worry about his wife’s condition during the days they had not interacted even though they still lived in the same house. Only Thomas knew the news of this divorce. Just like Sarah, even Thomas couldn’t bear to see the relationship between a husband and wife, which was already sweet, now end up breaking down just because of one problem.
Since his master never smiled again due to fighting, Thomas rarely spoke to Harry, unless there was something important he wanted to discuss related to work. He didn’t even think that Harry had filed the divorce papers himself without his knowledge. His inner voice dared to say that his master was very cruel to women, including his own wife.
Even though Thomas rarely spoke to Harry, he was also worried about his master’s condition, who drank alcohol every day when he came home from work. Harry always told him that he couldn’t stand his anger which was difficult to control as time went by. Therefore, Harry always drank the wine from his collection which was stored in the cellar.
After taking Harry back to his residence, this time Thomas wanted to pour out his heart to Sarah. Because only Sarah understands his feelings and knows the current situation best. Thomas invited Sarah to meet at the city park. Even though the wind was light, he was not afraid of catching a cold.
"Why did you invite me to meet in a place like this?" said Sarah with a languid look at Thomas who continued to rub his palms.
"Because I really wanted to talk to you here," answered Thomas with a serious look.
Sarah’s eyes narrowed. "But you seem cold."
"Are you worried about me now?"
"Yes, I was worried about you. Moreover, you must feel down when you see Harry suddenly asking for a divorce."
Thomas lowered his head while sitting on a park bench. He clenched both hands into fists while slapping his thighs.
"Actually, I was angry to hear Harry’s very cruel decision. If I were Claudia, I would definitely be very disappointed and hurt."
Sarah folded her arms, taking a park bench right next to her best friend. "But, you really don’t know the real reason why?"
"Every time I ask, he always remains silent. I don’t know what else he is hiding. Even though I’ve worked as his assistant for years, every time there’s a big problem, he always hides it from me. I only found out about the fact that he is not Harperwood’s biological child recently."
"But, why are you always loyal to work with him? Did he pay you a huge amount? Even though his attitude is very cruel, you are still strong."
Thomas took a deep breath. "Because he was instrumental in helping me when I was still a teenager. That said, the first time I met Harry was when we entered the military academy."

At that time, Harry and Harris were given the task of going into battle to face the rebels. Even though many soldiers were deployed from the Godnation kingdom, the number of soldiers was still considered inferior because the rebel troops had better weapons.
Many soldiers were killed by gunfire. At that time it was quite a bad time for Harry because he lost many of his close friends and many people criticized him for not being a good leader. During the war, Harry saw a young man who was almost shot by an enemy from behind when they wanted to celebrate because in the end their side won the war. With great skill, he immediately shot the enemy brutally many times, surprising all his colleagues.
The young man was Thomas who was frightened by the way Harry killed his enemy so cruelly that blood splattered on his face. Thomas stepped back slowly when the squad leader walked over to him.
"Are you okay?" Harry checked Thomas’ condition frantically.
Thomas nodded stiffly.
Harry breathed a sigh of relief as he patted his partner’s shoulder. "Thank God, you almost got shot by that bastard. If I hadn’t seen it earlier, maybe until this moment, you wouldn’t be able to celebrate our victory."
Thomas raised his head slowly. "Thank you for saving my life, Harry."
"Because you were my close friend during our time at the military academy. Whenever I’m in trouble or I’m out of ideas, you’re the smartest soldier I’ve ever met. I don’t mean to take advantage of you, but I really appreciate the results of your hard work so far." Harry patted Thomas’s shoulder briefly. "Will you be my right hand man after we graduate from the military academy?"
"Really? Can I work as your assistant?"
"Of course. You helped me a lot when I entered the military academy and just now I saved your life. As a reward, I want you to be my assistant."

After hearing that glimpse, Sarah wanted to cry because she didn’t expect that Harry and Thomas’ friendship had actually been so close since dozens of years ago. She thought that Harry had been torturing Thomas all this time, but the actual fact was the opposite.
"So, that’s the reason." frёeωebɳovel.com
"That’s why I want you to persuade Claudia not to hate Harry so much. Even though his words were hurtful, he actually meant well. I know for sure he is planning something big that can protect his wife."
"Actually, I want to tell you a secret about what Claudia wants to do when she gets home from work."
*****
At the luxurious residence, Claudia was waiting for her husband to come home from work in the living room and prepared a gun. Seeing that her husband had appeared in the living room, she got up from the sofa with a cruel look while hiding the gun in her back.
"I want to give you one last chance. Is it true that you want divorce?"
"Claudia, I–"
Cleverly, Claudia pointed the gun at her husband’s face. "Answer my question honestly, Harry!"
