HUNTED-Chapter 371: W.S.H.O (2)
Aila shook her head. "I know there will be other stuff we will bring back to the table for next time, but I wanted to resolve this quickly as well.." She pressed a button on the remote, showing the footage from the night before.
"We can sort our own out, but I think in these cases where Chase and the hunters can get involved, I do believe everyone should be aware and try to aid in this. We are searching for these ex-hunters. They go by the names of Bruce and Hunter, and they are part of this new sect, ’The Order’. I think we should work together to eliminate them before they become a big issue."
"I agree." Chase stared at where Aila had paused the videos. Each one showed Bruce and Hunter. They were in their late 20s, which went against Aila’s conclusion that mainly the older generation of hunters despised the supernatural creatures so much.
With this image of them, it was clear that they should still be wary of those in their age range.
"This won’t only be a supernatural issue, but it will be for humans as well. The Order will be labelled as a terrorist group if they continue to attack supes. It is clear now to the public and us that this group do not care about hurting civilians as well," Chase added, helping Aila make her point.
The Luna didn’t have any issue with showing her authority to the others, but she did appreciate Chase’s help. It had been a long day, and they were quick to jump to conclusions and find issues that weren’t there. This was good, though. At least the leaders were aware of such issues now. Even if they seemed ridiculous, it would help their population settle with the human population more efficiently.
"Yes, the sooner we get these ring leaders, the quicker we can stop this group and make the transition with supernatural creatures easier. I do believe a press conference will be needed as well," President Shane concluded, and that then sent the meeting into another hour of coming up with ideas and names of what to call themselves.
They also agreed that until they had a building on neutral ground for everyone, they would hold the meetings in different locations. The only ones denying anyone from entering their home town were the shapeshifters. Larissa explained that it was part of their nature to stay away from humans whether they knew about them or not.
Ajax did add, though, that they would arrange somewhere to meet up until the organisation had a specified location for everyone to arrive safely without fear of being attacked.
Aila looked at the paper with scribbled-out names and the last one that was in large capital letters.
W.S.H.O: World of Supernatural & Human Organisation.
It didn’t really sound cool, but it sounded professional. She hoped these meetings would help bring an era of peace between humans and the supernatural’s and if it lasted throughout the next generations, that would be great.

Everyone started to get up, a few stretching out their limbs. Gabriel didn’t seem tired, but she put that down to his vampiric genetics.
"Oh.." Chase spoke up, making everyone pause from leaving the room. Not that they were going that quickly. "I forgot to say.. Congratulations on your engagement. I hope I am invited to the wedding."
The hunter winked at Aila and Damon. She smiled back. "Of course you are."
"Wait.." President Shane walked back, eyes calculating as he looked between the Alpha King and Queen. "You are getting married? Why don’t you make a statement with it? The news and people have been going crazy about you two.. why not show them how a werewolf wedding is?"
Aila’s eyebrows shot up at that, and she looked at Damon, who appeared just as surprised and impressed.
"When is it?" The president asked.
"The next full moon," Damon responded before Aila could. She suddenly became nervous at that. The next full moon was in two weeks. That was not a lot of time to plan a wedding.
"Great.. Then why don’t we-"
"I do not mean to be rude," Damon interrupted, his hand sliding along Aila’s waist, and he pulled her tightly against him. "But I would prefer it if this wedding was more on a personal scale. We would have a second wedding anyway at the following full moon because of our status."
"A second wedding?" President Shane arched his eyebrow at them. "Then why don’t we arrange a live feed at the second one if it is not as personal?"
Damon looked down at his mate then. Aila was the one with all the answers. It was for her, after all. She didn’t know they would have two weddings, but if the second one was meant for the Alphas of each of the packs, then they might as well invite the leaders and some reporters as well. It was a great idea. Though she still felt nervous about it.
"That sounds great," Aila smiled back at the president and shook his hand before turning away and pressing her fingers into her temples. "I have to organise two weddings in less than two months."
"Don’t stress." Damon pulled her into an embrace, resting his chin atop her head. "You have the girls to help you."
