I Ascend to the Divine Throne through Arcane Means-Chapter 1581 - 878: Battle in the Starry Sky (Part 2)
Just as Clement was struggling to adapt to this sudden change, countless meteors streaked across the distant starry sky, leaving brilliant trails.
Like a dense rain of arrows, they all swiftly fell toward Clement.
The whistling sound of the meteors cutting through the sky seemed like the trumpet of death, sending chills down his spine.
Seeing this, Clement was greatly shocked and quickly attempted to dodge.
His body had just reacted, yet he found that there was always an elusive sense of delay.
This feeling was like being in a dream.
His mind clearly aware of the impending danger and issuing the command to evade, yet his body always reacted one or two seconds late.
And in this moment of battle between demigods, every second of delay could mean the demise of life.
Such slowness was extremely fatal!
In Clement’s eyes, those few meteors magnified significantly, seemingly like the hand of the Death God reaching out.
Carrying the breath of destruction, they smashed toward him aggressively.
Clement desperately tried to shake off the force binding him, but it was all in vain.
Boom!
The meteors directly hit his body without any hindrance, producing a deafening explosion.
The powerful impact sent Clement’s body flying like a kite with a broken string.
Moments later, as the light gradually dissipated, Clement reappeared.
Only now, his appearance was extremely bedraggled.
His left wing vanished completely under the blow, leaving only an empty shoulder.
Blood flowed profusely from the wound, turning his body even more crimson.
However, Clement possessed the characteristics of a half-god vampire and sufficiently strong power.
His body quickly began self-healing, with the wound flashing with a strange light, muscle splitting and reorganizing at an astonishing speed.
Soon, a brand new bat wing appeared on his body, looking almost identical to the original one.
Its color was slightly pale, as if still carrying a hint of lingering cold.
A hint of apprehension revealed in Clement’s eyes.
He didn’t understand why this was happening, clearly Lis’s power wasn’t much stronger than his, yet it gave him a feeling of being irresistible.
This made Clement quite uncomfortable.
As soon as Clement raised his eyes, he realized that the vast starry sky before him contained a significant problem.
Wasn’t Lis a World Tree Favored?
Why was his domain a starry sky?
His heart was full of doubts, completely confused as to why he was caught in such a bizarre situation.
But the current situation was urgent, continuing to fight under these strange circumstances was undoubtedly very unfavorable to him.
Clement’s eyes widened with anger, letting out a sharp and deafening roar.
In an instant, extremely dense blood-red light, seemingly able to condense into substance, burst madly from every inch of his skin.
This blood-red light, like a surging sea of blood, rapidly spread in a mountain-moving tidal wave manner.
Wherever it reached, it freely corroded the surrounding starry sky that did not belong to it.
This was Clement’s powerful, evil demigod domain.
Within it contained chilling blood and evil power, as if able to devour all life in the world completely.
Lisb saw this scene, his expression remaining calm.
He merely narrowed his eyes slightly, carefully observing Clement and his freely spreading blood-red domain.
After a moment, Lis lightly raised his hand
In an instant, the starlight in the starry sky around Clement’s area suddenly intensified.
The once dim starlight now appeared like torches ignited, their light bursting forth.
Numerous beams of starlight swiftly assembled like trained soldiers.
Together they formed invisible shackles, starting powerfully to suppress Clement’s constantly expanding blood domain.
The previously aggressive sea of blood corroding the starry sky slowed down instantly under the powerful suppression of the starlight.
Like being tightly grasped by an invisible large hand, unable to advance any further.
The blood sea’s margins clashed with the dazzling starlight, neither side willing to yield, forming a subtle balance.
Though the area of the blood sea domain seemed small compared to this vast starry sky, Clement felt the pressure on him easing substantially.
The previous feeling of sluggishness and mental dullness gradually dissipated like smoke. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝙬𝙚𝓫𝒏𝓸𝓿𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝙤𝓶
However, Clement’s mood did not improve but instead grew more sullen.
He deeply understood that even though he was currently using domain power for counteraction, he was barely maintaining the current situation.
Right now, he’s like a lone boat struggling in a storm, constantly on the brink of being devoured.
He could clearly feel that this seemingly calm starry sky was actually filled with extremely frightening pressure.
Pressure, like a tangible entity, pressed from all directions, almost suffocating him.
Shouldn’t he have just become a demigod too? Why is he so strong?
Moreover, the more important thing is that, despite having unfolded his domain, he still couldn’t feel any external presence.
This feeling was like he had truly been teleported from Ruiz Underground City to this desolate, vast, and unknown starry sky.
The strange and mysterious starry sky around him filled his heart with unease.
Clement found himself at a stalemate within the blood domain.
That blood domain resembled a mysterious space formed by an endless blood sea, filled with chilling slaughter aura.
Every droplet of blood suspended in the air seemed to harbor terrifying power, capable of unleashing lethal strikes at any time.
However, the previously invincible blood domain had no effect on Lis.
Clement knew that such stalemate was not beneficial to him.
Thus, he hesitated not at all, his eyes flashing decisively, like an arrow leaving the bowstring, charging swiftly toward Lis.
His figure drew a magnificent blood-red trail across the vast starry sky.
That trail resembled a blaze, conspicuously bright in the starry sky.
Lisb, seeing Clement charging toward him, had his expression instantly turn sharp.
He reached forward without any hesitation, his movements swift and fluid.
And just as he stretched his hand, the starry sky around Clement began undergoing marvelous changes.
Previously calm starry sky twisted abruptly, like paper tightly clenched by an invisible large hand.
Wrinkles formed, chaotic and messy.
However, Clement was prepared. His body twisted intensely.
Like being tugged by mysterious power, he instantly transformed into an illusory status.
In this state, his body became indistinct and ethereal, seemingly able to vanish into the starry sky at any moment.
Utilizing this method, he deftly dodged Lis’ attack, then flashed forward like a phantom toward Lis.
As Clement closed in on Lis, Lis seemed to catch a strong scent of blood.
The smell felt like it was emanating from deep within Hell, nauseating him.
Before Lis could react, a massive blood-red bat suddenly appeared before him.
The bat’s wings spread wide, covering the sky, seemingly able to envelop the entire starry sky.
On its sharp claws flashed a trace of sinister blood red, like daggers laced with poison, gleaming with chilling light, aiming straight for Lis’s neck.
Free from starlight constraints, Clement finally fully displayed his strength and cunning as a half-god vampire.
His speed increased, and his power grew mightier, each attack carrying an air of destruction.
Lisb, briefly suppressed by Clement’s frenzied attacks.
Suddenly, Clement seized the moment, condensing a blood-red longsword within his claws, fiercely slashing toward Lis.
That longsword cut across the starry sky, leaving a deep blood mark, seemingly to split the universe in two.
Lisb could not dodge in time, and was struck by Clement.
However, a strange event occurred, the sliced Lis did not bleed, but instead gradually dissipated into the air.
Clement soon realized, the Lis before him was merely an illusion.
The real Lis had long since been hiding in some corner of the starry sky.
