Hunter X Hunter: The Strongest Assassin Of The Zoldyck Family!-Chapter 525: - โ Nen!
"Father said itโs different above the 200th floor of Heavens Arena... does that mean it involves Nen?" ๐๐ป๐๐๐๐๐ซ๐ฃ๐ค๐๐๐ต.๐๐ค๐ข
"Is everyone above the 200th floor a Nen user?"
Killua frowned slightly, his mind drifting back to the woman from the airship.
If thatโs the case, then I really was way behind back then...
"But why didnโt Father just tell me directly?"
"And why didnโt he teach me Nen?"
Kaizen uses Nen. Father definitely does too. Big brother Illumi, even second brother Milluki...
Killua thought back to the last time he visited Zoldyck Manor, recalling how heโd tried to threaten Milluki. His face flushed a bit at the memory.
If second brother already knows Nen, then thereโs no way I could beat him, right?
And I actually dared to threaten him...
He scratched his head, embarrassed.
I bet he laughed at me behind my back.
But strangely, Killua remembered that Milluki hadnโt laughed to his face. That thought unsettled him more.
Kaizen also said we have to wait for the teacher the Hunter Association arranged. Whatโs the deal with that?
Killuaโs frown deepened.
...
"Kaizenโs partner looks strong," Gon remarked, eyes glued to the screen.
On it, Nina nimbly dodged another attack. She slipped past the womanโs guard, stepped to the side, and delivered a clean punch to the waist.
The referee raised his hand.
"Effective hit! Full ten points. Match over!"
"Winner: Nina!"
The woman lowered her fists, reluctantly conceding.
"I lost... I concede."
As soon as the referee called it, Nina exited the arena, quickly disappearing down the hallway.
"Letโs go too," Kaizen said, rising from his seat.
Tessia and Ponzu followed behind him.
...
"Kaizen!"
At the end of the passage, Nina came running up.
"Nina."
She turned her gaze to Ponzu. "Is this Ponzu?"
"Nice to meet you, Nina," Ponzu said with a smile.
Kaizen cut in, "Letโs head back first."
The group of four returned to Kaizenโs floor. The training grounds, which had been mostly empty, were soon filled with activity.
Polar Bear trailed after Nina like a shadow.
...
"Kaizen, how long are you staying this time?" Nina asked, her voice hopeful.
"About ten days," Kaizen replied. "And during those ten days, I plan to run us through some specialized training."
"Our team has been together for a while, but weโve never done a proper team battle. Up until now, itโs been mostly solo fighting. Weโre lacking in coordination."
"But now, weโre almost fully formed."
Ponzu handles intel gathering.
Nina specializes in infiltration.
Tessia handles close combat.
Siper and Sally are snipersโlong-range suppression.
Siper might not improve drastically in a short time, but she still has her role. Sally assists her as a deputy.
Against most average enemies, this team setup is enough to win decisively.
If they run into tougher opponents, Kaizenโhidden in the shadowsโis the trump card.
His original idea behind forming this team wasnโt for direct combat. It was to build a support systemโpeople who could gather intel, draw out enemies, and act as both scouts and bait.
Because in the world of Nen, information is everything.
A well-informed Kaizen could plan and strike more effectively. Especially when the enemy is also organized as a team.
No matter how strong Kaizen becomes individually, numbers still matter.
Hearing all this, Tessiaโs eyes sparkled.
"When Shizuku and the others return, letโs all go over our abilities together," she said. "A team needs absolute trust. Once we lay everything out, weโll assign roles properly based on our Nen abilities."
Kaizen turned to Nina. "By the way, howโs Kastro coming along?"
"Heโs mastered all four basicsโTen, Zetsu, Ren, and Hatsuโand developed his ability," Nina said, glancing at Tessia. "Actually, his ability is kind of modeled after Tessiaโs."
"Modeled after Tessia?" Kaizen raised an eyebrow.
If heโs copying Tessia, then Kastro is already off-track compared to his original pathโwhere his ability had disappointed even Hisoka.
Not that it surprised Kaizen.
Thatโs exactly why he got involved with Kastro in the first place.
One: he didnโt want to waste Kastroโs potential.
Two: Kaizen suspected Kastro might be worth keeping in reserve as a team member.
"What did his ability become?"
"A tiger," Nina said. "Well, not exactly. Itโs a hybrid formโa humanoid tiger. He walks upright but has claws and fangs like a beast. His size increases too."
"Defense is impressive."
She took out her phone. "I took a picture."
Kaizen took the phone and glanced at the screen.
A strange feeling of familiarity washed over him.
The form looked almost identical to a character from a video game heโd played in his past life.
Perfect World. That monster-class transformation... itโs not just similarโitโs exactly the same.
Still, compared to the lame clone ability that once made Hisoka roll his eyes, this version of Kastro was far better suited for combat.
And definitely stronger than in the original timeline.
"He named the ability White Tiger Transformationโ" Nina added. "Right now, heโs at D-rank, but his growth is incredibly fast."
Kaizen nodded.
Talent-wise, Kastro was definitely above averageโeven more so than Sally, if the future played out like the postscript hinted.
After all, anyone who caught Hisokaโs attentionโespecially before theyโd fully maturedโwas bound to have promise.
As Nina spoke, Kaizen found his interest growing.