That’s the same as anyone else! She just had less time!
She only told Damon the day before that she wanted to make the ceremony as close to her werewolf heritage as possible, and he was the one to suggest having the ceremonies on the night of the full moon.

After an evening of rest, the W.S.H.O. group set up a press conference for only a few journalists the president claimed were allowed special access and spoke from outside the gates of the Silver Crescent pack. It was set up for when the sun was down so Gabriel could make his appearance and keep his secret hidden that he could indeed walk in the sun, unlike most of his brethren.
When they arrived at the gates, though, there were more than a few reporters president Shane spoke of, and there were even a few, dare she say it, fans. They held up posters with Aila, Damon and Gabriel’s scribbled on, with colourful love hearts, and I <3 you’s, and hashtag #freethewolf, #freesupes, #givemeGabriel. The group were calling their names and screeching.
It made their warriors shift uncomfortably, but as long as they weren’t a threat, it would be fine. They knew this group wasn’t either. What surprised her, though, was that the new sect of hunters did not show up. That would have added more to their point if they did.
Aila was still relieved they weren’t there, though. Whether it was better publicity for the supernatural creatures or not, innocent bystanders would also be affected.
"Gabriel, you’re so hot!" A girl screamed from the sidelines.
Aila glanced at the Vampire King, who muttered that he knew how hot he was. He then looked at the posters before returning his bored expression to his phone. That riled the fans up more. They wanted his attention, and because he wasn’t giving them any of it, they seemed to swoon more.
President Shane cleared his throat, and the press conference began. On TVs all over the globe and on different news stations, it showed the new faces of the organisation that would bring together the supernatural world with the humans. Not only did the president speak to the cameras and answer questions, but so did Chase, Aila, Damon, Gabriel, Malcolm and Einar.
Each represented their factions. It was quite the moment in history, and the flashing lights and cameras all seemed like some far-off dream to the Luna.
Aila watched the recording late that evening from the sofa, her attire more casual than what she wore for the press conference. It was on a loop across stations. Something as big as this would be. The screen read:
The faces of W.S.H.O. Three of them were a part of the Hunters Association wanted list:
Alpha King Damon, Alpha Queen Aila, and Vampire King Gabriel.
It then stated who the others were and who they represented.
Each station had different comments but repeated the same thing and recordings from different angles. The next day newspapers were scattered all over the kitchen island with images of each of them.
It went from the gossip about who each of the leaders were, going from what they wore, their looks, and their relationship status, though that last one had a few question marks on Gabriel, Chase, Einar and Ajax, who somehow slipped in on the images, even though he stood to the side.
All of the men looked like hunky models with their differing looks, and now seeing them everywhere lined up like that, Aila realised how much she’d grown used to hanging out with hot men.
"No, it’s because none of them is Damon, and he trumps them all," Malia growled, again feeling defensive for her mate. There was no need. Damon was the only one she was interested in.
The day after, the news that had blown up about W.S.H.O. then continued down the path of gossip with the occasional return to the main report of who the organisation was and what it meant for the world.
Aila lay on the sofa, covering her eyes, feeling deflated from all the stress leaving her body. It wasn’t just the fact her face was all over the news like the others, but social media was blowing up as well. Somehow people were calling her to arrange interviews and to organise a social media account for her. She really wasn’t expecting that.
She almost threw her phone against the wall, but Luther, who had yet to return home, caught it before she did and begged her not to turn into Gabriel. Apparently, he went through quite a few phones weekly because of his temper. Aila wondered how much money he was losing from doing that.
"Oh, honey.. It’s so hard being a kickass Queen." Aila moved her hand to look up at Nairi. "But you can’t just lie down.. We have a WEDDING to organise in less than TWELVE DAYS!"
Chiara chipped in then as well, throwing a pillow at her Luna. "Yeah, bitch. Get your lazy ass in gear!"
A wedding.. in twelve days! Malia left Aila’s mind, locking herself up to stay away from the stress of the next events.
Traitor.
